Recently single (female) here. I think it's always better to be single than with the wrong person. It's hard for me to find guys with the same values as I have, that also have a good sense of humor...

But I'm happy enough being single right now. I'm almost 25, so I've got plenty of time.
I like how you think! =]

Well im 18, male and now single. My last relationship was with a christian girl but it still went terribly wrong so now i appreciate the good things about being single. You get to focus more of your time on god than anything else. I think its harder to maintain a relationship with god when your with someone. Just my two cents.

I am 26 single and tierd of it. I feel like I struggle to find good Christian men because of my past. It's not awful or anything, but I wasn't always concerned with living a pure life and now I am. I've been living a pure lifestyle for over two years, but because of my past some Christian guys won't even look my way when it comes to dating. Others act like good Christian men, but then as soon as we get close they start to push the boundry sexually and don't seem to understand why I'm not ok with it. "you've done it beofe". I do believe there is someone out there for me, but I'm just not sure how to find them. I have two degrees, a great job and no man. Help! lol.

What kind of pure lifestyle are you working on? What are you two degrees in?

Good advice, but it was sure a lot easier to believe when I was 17, haha! Keep that positive attitude though. Don't get caught up in the madness of society telling you that single is bad! :-D

i dont know if i replied on here or not LOL but im 18 and single and i love it! never had a crush so i've never had a boyfriend.and let me tell you, being totally focused like that, has let me become so close to GOD!GOD is my true love.and i think once you know for yourself and act like GOD is your true love,GOD will bless you with the right person.i dont belive in experimenting or dating.dating is actually in the bible, and it says it is a sin.cording is also in the bible, and GOD says cording is the only righteous way to do it.true story!haha...just a little insight for you guys!hahaha, but what ever happens,if you all have a crush, make sure you're totally focused on GOD first!if you're not, drop the crush before it becomes a distraction.i've had to counsel several other teens on this,so i know!haha

Let god lead you because if we cant find fullfilment in him alone how are we gonna be happy with someone by our sides when testing times come, i will say to you freind that it is a lot more fulfilling when you learn to be content by yourself first because you cant be happy in a partnership if you dont learn to be happy with who you are in god, just you and him he is enough when you press in with prayer and your honest with him about how you feel no matter what it is your telling him he will guide you encourage you with his word i thinkk its colossians 1 v 10 it says you ARE complete in christ who is the HEAD :) of all principalities and powers.

Isnt that great stand on that verse meditate on it ponder over it and let no one or the enemy suc you into that lie that says this is what the worlds doin your gona stay alone, you are not complete by yourself stand on gods word no matter how you feel and i can promise you with a 100 percent confidence it WILL work you will be happy without a partner then in the right time god will lead you to that special christian female freind you never know read the book of ruth it applys to males and females, read that book of the bible and be encouraged and dont quit standin on gods word its not just storys from long ago as we know :)

there is power and life in the word! and in the worl we live in, i thank god for that godbless and i hope this helps you :)

I am a single guy-and i keep seeing people write stuff in here going on about how much they hate being single grrrrrrrrrrrr yes it can be a challenge at times.
How about we all stop focusing on what we do have rather than what we dont have and see us being single as a blessing and opportunity to do things for the lord and in life that most people in relationships cant do.
To the males in the house letz make some choices to see things from an eternal perspective rather than our fleshy ones and im not just saying this to annoy u-i have been single since being born again-10 years and have had my share of struggle but there is no point in dwelling on this-there is so much more to grab hold of
peace out

yess, preach it!!!finally!im single and let me tell you,i've gotten so much closer to GOD!i always hear how singles want to meet that special someone or i hear "omg,he's cute!" or "dang, dude, look, she's hot" and honestly,i hate hearing it.we CHRISTians need to rise up and get closer to GOD and make him our "special some one" i've been making GOD my "special some one" for years and years to come and i love it!i am very close to HIM and focused on the truer things in life, including being close to HIM.so i speak from experience when i say making GOD your "special some one" is the best thing ever!!!=]

Being single is a gift to be celebrated, I'm 34 and I have only been in one relationship that almost ended up in me renouncing Jesus (very long story), all because I no longer wanted to be alone. Desiring a husband or a wife is awesome! We are wired for companionship, remember that while we are single we are being prepared like the Church is being prepared! You will know when the season of marriage has come for you, so instead of being frustrated about it, prepare for it diligently (easy to say hard to do I know). When that time comes, put yourself out there, don't be afraid of who you are in Christ, because whoever she or he is, they will know... so celebrate the fact that your single, and if your recently single, have come to the lord and hes made you whole again, don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. YOU ARE WITHOUT BLEMISH IN GODS SIGHT, and if anyone thinks your less than that, shame on them!

I can say this because I'm a 34year old who is still a virgin, and if God gave me a wife who comes as a packaged deal then praise God! He gave me his best! Don't settle for 2nd!

Stereotypes is what makes this world not a great place to live in... but thats why we christians shouldnt think about that... break them and move on.... there is no answer on is there fore female christians singles or male christians singles... its a question of how many actually noticed the post.... and there is no answer to the stereotype of guys being "dogs" or whatever... or girls judging them..... in reality... all we should be concerned about is how is it with me... am I just like the rest or can I really step over my boundaries and just live the way God intened me to live.... the age and being single also is a great subject..... some say they hate it... well.... did u want to be married my 21 and at age 25 say that it was the worst decision u made? Being single can be a blessing as much as being married can be a blessing.... its a question of being in the center of Gods will... isnt it?
