My mother got saved during a Billy Graham broadcast. She's a Godly woman. Thank God for evangelists and missionaries!

Even if Billy Graham was the devil himself, that doesn't mean people who heard the message of Christ crucified and repented because of it aren't saved. That's a ridiculous notion.

Sometimes I wonder how much envy is wrapped up in these type of 'exposeés.'

Very much so, there are whole "ministries" based on attacking other ministries. Did you know that after John MacArthur wrote on it's the dying not the bleeding: Talking about how it's the death of Christ, not the blood - and that when something refers to bleeding it's synonymous with death, there was a ministry created to attack his ministry, even a baptist denomination developed saying that there is a pool of Jesus' blood in heaven that cleanses of us of our sins and all sorts of stuff.

There are ministries who attack Ken Hamm from Answers in Genesis calling him "pope hamm"

Romans 14:4 Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

I wonder what exposing and damnation videos would appear had Christ and disciples been around today with today's technology. Exposing Paul would be gold for these people.

Billy Graham admitted that he wished he'd spend time discipling those who came to know Christ but to call him a tool of Satan...is a load of bollocks.
Ditto..............................

Some of the trip I read on this forum my mind just boggles at!

I think this represents what (I think it was) Paul that said about there always being people in the church that were basically the enemy posing as wolves in sheep's clothing, there only to kill and destroy the church itself. These guys are everywhere these days, and I do mean everywhere.

I watched the first video and all I heard was Billy Graham preaching the Bible and the message of salvation.

I also heard a lot of slander about the KJV and ecumenism. Not sure that ecumenism (not talking compromise here) and reading other Bibles besides the KJV makes you the anti-Christ!

I did not watch the other videos, because the first one was using scare techniques and ideas I do not agree with. Billy Graham was a great man, and I am sure on Judgment Day his passion for reaching the lost will give him more crowns than all the rest of us.

I guess he was preaching from Bible other than the 1611, so when he said things like "nosering" instead of facering and Passover instead of Easter, he was condemning people to following satan.

Funny they make these charges now and not when he was well enough to defend hiimself...or did they?..typical cowardly act if not.
If the Gospel goes forth on tv it is not worldly tvevangelism during that time. If the issue is his message we can stick to the specifics you think are in error and discuss them as a topic, but to rake the person over the coals when he can't defend himself is ...well...cowardly.
Sometimes I wonder how much envy is wrapped up in these type of 'exposeés.'
I wonder what is wrapped up in your "expose' " as well. Quite a pattern you have there.

Perhaps you should look at this short one. It doesn't have all the so-called "bashing" that some have mentioned.

It's funny how people get things stuck in their minds & believe it over God's word. Like this scripture:

John 15:18-19 (KJV)
[SUP]18 [/SUP]If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. [SUP]19 [/SUP]If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

[video=youtube;TLiW82SFPNM]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLiW82SFPNM[/video]

Luke 6:22 (KJV)
[SUP]22 [/SUP]Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

Mark 13:13 (KJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Matthew 24:9 (KJV)
[SUP]9 [/SUP]Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

HOW can someone be so loved by the world, contrary to scripture? Note all quotes are from Jesus Himself.

It is never a good thing to attack those who God has used to preach His word. Mr. Graham is not perfect. No man is perfect. He has been honest in his finances which a lot of modern mega church preachers may have difficulty claiming. Has he been too ecumenical? For my taste perhaps but he has taught that men must be saved to enter heaven. He has not done the best job of seeing to the discipleship of the converts he has made. That is something he will give account to God, him not me.
Paul gives admonition in 2 Tim 3:8-9 also Phil 1:14-18. We do well to approach these situations carefully.

I'm not a fan of MacArthur, but I appreciate his expose' .

John 14:6 (KJV)
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Billy Graham believes in Universalism, that is, there's more than one way to Heaven. Universalism will be one, if not "the" religion that will call the Antichrist their Messiah. This is a wake up call more than an expose'. This no different than Rick Warren promoting Chrislam.

Too bad you didn't watch the rest. It begins in the beginning of his ministry back in the '40's, going all the way up to now. It covers quotes from his biography, & shows video footage of some interviews. You guys should know me long enough by now to know I wont spread junk. I watched it all the way through, & found it very educational. He's a true forerunner of worldly televangelism. I wouldn't risk my salvation on advertising lies.
Why would you feel your salvation is threatened by this Stephen?
Who said that? I didnt. "I wouldn't risk my salvation on advertising lies." How did you get such meaning out of that? Perhaps more importantly, why?

That's what the Devil want you to believe Stephen63. Billy graham was a man of God. not a man of the Devil. But they do say that people are quick to point the finger, before they see the sin in there own lives. I'm sure there's a verse in the bible to that meaning too.
Judging by claiming hypocracy. Remember, You don't know the producer, Graham, or me at all.

I turned off after 4 mins after they mentioned about changing the words of the King James Bible. The video also started the same rehtoric which we hear CHosenbyhim spewing out, that you "must agree with us or live with the consequences of accepting lies."

Yes Billy may have gone off the rails later in life, but his early stuff is solid and can not be faulted, well unless you are a King James Only Cult member.
You watched 4min & came to your conclusion that the producer & I are KJV onlies?

Hmmm.Sounds like a bunch of cowards with sour grapes in their mouths. If he were well enough to defend his beliefs before them they could not counter him. Nothing worse than a coward...
You judged the producer & I are cowards

I would not watch gossip about a Christian, and I'll bet that is what this is. I'm ashamed of you. Does he tell of Jesus to take our sins to for forgiveness? Yes. Does he bring people to Christ? Yes. So what did Paul tell us to do? To build each other up, and we are told we can know each other by our love. We are not to stand in the way of other's convictions, not even on the day he chooses to worship. Those are basic orders.
You didn't watch it at all & judged me as a gossip & a shameful person

Why would you feel your salvation is threatened by this Stephen?
Your making a statement that I'm threatened by Graham...... like I'm hiding something.

The title sounds bad, I didn't watch it. I am tired of preachers getting bashed. The Holy Spirit will tell us what is right and
wrong:cool:
You also didn't watch it at all & judged the producer & me as bashers.

If the Gospel goes forth on tv it is not worldly tvevangelism during that time. If the issue is his message we can stick to the specifics you think are in error and discuss them as a topic, but to rake the person over the coals when he can't defend himself is ...well...cowardly.
You judged we raked Graham over the coals...... somewhat true.
Ephesians 5:11 (NASB) [SUP]11 [/SUP]Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them;

Sometimes I wonder how much envy is wrapped up in these type of 'exposeés.'
Casting doubt on us?

Yes, from the world but this from the Church. Poor form, if you ask me.
Do you recommend a better form?

I think this represents what (I think it was) Paul that said about there always being people in the church that were basically the enemy posing as wolves in sheep's clothing, there only to kill and destroy the church itself. These guys are everywhere these days, and I do mean everywhere.
The producer & I are wolves in sheep's clothing?

Notice here the multiple judgements. The question here isn't whether they're judgements, but whether they're righteous judgements?

I myself had made only this statement :
The Truth About Billy Graham. Throughout the series, history is quoted, video is quoted, & Graham's own biography is quoted. From your statements, NONE of you watched the whole series!

What could you quote in his defense? What do you really know about him? About as much as you do me? How well do you know me? The only things we can possibly know are facts & suppositions. Which ones do we know the most of?

maybe not orders more like responses to God in thankfulness to God for the remission of sin and to give us new life deeper and deeper as we continue to die to self deeper and deeper, become partakers over Imitators, giving all credit to God

I wonder what exposing and damnation videos would appear had Christ and disciples been around today with today's technology. Exposing Paul would be gold for these people.
people of the law tried and accused Paul of preaching a license to sin, because of the freedom they had been given in obeying in and through Faith. People of the Law persecute those freed from stress, and are partakers of Christ on the cross
Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
Hebrews 7:16 who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life.

yep and if he is not of God, yet preaches truth about God then a divided kingdom cannot stand, wait a minute it did stand hmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As Christ if they are preaching about him, leave them alone for a divided kingdom can't stand
