Its actually said, that atheist chooses to believe there is no God. They "will" not to believe. In doing so they assert themselves as God because to say there is no God is to be extremely arrogant and prideful. Why? Because it would mean that you have searched all the galaxies, everywhere, behind and in everything in the entire universe to be able to say for sure, with your data cross checked, that there is no God. What an atheist should say is that they choose not to believe.
And by your logic, your also choosing not to believe in Zeus, Wotang or Thor etc. have you looked everywhere in the universe for these gods? Looked under every stone?

No.

I don't need to look everywhere throughout the universe. God looked for me, even when I was not looking for Him. I hope you find this out someday soon.

And btw, Zeus or Thor never introduced themselves to me.

Haha! I just had a vision of you waking up in the middle of the night to see a half naked man with a helmet on, carrying hammer trying to introduce himself to you.

The atheist says "there is no God, and I hate Him" notice no one ever gets upset at Unicorns, or fairies saying "this is why the world is this way - fairies"

Sure, I looked. I looked at the life of every people who live with these Gods. Then I looked at the people in my neighborhood who live apart from the God I know, I looked for that quiet contented joy in them. I found it in one girl who said she had no God, but her Grandmother did and she copied how she lived, but usually I found they lived with the true God.

I still couldn't understand what He was saying in his word, but I kept reading a chapter at a time. Gobbely Gook. One day at 8:12 PM (I looked at the clock) something happened in my mind so it made sense. I have heard of others tell of things like this who know the true God, but never from Gods who were made up by men.

Then I followed the instructions given in His book by Job, how to look at nature and wonder. I did that. It led me to wanting to be connected with the power that can do all that, I found this power explained in His book.

To a person with a renewed mind zeus wotang or thor are revealed as to their true nature. I don't need to look under every stone for them for I know where their portrayed persona comes from and its very easy to locate.

You rejected Him and His Word. Then you wonder why He's speaking to me but not you. Obviously, you're not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Atheists love to scream and shout
They don't know what life's about
They don't have brains in their heads
But say they'll rule the world some day

Look, if god has a problem with how I live my life, then how about HE tells me, and not you. Yeah?

I answered him logically and offered what I thought was a funny little poem for levity.

The rest is your false interpretation and projecting of your own feelings and negative thinking into my simple reply.

You can choose to interpret what people say more accurately and also in a more positive way. That way you're not distorting what other people say and spinning it as negatively as you possibly can like you've done here today.

Go ahead smile. It might do you someone like yourself good. Also, you can learn to spell words correctly and build better sentences. Language is a skill.

Good and bad are just temporary constructs of convenience in atheism that have no ultimate meaningfulness. For what ultimate meaningfulness can good and bad have in a dead universe, void of life, where even atoms won't be able to form or hold together in the not too distant future as space expands. Fortunately, atheism is a false portrayal of reality. Nature is embedded in supernature a schema consisting of both natural and supernatural dimensions. It is because God exists that good and bad are ultimately meaningful.

Just because a person is an atheist doesn't make them a bad person? What does that make them? A good person?

Peace be with you, are you a believer of the New Covenant of the MESSIAH? The answers are all there. Why are you in blindness looking for an answer? Can we convince you or force feed you when the Holy Scripture of the Holy Bible is not in you? This is because you have not continued with CHRIST of the New Covenant. You are so proud and wise in your thinking towards unbelievers. How can we help you??????????

With atheistic and agnostic thoughts, it would be ridiculous to live a life happy, thinking there is no love far out there in one creator. What's the risk of being a Christian? You don't lose anything or put yourself at risk for believing, but not believing might make you lose everything.

And I mean by when the end comes after you die.

I always wonder why this kind of post isn't asked in an atheist forum. Then I see how many atheists answer back, and I am encouraged that they are paying attention, and pray that God will save them, just as he saved me.

I became an atheist in my teens. I did not believe in a god of any sort, and sadly, lived my life in a very wrong way. Now, I am not saying an atheist cannot be ethical, but I used it as an excuse for indulgence.

Which brings us to the point, that there is a difference between being a good person and an ethical person. The Bible tells us that no one is good except God alone.

"And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone." Mark 10:18

I think any honest atheist will admit he does not live his life perfectly. In order to be truly good, you must NEVER make a mistake or hurt anyone or think so much as a bad thought.

But living ethically is another issue. Trouble is, without the foundation of the Bible, ethics can become a slippery, twisting slope. You can learn to justify many things, and if "the end justifies the means" is your ethical belief, then you are at an impasse with Christianity.

But back to my testimony. In my early 20's I began to realize I did not know everything, and decided that maybe there was a god or maybe there wasn't. So I became agnostic. But that made me curious, so I started searching through all the religions of the world. I even looked seriously at Egyptian mythology, but those gods failed to talk to me. So did Allah, and the God of the Hindus, the Sikhs, and the New Age movement. It started to get scary, some of the weird practices I saw and heard about.

So I decided to read the Bible, out of respect for my grandmother, who was a Christian. I did not find God there! He found ME!!

So my thought to all the atheists on this thread is try reading the book of John in the Bible. Then keep reading the gospels, the Psalms and see if God finds you.

Paul preached in Athens to the atheist philosophers on the Acropolis (Mars Hill). He recommended that these philosophers should seek God, as he is not far from each one of us.

"And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, [SUP]27 [/SUP]that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, [SUP]28 [/SUP]for“‘In him we live and move and have our being’;

as even some of your own poets have said,
“‘For we are indeed his offspring.’

[SUP]29 [/SUP]Being then God's offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man." Acts. 17:26-29

Sadly, most of these intellects did not want to know more. But Christianity still spread like wild fire, despite the resistance of the atheists of that day.

As for how an atheist lives without God, it continues to be a huge mystery to me. Perhaps they just have not through the consequences of a life empty of God and a future with Christ.

Nothing is different. Our lives are exactly the same. The same bad/good stuff happens to atheists and Christians alike. We fall in love, we have children, we suffer loss of loved ones. We have jobs, we have financial burden and family troubles.

Our lives are no different.

Go back to the time of the plague. The bishop at the time was confused as to why the same amount of believers were dying as the non believers. Same as there is no difference for any hardships that may come our way. We will either survive or die. Regardless of our beliefs.

The only difference between is you don't believe in 10,000 gods. And I don't believe in 10,001.

Aside from that our lives are identical.
