Many times we pursue the appearance more than the heart of someone we're interested in as singles you know...

A guy would want a 'Deborah' with a touch of 'sexiness' here and there... forgetting that being sexy is not one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit...

And a lady would want a 'Daniel' with a touch of 'the hot looks associated with the world' here and there...

'A man/woman after God's heart should be your main focus dear singles...

When a man/woman sincerely loves and fears God, loving/submitting to you would not be a problem...

Looks are good, but they are only 'a plus' don't make them the focus when seeking a spouse...

Beyond looks and appearances, seek God in the life and heart of the one you are interested in...

And above all... Allow God lead you when making a decision as serious as seeking a spouse.

Ist Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

God Bless You.

All I want is a nice tree branch to take a nap on. I don't know anything about those guys who want all that other stuff. My primary theory is, they are crazy.

The other thing is be happy as you are Paul advises

single? do not seek a wife (or husband)
married? dont look to leave.

Love your family and the ones you are with..the ones you are living with right now. They could die tomorrow.

Think its in 1 Corinthians chapter 7

though it seems a lot of people just skip over parts of the Bible and dont read Pauls advice on such matters.

"Crazy"?

As in "crazy like a fox"?

I thought that last fox that I ate tasted bad...

P.S.

Stop drooling or else find another tree branch.

Bears don't carry umbrellas, you know.

Drooling over fox? Ew! Carnivores always taste bad.

Small, plump herbivores like rabbits and shrews, that's where the good eating is.
