Reading John C. Maxwell books: "25 Ways to Win With People" & "The 360 Leader"

Please I'd like to know how this has changed your life at church and in the world, it will benefit you in your work and life.
Personally you must stop thinking in terms of "Should do" and change it to "Can, could and will do" stope meditating on the past or any bad negative feelings and focus rather on your future and how you can be the solution. Love and joy.

Always practice the 30 second rule: encourage someone genuinely within 30 seconds:

Forget about: How to make yourself look good. Instead search for ways to make others look good.

Ask: What positive, encouraging thing can I say to each person I will see today?

Do it: Give everyone you meet the Triple-A treatment— Attention, affirmation, and appreciation.

Remember: Within the first thirty seconds of a conversation, say something encouraging.

BEING A WINNER COMES DOWN TO ONE THING: YOUR VALUE

Winners are valuable

When you embrace your own personal value, when you are secure in who you are, then you have become a winner.

Forget about: Whatever makes you feel insecure.

Ask: How can I increase my value in order to benefit others, rather than just myself?

Do it: List the things you can improve about yourself (bad habits to break, etc.) along with specific steps to take to make the improvements.

Remember: Your relationships can only be as healthy as you are.

Motivation helps people who know what they should do … to do it!

Motivation helps people who know what commitment they should make… to make it!

Motivation helps people who know what habit they should break … to break it!

Motivation helps people who know what path they should take … to take it.

There's more to it but these have been the foundation, I have had an impact where ever I go just being a light and leading people to love God and appreciate everyone. Also when you suggest thing to help people be kind and instead of saying "you should do this or that" inspire them by stating " you could do it like this" or "I can help you with that" or "you can do it, you could try it this way". "You are so gifted, you could try this"

Understand your identity in Christ as a child and chosen one and live from this. to our King Jesus the Christ be the glory forever and ever.

Being a winner? Sounds more like Osteen-isms than biblical teaching. Moses was an insecure coward with a stutter. God didn't convince him he was a winner, he used him right where he was.
The bible never espouses being a winner. It teaches humility and a willingness to be used by God. It says God uses what is foolishness to the world. Christ himself was not a 'winner' by worldly standards.
Saul was a 'winner' by worldly standards. A confident leader who was able to convince others into attempting to kill off all people who followed Christ. God then HUMBLED this 'winner', and to ensure Paul stayed humble God provided a 'thorn in the flesh' to keep him that way.
The bible doesn't teach being a winner. It teaches humility, obedience, meekness, turning the other cheek, giving more than you are asked of and to expect God do the unexpected with those people would think have nothing to offer.

Great response but this is not the intent of this post. I am a Paul, Peter, John Piper, C.S. Lewis, Charles Spurgeon, Deitrick Bonhoeffer, Tozer and most importantly the King Jesus the Christ fan.

I can understand the need to break this apart and think negatively about it. This is about how to win with people not how to bible bash them. The King Jesus the Christ teaches us to love others and continues to teach us in the way He lived his life, yes we must lead all people to Christ and how are we doing this are we condemning them to a hell that we are also in danger of going to if we live a sinful life and live in judgement of others rather than a righteous and loving judgment that guides others in love to the Cross. Are we living it out or are we pushing out ideas on others therefore never leading them to the Lord. How do we maintain our relationships with believers, are we constantly telling them how to live or are we living life with them inviting them to eat with us and dine and enjoy life with us as the King Jesus the Christ did. How are we loving others?

Being a winner is completely biblical, a child of God, I'm a winner, chosen by God, I'm a winner, Saved by grace, I'm a winner, walking by faith, I'm a winner. I understand your points but Paul was a winner, he spoke about running the race so you would win the prize. We have faith that we have already won the race but strive toward perfection. The King Jesus the Christ was in relationships, everyone wanted to hear what he had to say because he spoke truth, the beatitudes exemplify the attitude we should have toward everyone humble but encouraging lifting up and leading to the King Jesus the Christ. He truly is King. Why is it that we focus so intently on telling people how to live rather than loving them and showing them how to live? it is because loving is difficult and takes time, it takes our time to be an example of Christ in the earth.
