Yes, that is a given. As a family, they all need to know where things stand. I have
been praying for his kids for a long time. My heart aches for them.

Miami, Jim. Nail biter all the way to the end. One thing is for sure, if San Antonio loses, you know they didn't just roll over.

Off to work with me.

Seatbelt wherever you are right now. We are praying for you brother. Remember this, Deuteronomy 28: 7 The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven. Love you brother.

A gun. A girl I went to beauty school with went and bought one, brought it to class, and shot a couple people in the face...

Wow, that sounds so violent.

XD! Cristen, I came back on for a few minutes after I'd had to leave (right after DED was kind enough to answer my question; I'll have to respond to that as well now), and saw that on my activity feed. Was shocked until I saw what you quoted XD!

Oops, didn't realize I came in whilst you guys were talking about Seatbelt and his children. "May Your holy will be done in their lives, Lord; protect those two precious children, no matter what it takes, and show their dad what to do and say, in court and out. In Jesus' name, amen."

No, there is nothing there for modifying really....modifying is to me is modifiying an existing piercing. I do have tapers though.

Hey Aimee! Been in situations similar to yours. Unfortunately, the person usually chooses the person they are loopy for over God or reason,or at the plea of their friends. :( It will eventually come out that he's been lying/manipulative,whatever & she'll be devastated & come running back to her circle of close friends saying how right everyone was & how she should have listened. 90% of the times I've witnessed this same thing. All you can do is be honest...say what needs to be said if God is telling you to confront her & then let it go. You did what you had to...the rest is up to her. You know all this though.

Good morning BTW everyone/anyone!

Did my eyes deceive me,or did I really see a post from Midnite? lol Howdy stranger!
Your wondering eyes deceive you not ITore, how ya been man?
True advice you got goin' on there BTW.

Seatbelt, I have a verse just for you to embrace through the difficult time you are going through.
Proverbs 16:7
7When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him

Jilly81, where you at sista?
I have a home business, so when I'm here, I'm not definitely here; often someone will drive up, or the phone will ring, etc.. I almost mentioned it when I asked the original question, but didn't :D.

Okay fine, would anyone else like to hear the story of my first tongue piercing? lol.
Yes, I'd love to! I may have to get back to it later, if the driveway alarm rings, though :).
When my mom found out that I'd gotten my nose pierced, she just stared for a few minutes, and then was like, "So...when you blow your nose, does snot shoot out that thing or what?"

...I think people who ask questions like that about piercings are just jealous :p (kidding...man, MY humor reeks today)
HAHA! Hey, you know something funny? The past year or so, it's like lip/nose/eyebrow rings have become more distracting to me. Like, I don't feel judgmental at all toward those who have them, but my eyes gravitate toward their piercing. I pretty much have to force myself to listen to what they're saying and look them in the eyes. I suspect it might be something to do w/ being mom-aged; I keep wanting to say "hey, you have something on your face; hold still and I'll get it off for ya :)". This seems to be even more so for any youngsters I notice with piercings (like the 12-year-old w/ the light blue barbell-ish lip ring; it was really hard not to stare, though I managed).

Well let me tell you... I've been through it all and I mean all. Over the years I have pierced and modified most everything. Over 20 years of doing this and a few of those years as a professional piercer. I have found out what works for me in life. Also, I went into psych nursing which limited me greatly. On the oral piercings. I found that I disliked the tongue. I don't mind the labret or the snake bites. I used to have all three now I just have the labret. My first tongue piercing was pretty extreme. I walked in with no piercing and walked out with a 0 gauge piercing. Yes, a zero gauge barbell with 3/4 inch balls. I busted my front tooth with that thing. lol. It was incredibly uncomfortable but I was determined. After I cracked my tooth I took it out and then I re pierced it myself with an 8 gauge barbell. I kept this for a year and realized I just don't like them.
So, did it stay distracting/irritating? Or did you simply not like the way it looked? Also, were you determined to leave it in to prove a point or something similar?

Okay, so for my first tongue piercing they did a cut and stretch. So the pierced my tongue with a 4 gauge needle, that was the biggest needle used at the time and I believe still is. after they pushed the needle through they chased it with a O gauge taper and walah, instant 0 gauge tongue piercing. Lots of trauma to the tongue for sure. I could hardly talk and it was kind of painful. I was determined though so I made it through. I was talking or doing something and the big 3/4 inch ball on top hit my front tooth and busted it. So I realized this was a bit much and I removed it. Now days I see people use plugs at that time I never thought of it. The second time is the time I did it myself. I pierced it at an 8 gauge and kept that for a year. After awhile it's just not practical. Piercings you keep depend on the person and how much they like them. There are some I still like that I've had but I had to take them out do to my job. Now, I have my lobes, my labret and my septum and a few others. My experience is that eyebrow, bridge and tongue piercings annoy me in daily life.

Oh, the ball itself was 3/4"! O.O Wow, that sounds huge for a first time piercing. Did the hole close up after you removed the first one, and you had to totally re-pierce it?

Suuuuuure it isn't. Just admit, yer' a big mush mush deep down & you like a nice soothing floral pattern now & again from the Martha Stewart collection. No judgment bro...no condemnation in Christ Jesus, remember? lol

Modifying...like Ummmm Frankenstein's Monster. (that's what the saw was for Jilly) It's alive...it's alive!
