Look guy's baptism is a show or act of dedication. However, it can be seen as as something "I" did. The only thing we can do to be saved is accept Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. Why we focus on things we can do is beyond me. We keep trying to say "look Lord what I have done" and He keeps saying " no look at what I have done for you".

baptism is not a prerequisite? why then Pete say baptism was for the REMMISSION of sins????
I honestly can't see where you guys are coming from--why can't see the church started in Acts 2 and the same instructions found in Acts 2 are the same instructions for everyone who wants to be saved.

You guys make me laugh--your eeeegos sure get in the way--of good scriptural sound doctrine.ROFLMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Totally agree but that should not prevent us from also increasing in knowledge of the scriptures which is what we are trying to do unless we just came here to prevent that.

So please tell me who the mother was whom Paul was speaking about here: Galatians 1:15 "But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace.."

Specify a prerequisite of what?

Do you mean a prerequisite to salvation?

People are going to lost because of their egos
Again i agree 100%.

Does that mean I do not have any responsibility to share and spread the knowledge of God with the increase as he gives that knowledge?

So please tell me who the mother was whom Paul was speaking about here: Galatians 1:15 "But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace.."

Thinks that if your going to spread the gospel then you should teach what the early church taught, which is Acts 2:38. The death burial and resurrection of the LORD JESUS the Christ. Anything other than that and your stepping away from what the very disciples taught.

JESUS gave Peter the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven, which was a revelation. In-turn, Peter used those keys to open the doorway of understanding for us on the day of Pentecost.

If JESUS gave those keys, knowing before hand what Peter would say, don't ya think that it is good enough for us as well? Or are we all more special than Peter?

I believe that the word is talking about Paul's mother. That God, in his foreknowledge chose Paul, as an apostle and gave him the true meaning of the new covenant, which is the cross and to preach it to the gentiles. Remember Paul was a pharisee trained in the scriptures and actually persecuted the early church until his meeting on the road to Damascus. Many are called but few are chosen

I couldn't detect the shar pai but that is a bread I am not familiar with.

I wish I could remember the full bread name of that bluexxxx. They are nippers by nature though, but are often used around sheep and livestock.

I had one on a farm I lived on and watch abotut a dozen cats gang up on it one day because she messed with one of the cats kittens.

Well since were on the subject I have a borador. That is a black lab and border collie mix. The AKC recently accepted them as a breed. Very intelligent, well behaved, easy to train, but high on energy.

She has shar pei tail, and ears and some loose skin around the neck. Lab is more dominant I think.
