If you haven't been paying much attention lately, the public schools are about anything but Christianity. Everything related to God, the Bible, prayer, and Christianity has been forcibly kicked out of the schools.

On the other hand though, I can think of better ways to preach and warn people than at a gay and lesbian thing. I gotta say, if Satanists tried the same thing at a Christian function and I was there.............

The shirtless chubby man in the videotaped who “brutallybeat” a wholesome street preacher at the Seattle gay priced event – his name isJason Queree and he has a long history of such acts. He has been arrested 29 times since 1995, andconvicted or otherwise found against for nine felonies, including forgery,stolen property, unlawful firearm possession and theft, and 12 misdemeanors,including driving with a suspended license, vehicle prowl, domestic violence,assault, DUI and criminal trespass.

Oh…and he’s also a heterosexual.


Now I have a question for many of the posters in thisthread. Many of you took this incident asan opportunity to say some rather nasty and ugly things about homosexuals becauseit was just assumed that the chubby shirtless guy was gay.
Now that we all know he is a heterosexual are you willing tosay the same the same nasty and ugly things about straights?

This preacher suffered for the Name that is above all names doing what His Lord and my Lord commands His children to do. Are not homosexuals also in need of salvation or is that something to be reserved for "lesser" sins like murder, theft, adultery, and so on?

How many missionaries have sacrificed everything, even there own lives to bring the Word of God to a lost and hurting world. Should they have not "bothered" those people? Should they have left them to die in their sin and face judgement? To those seeming to applaud the actions of the people that beat this preacher, should we leave you to die in yours knowing full well what happens to a person still lost to sin?

You say this man of God shouldn't have bothered them. The Apostles bothered the Sanhedrin by preaching Jesus in the Temple courts, should they not have bothered the Sanhedrin too?

My response to such people comes strait from Scripture so if you have a problem with it, take it up with the Author of all Scripture: Acts 1:19 19 But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges!

Take a minute and think.

Put yourself in the shoes of an attendee of a pride event.

Are these “preachers” presenting a positive image?
Or are they presenting themselves as a bunch of angry hateful people carrying hurtfulsigns reminiscent of those carried by Westboro Baptist church and shouting and attackingyour friends and family?

The only thing protesting preachers at pride events do is alienatepeople and reinforce the stereotype that conservative Christians are angry,hateful and dangerous.

What you call "protesting" has another word, ministering. Can you tell me for a fact that there was not one single person at that event that was not ripe to hear the Word of God? Can you say that no one there was not implanted with the seeds that could one day grow to be a rich and vibrant relationship with Christ. No you can't. I can not say that is did happen either. However, for the chance that just one person could one day, even if i never directly saw them and will never meet thing on earth, I would gladly face that same mob that was so filled with hate that instead of simply ignoring the preacher, chose to take the law into their own hands and brutally attack men doing nothing more that following the commands of God and exercising their free speech rights.

Homosexuals and other such groups showed up to protest at "The Response" event in Texas. They spoke their opinions about the event but their presence was not wanted at this event and had nothing to do with them. Homosexuality was not even on the roster for discussion but only to lead people in prayer for a nation under attack by its own government. By your reasoning those Christians should have exited the building and beat those protester's in the same manner.

What would your response have been if that happened? Would you be defending the Christians? According to your previous posts the truthful answer would be no. You would be vilifying the Christians as you are supporting the Homosexuals. If the actions of the Homosexuals where acceptable to you then like action from any other group should also be acceptable.
