Vic you have it, but I know the whole world lieth in wicketness, but so do I my friend. HOW DO WE GET OUT OF THE WICKETNESS?

I am a sinner and needs God's Love to save me.. so how do I put up the hand and say.... HERE LORD PLEASE SAVE THIS SINNER AND WRECHET MAN I AM.

Kerry tell me now... Can your God save me from sin? I mean SAVE me from SIN... that means He can do something, that I can love myself, and my neighbour as myself, and HIM ABOVE ALL. And in that love there HAVE TO BE NO SIN.... Can your God do that? If not let me introduce you to one that can... He did not do it for me yet, but He did start, and He says HE WILL COMPLETE....

If you will willingly die with Christ at the cross, God will co-crucify your flesh with his Son Jesus, and as Paul said in phil. 3 to be conformed to his death, you may know Christ the power of the resurrection. Your choice God is waiting, free choice!!!!!!!!!
Philippians 3:10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

I will give you a scripture that is the process I followed...

Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent (means to quit sinning, quit breaking God's Law), and be baptized (full immersion in water) every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission (forgiveness and removal) of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Now what process did you follow?
again i will ask you the question how did YOU receive YOUR salvation, directly to you it's a personal question, please share the testimony.

A wiser man said... I send thee to them that they OPEN their eyes and to TURN THEM FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT, from the power of SAtan unto GOD! As long as a person sin he is in the power of SATAN!!!!

God says His is righteous as HE IS RIGHTEOUS... that is WITHOUT SIN, ANY SIN...

Oh Josh I was one of the biggest adulterers EVER, well by far the biggest I know, but GOd REMOVED it from me... So far as the East is from the West. I CANNOT get excited but by one woman.... My wife. If you want i can share the method God removed it from me, but just believe me on this... IF GOD REMOVES IT, IT IS GONE FOR GOOD!

So if you have that evil in you to lust after what God did not give you, ASK AND REPENT.... And God will REMOVE SIN FROM YOU, FOREVER.... He does not want you to sin, and if you also do not want too, what can stop God from completely ISOLATE you IN HIM, so much that the wicket one CANNOT touch you...

God is truly a God that knows how to DELIVER the righteous from all evil, and to save the offendrs for hell....
honestly brother as we grow more with jesus in us we learn not to sin anymore

@ john832 in other words what supernatural events took place that made you miraculously change and reformed your mind, still waiting to hear that testimony

So,,you also believe that when God said " six days you shalt labor and do all they work.." you think God meant no sleeping, no eating,, no bathroom break. just straight working,, even if there is no work. no jobs.

Grandpa,, if you beleive that..you go ahead and continue to beleive that.. I cannot help you..... believe as you desire...

But,, while you and josh believe that God meant for man to constantly work six straight days with not even a break to eat or relief yourself,,,, try to remember this Scripture that Contradicts your sensless belief...

"..for your law is my delight." Psalm 119:77

Why do you make the Law of God a burden? It shouldn't be.

Who said anything about bathroom break or sleep? Six days. Not six days and nights with no breaks. Six days you shall labor. That is the Letter of the Law. The one you point to.

Do you read what the Lord Jesus says about the 10 Commandments in Matthew 5? He says Be Perfect as your Father in Heaven is Perfect. That is following the letter of the Law.

If you're going to point to the letter of the law then lets understand what it is saying. Lets look at what Jesus says.

If you want to look at how the law is a delight we can talk about that too. But lets not confuse the first issue, which is the letter of the law and what it says.

but hey the sabbath keepers only believe in the 10 commandments so how can they believe on this one " And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. 1 John 3:23 how can they receive their salvation then and know the will of god? now i know what they gonna say now " when jesus died i receive my salvation " this is so true but we don't receive it until we BELIEVE that in our HEART through FAITH.

If God has received them then God is the one that gets us to stand. Is it not God that got you to stand. So:
[h=3]Romans 14[/h]King James Version (KJV)

14 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

So you see what you see and have received the Love of God, that you are growing unto as God shows you truth, and is doing the same for all that believe.
So here is God saying to us all:
Luke 8:14
Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.

Do we not all here desire Maturity:
Hebrews 6:1 [ The Peril of Not Progressing ] Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,

Hebrews 6:3 And this we will do if God permits.

Ask God all of us to mature each of us, and I know God will, to all those that believe. Do you as well? watch out fro Dogmatics that get in the way of truth from God to us all. Causing divisions as has been caused over the years that Paul said do not have and we do. Shame on me, I love you all because God first loved me.

impossible, only the spirit can and when we receive the baptism of holy spirt.. you see the only way to know god is to receive him and how can anyone know god without receiving him? exactly. if anyone trying to do that in the flesh it's just forms of godliness

And let those that are going about this way as you see are and I do to. I did for a long time before I came to the end of the energy of my own flesh. You too? so lets not have divisions. It is better that one or many are trying, having a baptism of repentance wanting to know and serve the living God, it leads to receive the Holy Spirit Baptism for it is God that does this
[h=3]Philippians 2:12-13[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[h=3]Light Bearers[/h][SUP]12 [/SUP]Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; [SUP]13 [/SUP]for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

that's what i'm trying to show/tell them...1 John 3:23 23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. but instead of following this commandment and receive the spirit they follow the other one and neglect it.

I know, yet be careful of flesh getting in the way and war of the fleshes fight?
So instead ask God
[h=3]Matthew 10:16-20[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]16 [/SUP]Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
[SUP]18 [/SUP]And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
[SUP]20[/SUP]For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Sometimes we can be so convinced that this is what we are doing is trusting in God through us to do the talking. And we can get so desirous to bring home the point that we get sidetracked and others get angry, upset, and this takes occasion by the commanding of each other, exemplified from our want so bad
Such as child is lost and we find them after hours of searching for them, concerned for their well being. we thus if we are mad and show this by being mad at them for not contacting us, telling them do you know how worried I have been.

Instead of I am so happy you are safe, and then communicate how do we stop this in the future, this is communicating in God's way of Love. Getting on the construction crew, in place of the dismantling crew as what flesh does, argues and never considers another's story as they see things.

1) I'm saved by the mercy and grace of Jesus' life, death and resurrection. Nothing else. My continued belief and faith in that assures my salvation. Nothing else.

So what do I do now? Love God with everything I have in me. How? John 14:15 "“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments."

Can I do it perfectly? Nope. God is the ONLY one who can love perfectly.

Does that mean I should not even try? I hope not.

For all of the married folks in here: Do you love your spouse? Of course you do. (If you don't, we need to talk about that
;)) Are you always successful? Probably not. Is there still a love there between the 2 of you even when you do? I hope so. But when you don't, you miss out on some of the closeness you could feel in your relationship at that moment. But it doesn't mean you're going to get a divorce.

Do I "HAVE TO" obey any of God's commandments? Depends on why you say I "HAVE to".

Do I have to for my salvation? No.
Should I try to show Him that I love Him? Yes.
Do I have to all the time 100% perfectly to show that I love Him? No.
Do I dishonor Him when I choose not to show Him that I love Him? Yes.
Should I still try anyway to show Him I love Him on daily basis in a practical way? Yes.

How do I do that?

John 14:15 "“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments."

So:
1 Corinthians 12:31 But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.

[h=3]1 Corinthians 13:4-13[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]4 [/SUP]Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; [SUP]5 [/SUP]does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; [SUP]6 [/SUP]does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; [SUP]7 [/SUP]bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. [SUP]9 [/SUP]For we know in part and we prophesy in part. [SUP]10 [/SUP]But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. [SUP]12 [/SUP]For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

The interesting thing about all this is that we who are Commandments keepers, who understand the love of God in them and the patience of God and the forgiveness of God, are called Pharisees by those who say such remarkably burdensome, Pharisaical things.

I find it very ironic.

No I see and if what you say is truth to you and are not as the Pharisees that did the below, then my hat goes off to you and thank God for your desire be one with God and I know God then has accepted you, and know God is not only to make you stand but all God has received God is able, we are not!! Thanks
Matthew 23:15 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.

Read Matthew 5 commandment keepers and tell me which one of you is perfect like my Father in Heaven is Perfect?

Thank you for giving me the understanding of your Love and patience and forgiveness by my commandment keeping. Thank you for showing me that commandment keeping is the way to your heart, o god. Oh how easy and delightful is my perfect commandment keeping lord. I am so glad I am not like those sinners over there who have no understanding and don't keep your Perfect Law like I do.

o how ironic.

Josh,, what's wrong with you.. Can you not chew gum and walk at the same time?

Why can't you keep the 10 Commandments as well as have faith in Jesus,, as rev 14:12 tells you?

Why can't you understand that keeping Gods 10 Commandments takes care of loving your neighbor and one another as well as Honoring God..

It's as if you are limited to knowing one single concept,,, and if another is added,, you are tossed into confusion.

Josh,, what would you have done,, if you lived at the time period of Jesus? I tell you what you would have done.....You would have been stuck on the 10 Commandments only,, and Jesus would have been rejected because He would have been a new teaching to you,,, and no way you would deviate from keeping the 10 commands....

but, because you live now,,, you have faith in jesus, but don't know the law.

We are to have two components: Keeping Gods Commandments & Having faith that Jesus is Messiah.

The Jew (judaism) keeps the Commandments of God,, but,, they have no faith that Jesus is Messiah.

The Christians, have faith in Jesus,, but do not keep His Commandments. i.e. Sabbath!

The last day Saint will have both,,, he will keep the Commandments of God as well as have faith that Jesus is indeed the Messiah.

Jesus taught before he went to the cross, the impossibility of being able to obey the whole Law and the disciple being perplexed in doing their best to uphold the Ten Commandments got Annihilated, condemned and saw the things Christ said while being under Law such as
Matthew 5:30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

and there are scripture about gouging out one's eye as well. Now where the disciples finally asked Christ, after finally watching a rich man walking away sadly, not able to give up worldly riches said to Christ
[h=3]Matthew 19:25-26[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]25 [/SUP]When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”
[SUP]26 [/SUP]But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

The Faith and Grace folks who say this amaze me. We, who are accused of salvation by works, believe this...

Php 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

And are accused of works and no faith.

Never ceases to amaze me.

Yes, this is what I also continually see. And the funniest part is that it seems to be aimed strictly at those that believe ALL the commandments should be kept, as in-- Oh No!-- the sabbath law as well! You can keep all those others and no one has a problem with that. Clearly then, your belief system is based on grace! But you keep the sabbath law on the 7th day of the week? Suddenly, you base your beliefs on works strictly, not grace. Hahahahahaha......

Who said anything about bathroom break or sleep? Six days. Not six days and nights with no breaks. Six days you shall labor. That is the Letter of the Law. The one you point to.

You are a confused person. you and josh are both decieved.

You two people,,, are the first two people that I ever ran across, that believes Gods 4th Commandment means from the time the sun comes to the time the sun goes down,, one must be steady working for the the first 6 days of the week..... Time to lean, time to clean eh...

What more can a person say to someone like you? You are a lost pup. You and josh are as decieved as anybody i have ever seen in my life. You both have to be completely out of your minds and posessed to believe that God intended that man is work constantly from the time the sun comes up to it's going down six days a week, all of his life....

Tell me,,, why aren't you two scholars down at the hospital making people get out of those hospital beds and get to work?

Why aren't you explaining to a man that is paralyzed that because he can't work during the day,, he is sinning.

How about the person the works 3rd shift? Isn't he sinning,, when he goes home and sleeps during the daylight hours?

Need I express the ignorance of your theology anymore?

Perhaps I'm wrong,, but your reply to shiloah, suggests that she is in some type of bondage and she fails to see it. If you are suggesting that,, then you are the confused one. Not Shiloah!

Homward,, commit,,, quit dancing... Stop the spin!

No sir, not what said, I said if one is in bondage, I can't decide that for anyone but me, between God and I.
Just food for thought. For I do not think anyone here is not wanting to not serve God, and God did come to set us free did God not? So brother if you are free, then I say Hallelujah, if not maybe you might want to take a look at the truth that you believe to be true, and if not free in it, then between God and you, you might want to rethink it.
Your choice, not mine all in Love to you

The Faith and Grace folks who say this amaze me. We, who are accused of salvation by works, believe this...

Php 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Never ceases to amaze me.

I only said what flesh does, I did not accuse anyone of walking in the flesh. Why you took it this way, I do not know.
It is true is it not the today the war is between Flesh and Spirit one contrary to the other

  1. Galatians 5:16
[ Walking in the Spirit ] I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
  2. Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

No sir, not what said, I said if one is in bondage, I can't decide that for anyone but me, between God and I.

It seems to me,, that you're idea of bondage is Obeying God by keeping His Commandments.

Isn't that what the subject content is about?

To me Homward,, you are hard to pin down.. You like to post scripture,, and then leave one to guess what we think you mean.

I like to speak clear and plain....

Anybody can confuse another person, by all this flesh and spirit babble.

If you don't think we are to keep Gods 10 commandments,, then say so,,, if not,, declare that also...

I understand almost everybody's position with one of those exceptions being,, you.

I dont know what you believe.. Everytime you sound off, it's a flesh/spirit speech,, followed by scripture with no summary of your position.

Sorry Homward,, I love ya,, but you're position is confusing,, to say the least.

Read Matthew 5 commandment keepers and tell me which one of you is perfect like my Father in Heaven is Perfect?

hehe, funny thing is they can't keep the 10 commandments perfectly and want us too but hey they are perfect so i'm sure they work 6 days a week straight since they realise that this is the commandment that we must keep, i'm sure theykeep everything perfectly exact :D

Now what process did you follow?

mine by the free gift of God, being Baptized by the Holy Ghost with fire, by the resurrected Christ

John 1:33 I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’

Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Now when did water Baptism end and the Holy Ghost Baptism and with fire take over

[h=3]Acts 1:5[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]5 [/SUP]for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

Holy Ghost Baptism began at Pentecost, and Water Baptism carried on when it actually is over yet is a good conscious towards God to be that way, yet is used for membership into churches. When in truth there is only one Baptism.

Ephesians 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism;

One place of worship too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[h=3]Hebrews 8[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[h=3]The New Priestly Service[/h]8 Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, [SUP]2 [/SUP]a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man.

Not saved by flesh or earthly sanctuary. Saved by God in the Holy Spirit of God through the same resurrected Christ.

hehe, funny thing is they can't keep the 10 commandments perfectly and want us too but hey they are perfect so i'm sure they work 6 days a week straight since they realise that this is the commandment that we must keep, i'm sure theykeep everything perfectly exact :D

josh,, you are silly to believe God intended man to grab a shovel and start digging from the time the sun comes up til the time the sun goes down..if that man is a ditch-digger.

Surely you see your error,,,No?

How about this: "Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only thou shalt serve."

Does that mean,, you mustn't Serve anybody up somthing to eat... or if your dad asks for a drink of water,, you can't help him, because only the Lord are you to Serve?????

I've spoken with 1st graders that have more biblical sense than what you and granpa have displayed here.. How sad.
