A lot of people don't understand that some tears are tears of compassion, tears of joy, other reasons other than sadness. I tend to cry whenever I pray, no matter who is around. It used to bother me until a lovely elderly Christian told me that I should only worry when I could not cry. Tears are a sign of a tender heart.

My stepsibs are half native American. They have beautiful skin and hair! I'm an extremely fair skinned redhead. I watched them run and play outside/swim for extended periods/etc while I was growing up without having to worry about sunburns and freckles. :/

And me.... I blind people at the beach *sigh*

sigh. i'm still working on not feeling like a freak. as i've said in a previous post, i cry in bible study, during worship, testimonies... i think it bothers me more because i spent the majority of my life never crying, and in the last several years, it's like i'm waterworks. first i switched to waterproof mascara, but now, i don't even bother with it during some events. it's just pointless.

also, it's so ironic, because i used to be one of those persons who was sooo uncomfortable when people cried. and now i'm one of them.
