please post here when you last sinned.
i assume you haven't sinned since conversion.

testify!;)

Everyday I sin; but nothing to repent over; the Lords prayer covers my sins most of the time.

Last time I was in need of repentance? last time I talked with you lol.

I sinned not just five minutes ago, I stole a piece of cake when I am diebetic. It's a good thing we have such a kind loving and forgiving god. I require to repent all day every day and trust me i am led to do so.

Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.

The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.

Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.

I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.

Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

Praise the Holy Lord for His Love saves completely.

Father, let thou love FILL (be perfected in) Zone, and Lord let her into You, Amen!

I sinned not long ago when I judged someone for being overly judgmental/legalistic (not the biblical kind).

i am not perfect, so im breaking jesus command "be perfect"

Ps 139: 23-24
Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!

And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting!

I s'pose I am/could be sinning right this minute.
Thank God for the conviction of the Holy Spirit, and the forgiveness provided by the Lord Jesus. ♥

This thread is disappointing to see Zone.

If a man comes and states since conversion he is without sin, are you going to ridicule him?

May no one sing to your tune here for your sake, lest you take to accusing.

Let GOD be the judge.

Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.

I pray the LORD that I not only run the race, but WIN IT....

Anyone who thinks they are without sin simply doesn't understand how vile and wretched they really are. Being blameless and sinless are two very different things. It is to GOD's glory that he looks beyond our iniquity and wretchedness, and clothes us with his righteousness in love and calls us blameless.

He not only needs to be ridiculed, but severely rebuked. There is really no higher form of ungodliness IMO. Pride is the ultimate expression of evil.

Sometimes being perfect means submitting to the suffering and discipline that GOD is using to perfect us.

Consider it all joy, my brothers, whenever you encounter various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4

So Jesus is still vile and wretched? WOW! And God is blind and looks BEYOND our iniquity? WOW! Wonder if God can do something about sin... Like maybe take a sinner, give him a new heart and a NEW Holy Spirit, to NOT SIN EVER AGAIN... Wonder if God can do that, instead of putting on sleep muffs not to see sin...

Fotunately herosefromthedead contradicted himself within 9 minutes. If God makes a person blameless, God also KEEPS the person sinless and blameless. God says HE will ensure we walk in HIS statutes... Holiness is not a sinners way, and sin is not the Holy Way... As simple as that...

Here is how God puts it in HIS TRUTH...'
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1Jn 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

You're blind and in denial Cobus. You live in a corrupt body with a filthy mind. You're not Jesus; quit pretending you are.

GOD did do something about sin. He gave you a new sinless spirit in heaven; and he chooses to look beyond the ungodly, iniquitous nature of your flesh when you abide in that spirit through faith. It's called grace.

You're simply not credible when you go into denial about your own wretchedness, blindness, poverty, and nakedness.

And quit bearing false witness about 1 John 3:8-10

I sin everyday by just living in this sinful body, no wonder it doesn't make it into heaven.

I would like to add my five pennyworth to this discussion, I apologies if what I say has been said but as far as sin goes, if it is wrong to you it is a sin. If it is not wrong to you it is not a sin. If what you do offends someone in Christ then don't do it for them to see. When we have the Holy Spirit God lives in us, God cant be anywhere near sin so sin can not live in us.
I am not going to express what Paul said about sin living in us but I am convinced that through Jesus and what He did on the cross, that the ten commandments then become ten promises. It may not seem like it but that may have something to do with our understanding of who we are in Christ.
We all have a thorn in the side as Paul did, this served to keep his feet on the ground as it should with us, reminding us that only through faith we are saved and not through what we do, feel, or how we act.
But before you all jump on me saying yes it dose matter how we act, let commonsense prevail as I point back to what I said before, the "ten promises".
God is bigger than me, or you. Jesus has a name above every name including 'sin', I have accepted his sacrifice on the cross as a covering for my sin and I believe he has taken and still takes my sin and throws it in to the deepest part of the sea never to be seen again. This dose not mean I cannot sin it just means that in his sight I am covered with his grace, Bless Him, and when He looks at me he dose not see me in my wretchedness but clothed in the righteousness of Christ. This is the good news of the Gospel.
PS please read the ten commandments and turn them into promises, God is good.

Romans 6

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13Neither yield ye your members asinstruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members asinstruments of righteousness unto God. 14For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 16Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? 17But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.18Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. 19I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.20For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. 21What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. 22But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

If a man obey from the heart the doctrine delivered to him, he is made free from sin.

Becoming a servant of GOD.
