Lounge Forum

I miss the Lounge Forum in chat, so hoping this thread will be the start of a new forum.

Singles forum seems boarder line dating forum, so there needs to be a split. Plus, the relationship topics are getting older than vinegar, moldy cheese, and possibly lumpy milk. lol

I pledge the allegiance, to the Lounge Forum at Christian Chat, where relationship topics will be kept at a minimum. Where laughs and Christian Fellowship will be at the forefront for all ages, marital status, ethnicities, and genders. I will try to seek the good in people, not try to bring people down, and joke with kinda as much as possible. Where everyone tries to get a long and just fellowship. Also, where relationship topics will be kept at the absolute minimum. Once again, relationship topics will be kept to a minimum. I repeat, where relationship topics are kept in the other forums mostly.

Why anyone be against a Lounge Forum?

The forum would be totally voluntary, so nobody would be forced to click on the Lounge Forum link.

I think it would be great to bring all the Christian forum members together. It would help end segregation.

It could be useful, but... Singles has already evolved into a lounge forum. Sure there are a few relationship topic threads here and there, but those can be easily ignored.

We also have Miscellaneous Forum, which has become a secondary lounge (and for a certain member, a pulpit.)

I'm already keeping track of two forums. Do we really have to add a third one I will need to check every day?

All the people that wanted to take the oath of the possible Lounge Forum, must stand up, raise their right arm, and state the oath to be a full fledged Longue Forum Member. There is plenty of room for everybody.

The only room left to put the Longue Forum is at an old abandoned warehouse next to Christian Chat Headquarters, and it needs a lot of work. We need volunteers, lobbyists, I.T. professionals, hosts, and activists to help bring the Longue Forum into fruition. Not to mention donations to Christian Chat. Right now we have zero funding and there is already opposition to this fledgling new Forum concept.

Not to worry though, God's will. There are already some discussions with the local trucker's unions about setting up a major convoy, and the plan is to honk the horns until the new Forum is brought up to CC Counsel. Some people in the trucker community are relating this movement like the walls of Jericho. Right now it's just a grassroots movement, but with word of mouth, it could gain some traction.

Lynx, you should of took the lap around the track, it was refreshing. All that fresh air and exercise.

A few relationship topics? lol You ever thought about doing stand up? The singles forum is more dating forum, than anything else.

The Miscellaneous Forum is a far cry from a lounge. Please support the Longue Forum. You don't have to keep track of it, or be a part of it, but a meeting place for all the people is needed.

But this way we can kick those people addicted to politics out....and we can talk like normal people instead of religious nuts. Don't get me wrong...Jesus is my life...but there's more to talk about than theology and politics.

There's coffee...donuts....cake....BBQ...pie....weather....

Would the singles forum be relegated to only relationship topics and people looking for a date?

There are people looking for dates and I like what this forum has evolved into as well.

The Singles (dating) Forum doesn't need to change, it can stay the same. This new proposed forum will not subtract from the Singles Forum, but add to Christian Chat as a whole. Singles Forum and Lounge Forum can co-exist without consequences.


The Lounge Forum will be an oasis for those who like a more casual family oriented topics. No need to dress up, just show up in your pajamas, and just sit in a recliner. It will be a meeting room for all walks of life, not just those begging to get married.

No need to have game in the Lounge Forum, but games can be played, as well as laughs, and just enjoying a chance to meet other chatters, without the worry of wanting anything in return.
