Do you remember when you used to sit in front of the TV and mum told u not to do that cause might go blind?
Watching the snorks, smurfs, brady bunch, heman, transformers, G.I. Joes? Remember Dawson's creek, candy, sonic, widget, hulk? the very beginning of garfield and the simpsons?
Thinking about all of them brings back so many feelings and smells.... so nice!
Which were ur favorite? Remember?
 
Ahh, those good ol' Saturday mornings, when I'd pour myself a huge bowl of Lucky Charms and park myself in front of the TV.

I used to LOVE the Beetlejuice cartoon.
 
I loved the bugs bunny and tweety show on saturday mornings. Heck I'm 22, and still love it! They don't make cartoons like they used to. Sigh
 
Amen to that. They've brought some of the oldies back but are revamping them for today's youth. I want the originals! And the 'kids' nowadays think what's out now is totally new - they have no idea!
 
man i dont how many times me and my friends think back to the older cartoons...i mean cmon transformers, g.i. joes, mighty max, thunder cats, johnny quest and xmen. ahhh i miss it so much

I just love it don't matter to me how childish it might sound.... just how many times has anyone bothered a friend saying or just been said, you look just like popeye (wouldnt want to LOL), talk just like mighty mouse? I love those times!
And your soooo right, no matter how much they mean trying to make 'em "more actualized", original is always better!:D
 
yeah, the original is always better. I remember when the Power Rangers were actually cool. Now they're really lame.
 
i mean the original power rangers is awesome fo sho. the green ranger is the best of course but yea i think sponge bob was the start of the end for cartoons
 
bugs bunny, road runner, jetsons and flinstones. A big bowl of corn puffs, and the prize inside if you got to it first. Life was good.
 
hmm, I only had two channels at first, then three, but only one with sensible stuff for kids... I miss it though, coz nowdays there's just annoyying stuff that even the kids don't seem to like :p
 
yeah... I miss Titten Tei (where you'd actually learn something about earth and other things without it getting boooooring)
 
Lol I remember watching cartoon network back in the day when they had Jhonny quest, Transformers and all those cartoons. but I've skimmed through the channels and seen some of the cartoons now days and I can't believe anyone could sit through any of the new ones now haha.

I know I was a bit old to post here but I loved cartoon saturday so much and well the kid in me just had to. My kids loved teenage mutant nija turtals. God bless, pickles
 
I was never really into the ninja turtles. I liked loony toons better.
 
aaaaaaaaw! Ninja turtles sooo cool! G.I. Joes I really love that time and all this feelings and memories just come back when I listen to one of their theme songs or watch them such a lovely feelings. I wish kids now could just experience that not this kind of shapeless cartoons they have now!
 
I looooved Ninja Turtles. Me and my friend would play in her backyard and we'd pretend we were the Ninja Turtles. I was always Donatello.
