I am so amazed at how when a person is found to have been an
adulterer 25 years ago, and can't run as Politician. Let a homosexual
run for office, he or she is embraced. I think there is something wrong
with this picture. I believe the world is turning upside down and the
people are so confused they can't figure which Scripture in the Word
of God should be followed. The demons are having a hey day with lies,
and laughing at the foolish Christians who defend sexual immorality.
We have to stand firm and speak out as Gods spokes person and lift
each other up when we are being knocked down with words of hatred.
I have had homosexual cousin, I loved him and would have done anything
to help him. I was not afraid to share Christ and he died at a young age,
however I do not know how his ending was spiritually. I hated the sin,
not the person. I have no compassion for those who are parading around
so proudly and kissing and boldly proclaiming they are victorious. Man,
let a married man or woman proclaim they are having affair and what do
you think would happen? I am against display of sexual conduct in public.
If one wants to sin, do it in privacy of your home. And for goodness sake
stop letting little children see your display of affection. Jesus said woe to
those who harm little children, it is better a millstone be put around you
and be cast away.
 
Y'all actually make me legitimately terrified to be alive in this time. And it's 2013 for goodness sake.

This doesn't even seem to be about marriage or rights anymore, we're just insects to you, aren't we?

Quite honestly, after reading all of this, I would absolutely LOVE it if my homosexuality was a choice because then I could just choose to be heterosexual and be on the side of the people who are supposedly more moral and holy.

Except, it isn't a choice is it? Because why would anyone in their right mind CHOOSE to be a part of a group that faces so much discrimination?

More importantly, the Lord our God is sickened and disappointed. I believe he will send the nation a sign of his displeasure in the next few days. The last time I felt this way was when our nation's leader advised Israel to return to its '67 borders. Three days later a tornado devastated Joplin, Missouri. I hope He sends a clear sign that will even give pause to unbelievers.

Where did God ever tell us to insult them? Aren't we suppose to preach the Gospel to them? Aren't we suppose to bring them to Jesus? Aren't we suppose to show them the one that can set them free from this bondage? Aren't we suppose to tell them of His nailed scarred hands and feet and the terribly high price He paid for us? Did He not have compassion with the Samaritan woman,the thief on the cross,the woman CAUGHT IN THE VERY ACT OF ADULTERY? Or did Jesus hammer them over the head with a Bible? Which is it?
 
The bread and butter of the homosexual activist is to verbally attack anyone that disagrees with them. The two fallacious argumentation tactics they employ, knowingly or unknowingly, are by engaging in ad hominem (e.g. portraying everyone who disagrees with them as a hateful, evil, and morally blighted people) and by building straw men fallacies (e.g. distorting the positions of people who disagree with them and then responding to positions they distorted rather than what was intended).

Feel free to recognize what terminallyCapricious is doing and disregard their logically fallacious and sinful personal attacks on your person and positions.

Stick to the facts and points of discussion. Don't return their evil with evil.

yes because God likes to kill random people when they aren't even involved in the situation at all... Oh the nation leader did something...guess illl destory this random town who probably has no idea why im unleashing such wrath on them

Seriously some of the personal interpretations of God being this way make me sick.

If every perverted immorality, no matter how immoral, is fought on the basis of "civil rights" by their requisite special interest groups: then the moral authority of the entire civil rights movement becomes disassociated from its original legitimate purpose and degraded in the societal conscience eventually perhaps to a point of no return.

What makes a homosexual activist's aspiration to overturn thousands of years of universally recognized morality and practice a "right"? Why should an institution designed for the reproduction of civil society and the rearing of children in a moral environment in which their interests are given first place be refashioned to accommodate selfish people who actively agitate to integrate around intrinsically non-marital perverted sexual conduct?

Homosexuals are not part of a caste system in which one race was relegated to conditions of social and economic inferiority. They are hijacking a movement designed to correct THAT for their own agenda.

God is not impressed by the political "successes" of a homosexual agenda even when most of a society is. Though they occur incrementally with most people not realizing calamity is at the end of the road; historically, there have always been very real and tangible consequences for a nation in moral decline and the U.S. is not going to be the exception to the rule.

God uses everybody for his good purpose
Sometimes people may even be used as an example for others of what not to do
1 Cor 10:10
And do not grumble, as some of them did--and were killed by the destroying angel.

Nautilus's War.

On one side we have little Nautilus made of flesh and blood using his best thinking to often side against God much like the heathen prophet Balaam once did.

On the other we have an omniscient, omnipotent, omnisapient, all holy, God who puts up with little Nautilus with love and long-suffering but as a truly holy being must judge little Nautilus someday for almost always siding against Him.

How does this end?

So destroying the town of Joplin Missouri because our leader wanted israel to return to its 67 borders is right? ill be honest the whole of that cause and effect has me dumbfounded that people believe it. but then to say if it was true the slaughter of people is right? Blows my mind.

However since God never sent us any official message of yes i did this because you did that, no one learned anything. Also its just two random events that happened near each other, ill let the crazies assign whatever fictional wrath scenarios they want to them.

Perhaps you should try asking the same thing about Christians, especially Christians who live in muslim countries or some places in Africa where the cut the limbs off of Christians to try and get them to deny their faith, and yet they don't.
 
Interestingly, the SCOTUS ruling has other ramifications beyond this issue. You realize it was based on proposition out of California passed by the people of the state via the ballot box which the attorney general of the state simply refused to argue!

This means the attorney general of the state of California said I don't care what the will of the people is. I make the laws here and the Supreme Court basically said fine.

Power shifted further away from the people into the hands of government bureaucrats with this ruling and few even noticed.

It certainly is a choice to act upon it. I am by nature prone to all sorts of depravity, but that doesn't mean must carry through every time I think about it. There are times I may want to do something, but that doesn't mean I have to do it.

What's more interesting, is that an amendment to the state constitution was declared unconstitutional via the state constitution. 2+2=m
