No, I had not heard of either. The last King book I read was Hearts in Atlantis 
It was nothing like his horror writing. Kostovan on first glance, oh! The wiki page on her mentions Van Helsing. I liked that first movie. It did not seem like horror to me I saw that when it came out in 2004, but the subsequent movies did not really appeal to me at all, and I lost interest in the vampires and werewolves. I did really enjoy Anne Rice's vampire tales, in the Lestat series. I read those quite a few times before I was saved. I also enjoyed reading Jean M. Auel's Earth Children series that started with Clan of the Cave Bear. I read those many times also. And Jane Austen. LOL. What a mix I do not know how many times I have read Pride and Prejudice. Probably about six times Ken Follett's Pillars of The Earth was highly enjoyable for multiple reads also, and I have watched the mini series more than once too Atlas Shrugged was over a thousand pages long, but I never could read all of John Galt's speech A sixty page monologue got tedious every single time LOLOLOL but otherwise, I found Rand's fiction very satisfying

Good book.
Actually, I found it to be scary but that's the nature of Stephen King. My late wife before my current wife lived in Maine and met him quite a few times and talked at length. He lives in Bangor right in the city and is always walking around. She said he was a nice man, easy to talk to and paid attention to what she was saying. A few years he got ran over during one of his walks but recovered.
I took Spanish in high school, practically lived with a Hispanic kid, took Spanish 1 again in Jr. college while there for computer classes. Yet I can hardly remember any of it. It is so true, use it or lose it.

I haven't seen much of her lately at all. She seems very busy these days. Well, time for me to go to bed now. Sorry about the battery. I will pray that it holds a decent charge next time you charge it which will probably be in a few minutes. Good night dear. Don't forget to say your prayers. I could have charged and used but there ain't no power here since 9 or so. Goodnight, i never forget to say my prayers except when i am totally drowned with the sleep... sometimes i sleep pray and open my eyes to realize i was saying utter nonsense. Lol. Thanks for praying for the angels... don't forget to mention mosquitoes. Lol.
I cannot really remember anything about Hearts in Atlantis, a fact I realized when I looked it up to just now to read the story lines Forgetfulness does come in handy when re-reading books you enjoy I did not read Pet Cemetery... Cujo was more than enough for me LOL
The Clan of the Cave Bear (Earth Children series) books I read over and over again. The Mammoth Hunters was my least favorite of the series; it was the third of six books. When I first got that far, after finishing that book, I thought, oh, I should have read The Valley of Horses again first, before reading Mammoth Hunters, so I read that again, and then I thought, oh, I should have read Clan of The Cave Bear again first, so I read it again, and then I immediately re-read The Valley of Horses, and then read the Mammoth Hunters again, to keep it all in proper order, all in a month LOL. That was probably at least thirty years ago...
Forgetfulness does come in handy when re-reading books you enjoy I did not read Pet Cemetery... Cujo was more than enough for me LOL The Clan of the Cave Bear (Earth Children series) books I read over and over again. I highly recommend Jane Austen to you She is quite unique in her writing style, and nothing like many of the other authors we have been discussing If you like fictionalized historical drama, you may enjoy Robin Maxwell's The Secret Diary of Anne Boleyn. Maxwell also wrote The Queen's Bastard, which is about Queen Elizabeth I, who was Anne Boleyn's daughter by King Henry VIII. You might also enjoy Ken Follett's Pillars of the Earth, which is historical fiction set during the twelfth century, following the lives of common, humble but aspiring-to-succeed people struggling under the monarchy and the abuses of the church
