"Remember the sabbath day and keep it holy"
"If you love me keep my commandmenys"
"Many say they know me but their actions are aganist me"
"On judgement day the book of laws was opened and people were judged according to what is in it"

MY QUESTION IS WHY ARE PEOPLE REJECTING THE LORDS WILL. WE CARRY OUR BAGS AND SAY WE ARE GOING TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY. SATURDAY HAS NOW BECOME A DAY OF PARTING AND SOCIAL EVENS. WHY? Someone please answer.

I worship him every day, and I'm not going to apologise for that.

Matthew 15:8-9 (KJV)
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Settle this scripture in your heart, friend.
Colossians 2:16
So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths.

Because Jesus rose on Sunday, in which validifies everything Jesus said and did. It is in that the I recognize it's meaning and it is in that where I find my Sabbath rest. Therefore my Sabbath is every day in which I live unto God and in relationship with Him through Jesus Christ, and Sunday is just a day in which I celebrate that with other believers, which is also called the Lord's day.

But worshipping on a day you wish will be disobedience to his word be cause he said worship me on my sabbath day
Deu 12:30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
Deu 12:31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
Deu 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

And lest you think this is only for the O.C. and O.T., let's see...

Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Uh, lemme see here...

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

So, let me ask, does it matter?

I'd be very careful in saying that, for there are different sects of SDA who don't hold too all of Ellen Whites teaching. Only God can see the genuineness of a person's heart and their love for Christ as well. But saying that Ellen White is false prophet is something I can agree with.

Uh, not an SDA here but lemme ask this, was Paul?

Act 17:2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

Hmmm, here is Paul in a Gentile city, teaching Gentiles on the Sabbath. Why didn't he break the news to them about Sunday? Because there was no news to break.

Yeah, Christ was one of those who was not an SDA but kept the Sabbath...

Luk 4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

This what the bible says:

This passage is very clear to all but the spiritually blind. We are free to worship on any day we see fit. Those who say this is not so are in disagreement with this scripture.
Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

This passage is clear, it plainly says not to let anyone judge you for KEEPING the Sabbath. Explain to me how it says any day is OK. Now where in this passage does it say any day will do?

Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
This verse in Hebrew is true and talking about Christ's attributes, not His dealings with peoples in various times or ages. God's redemptive revelation in His word has always been about HIM, Christ, from the shadows that pointed to Him and the reality that we have in Him now in which the NT and new covenant focuses on.

The customs where not laid to rest until Christ's death on the cross and the final nail in the coffin was the destruction of the earthly temple. It's about Christ, not our earthly customs.

Paul didn't go there to worship, he went there to preach the gospel and the new way, as it says in the text. These gentiles where interested in Jewish customs and of God, gentile truth seekers you might say. Can you think of a better place Paul could go and preach to a multitude that already had some background in the OT?

You're either being disingenuous or sloppy. The previous verse says that he went to a synagogue, and that is when the Jews met.

If you are going to keep the jewish law, you must do so completely, not partially.

So if you want to keep the Sabbath, then you must also obey all 613 mitzvot (laws). This means:
You can not wear clothing of mixed fibers.
No sex during a woman's cycle.
Single women who have been raped, must marry the rapist.
You must not charge any interest on loans.
To not work for a full year during the year of Jubilee.
Release all loans, once every seven years.
Gentiles must never enter your home and vice versa.
Only eat kosher meats.
Never bow down on smooth stone to pray.
Never make a human form.
Never make a promise with an idolator.
Men must not shave the sides of thier hair.
Women must not wear men's clothing.
Install a mezuzah on all door posts in your house.

...and all the rest of the law.

So if you wear pants or clothes made of a blended fiber than you are not keeping the law. It is very silly to keep only a part of the law.
The idea that you are free to break any law because you can't keep them all is not God type thinking.

You are born in sin, you have a sinful nature and have since Adam and Eve learned of sin. They needed Christ from that day, and you to too. They had to use the blood of animals, you use the blood of Christ. But you are not free to sin willingly because of that. To say you are free to sin all you want because you sin in spite of yourself anyway so need Christ anyway is such demon kind of thinking it makes me shudder.
