That scripture doesn't make it okay for you to keep another day as Sabbath...lol,,, why would you even think that?

Can you find anyplace in scripture where Paul taught that we are to keep another day as the Sabbath? No,,, He taught the Jew that Jesus was the Crucified Messiah.....That was more than they could believe...Can you imagine if Paul taught that the 4th Commandment was void! No Sabbath Command! They would have killed Paul immediately.

I find it amazing that you believe God would alter His law,, after all His SON suffered on a Cross!!!!

If God was going to up and change His law,,, why didn't He do it before His Son came and suffered at the hands of evil men?

Makes no sense... God isn't gonna change His 10 Commandments. Not a jot nor a tittle.
How do you know that I didn't convince myself that Sunday isn't the 7th day? How do you know if my calendar Saturday isnt the last day of the week, my personal calendar might end on a Sunday, making it the 7th day. See you don't look at in perspective. Second you yourself don't follow the correct day of rest from the time of God in genesis. Augustine, Gregory, and them changed days, weeks, and months off the original course in time, to make it as accurate as possible. So even if you tried standing on your own point of Friday evening to Saturday evening for a complete sabbath, you technically are mistaken. Either your a seven day Adventist or you to picky to admit days don't matter. If one man esteems Sunday as the 7th day, what will you say knowing our real time has been manipulated all over history....

2 Facts:

The Jew has always kept the the 7th day as the Sabbath. They still do even to this day.

The Church of Rome admits to changing Gods Sabbath from the 7th day to the 1st. It's documented.

You are decieving yourself to believe that the 4th command says: "Y'all pick youans outcha a day,, any ol day, it don't matter, and call it yer sabbath",,, no, no. the 4th Commandment says the 7th Day is the Sabbath.

There is scripture that pertains to your argument:

" It is time for You to act O Lord, for they have regarded Your law as void." Psalm 119:126

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days - Colossians 2:16-17.

Whether I set aside Sunday or Saturday is not up to you. For the Son of man is Lord of the Sabbath.
And what it really says here is to not let anyone judge you for KEEPING the Sabbath. It does NOT say it doesn't matter which day you keep.

Do you really believe that?!?!?! Jews always KEPT the SABBATH??? Read the entire tanakh all over again, take time to observe. By the way it wasn't just Rome, it was numerous places (Babylonians Germanic to western clock tower Egypt coaster corruption)

I do not view work here on this earth as work, whether I work or not.
I do. When my boss gives me a deadline for a design, whether it be a pump and piping system or as simple as a structural platform, it is work and my employer expects it done.

And what happened when they did not keep the Sabbath?

Jer 17:27 But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.

Also Ezekiel 20 is a good read here, idolatry and Sabbath breaking were the two primary offences that caused Israel to go into captivity.

Briancampbell,

re: "Augustine, Gregory, and them changed days, weeks, and months off the original course in time, to make it as accurate as possible... what will you say knowing our real time has been manipulated all over history...."

The "Catholic Encyclopedia", Vol. 3, p. 740, article˜Chronology™" says: "It is to be noted that in the Christian period, the order of days in the week has never been interrupted". That would include the first day of the week as well as the Sabbath.

If you have documentation or know of any that shows that the seven day cycle has been interrupted at some point between now and the first century I would very much like to see it.

So I'm breaking the law because I consider Sunday my 7th day...look I use to follow the Shabbat on Saturday, but realizing it doesn't matter out doesn't matter if I esteem Sunday as my 7th day....

You can call it a space shuttle if you want to, but only God can sanctify a day and make it holy. Although there is a man who is coming who will think to do so...

Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

There is only one Law that is about time...

Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

If you want to think God is inept,, go right ahead. you will never, ever get me to believe that any other day than the 7th day is the Sabbath.

Jesus kept the 7th Day Sabbath!!!!! Luke 4:16! Are you gonna sit here and tell me Jesus was in error as to which day the 7th Day was? lololololol

This conversation is getting stupid,, when you attempt to tell me that Jesus didn't know the 1st day from the 7th......Are you so self deluded that you actually believe that Jesus, the Son of God,,,,didn't have a clue to which day His own Commandment fell on? Did Jesus become confused and forget His own Sabbath????????

Do you realize how rediculous your claim is?

When will you learn the moral of God's purpose...It's about what and how you do it, not what day it should be on. I think God now it's more concerned not what day it is, but if your even santifying it. You can go do your little Shabbat on a Saturday...Just don't judge me for going to services and resting on a Sunday...

Briancampbell,

re: "Don't give me information from a website that says the crusades happened because Muslims were killing Christians....for no reason"

Huh? What has that got to do with providing documentation that shows that the 7 day weekly cycle has been interupted between the 1st century and now?
