What is the brown stuff with the little green weeds sticking out?

I'm sure it's something perfectly fine... but to me it just looks like brown stuff with weeds, lol.

Champorado is perfect for rainy seasons. It's a chocolate rice porridge, very simple and easy to prepare. The main ingredients are sweet glutinous rice (locally known as malagkit) or just ordinary rice and cocoa powder but I normally use "tableya" instead(pure cocoa blocks) the taste is way better, added with sugar and milk to make it taste sweeter. Yum yum! :D
