"Phoebe was a deacon."
Romans 16:1
Seems pretty clear to ME that women DID like teaching and leadership from women , based on this COMMENDATION by Paul in Romans 16:1 , speaking laudation of Phoebe, a deacon in the church. (Cenchreae). This is truth, there is no getting around it. Try to, go with 1 TIM 2:12 and 1 Corinthians 14:34-35, you can't get around it, especially by reading 1 Timothy 3 , the part about qualifications for a deacon. So, women as leaders, quite likely OVER MEN, too, IF Phoebe is the Scripture example ? Yes.
