Someone in the chatroom chastised me for calling them a conspiracy theorist once.

I guess I coulda said wacked out nutjob.

Just a fyi, hyperbole does not make an internet site a valid information source. If your factual source is anything but cut and dried facts, its highly likely to be propaganda.

Conspiracy sites do two things...they instill apathy by creating world wide secret societies that no one can do anything about.

Number two....they salve the egos of those who think they know something others do not.

Someone in the chatroom chastised me for calling them a conspiracy theorist once. Oh no?!?

I guess I coulda said wacked out nutjob. Yea, that would have been pithy.

Number two....they salve the egos of those who think they know something others do not. Bingo!!!!

You know so much by just judging.
You do well by accepting the whale of news produced by five corporations(90%), and denying any other minnow of information.
In that your spirit does not resemble those who would take a mark.
Well done in exercising judgement.

Judging.... 1 Cor 5:12

News....I have watched the news maybe?...three times since 9/11? Maybe. Its not new and seldom is it the reporting of facts.

As a saved person it is impossible for me to take the mark

Then you are bereft of any facts whatsoever.
I can't imagine how you could judge so swiftly in post #21 then.
Seems to me that you are presuming immeasurably.

okay, but i heard from an expert on these matters that there was one conspiracy in the history of world - Watergate

was it a real conspiracy?
or is that still just a theory?

"Early in the morning of June 17, 1972, several burglars were arrested inside the office of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), located in the Watergate building in Washington, D.C. This was no ordinary robbery: The prowlers were connected to President Richard Nixon’s reelection campaign, and they had been caught while attempting to wiretap phones and steal secret documents. While historians are not sure whether Nixon knew about the Watergate espionage operation before it happened, he took steps to cover it up afterwards, raising “hush money” for the burglars, trying to stop the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from investigating the crime, destroying evidence and firing uncooperative staff members. In August 1974, after his role in the Watergate conspiracy had finally come to light, the president resigned. His successor, Gerald Ford, immediately pardoned Nixon for all the crimes he “committed or may have committed” while in office. Although Nixon was never prosecuted, the Watergate scandal changed American politics forever, leading many Americans to question their leadership and think more critically about the presidency."

nah...only a wacked out nutjob would say that was a conspiracy.

history channel is using hyperbole to....uh....describe a.....um....theory that....oh who knows?
these tinfoil krazies are eeeeeeeverywhere.

WATERGATE WAS A HOTEL!
how hard is that? gee, i feel way less apathetic now.

......

con·spir·a·cy [kuhn-spir-uh-see]
noun, plural con·spir·a·cies.

1. the act of conspiring.
2. an evil, unlawful, treacherous, or surreptitious plan formulated in secret by two or more persons; plot.
3. a combination of persons for a secret, unlawful, or evil purpose:
He joined the conspiracy to overthrow the government.
4. Law. an agreement by two or more persons to commit a crime, fraud, or other wrongful act.
5. any concurrence in action; combination in bringing about a given result.

http://dictionary.reference.com

......

tsk....it's even in Legal Dictionaries:confused:
i wonder why? kind of a waste of ink innit?

......

conspiracy

a crime separate from the criminal act for which it is developed. For example, one who conspires with another to commit Burglary and in fact commits the burglary can be charged with both conspiracy to commit burglary and burglary.

Conspiracy is an inchoate, or preparatory, crime. It is similar to solicitation in that both crimes are committed by manifesting an intent to engage in a criminal act. It differs from solicitation in that conspiracy requires an agreement between two or more persons, whereas solicitation can be committed by one person alone.

Conspiracy also resembles attempt. However, attempt, like solicitation, can be committed by a single person. On another level, conspiracy requires less than attempt. A conspiracy may exist before a crime is actually attempted, whereas no attempt charge will succeed unless the requisite attempt is made.

The law seeks to punish conspiracy as a substantive crime separate from the intended crime because when two or more persons agree to commit a crime, the potential for criminal activity increases, and as a result, the danger to the public increases. Therefore, the very act of an agreement with criminal intent (along with an overt act, where required) is considered sufficiently dangerous to warrant charging conspiracy as an offense separate from the intended crime.

According to some criminal-law experts, the concept of conspiracy is too elastic, and the allegation of conspiracy is used by prosecutors as a superfluous criminal charge. Many criminal defense lawyers maintain that conspiracy is often expanded beyond reasonable interpretations. In any case, prosecutors and criminal defense attorneys alike agree that conspiracy cases are usually amorphous and complex.

The Elements of Conspiracy Agreement

The essence of conspiracy is the agreement between two or more persons. A single person acting alone cannot be guilty of conspiracy.

.....

pfffft what a stupid thing to have on Law Books!
i guess wacked out nutjob criminal law experts need to puff up their egos so they can act like they know something others do not.

....and how long did Watergate go without exposure?

Conspiracies happen but are exposed. Nothing goes on for years because..those humans? They cannot keep secrets.

I have been doing these debates for 13 years. They do tend to be repetitive and when you have studied them, its easy to make a judgement.

Comes with being an old fart.

the Watergate.....is.....an...HOTEL.
like serious, ppl.

Nothing goes on for years because..those humans? They cannot keep secrets.

come on.

first you have a conspiracy (theory); then you're on about secrets?
people keeping secrets?
purleeze.

who 'conspires' then tries to 'keep secrets'? hahaha....k.

are you trying to tell me you know something i don't know?

the Watergate is an hotel, man.

like. get a room.

when you have studied them? studied them what?
conspiracies?
or debates about conspiracies?
or the secrets people can't keep about conspiracies that don't exist?

don't you have anything better to do?:)
kinda like studying pyramids on the moon ain't it?

really...the watergate is an HOTEL.
nothing more.
you don't believe everything you read do you?

Maybe I left out another personality trait of conspiricy theorists.

Paranoia

you determined that personality trait by your study of conspiracies? or conspiracy theorists?
or by your study of an Hotel?:)

a view with a room.
what could be better?

When they cannot support their ideologies with facts, they attack personally....what did I walk into a room of liberals?

Ok. Disreguard my last post.

The real reasons why I know conspiracy theories are all bunk are...

I am smarter than you.

I am better looking than you.

I am richer than you.

God likes me more than you.

well, having studied conspiracy theorists, as well as an hotel:) (an inanimate object can not commit conspiracy)...you ought to know that by simply reading history and processing the information communicated through symbols in black ink on white paper (words), some people (kooky as it sounds) are able to understand that men devise and carry out conspiracies:)

do you read your local paper?

two men make plans to stick up the local 7-11.
that's a conspiracy.

did you have a theory about those 2 men?
is it ideological to read your local paper?
is reading about criminal activity and processing the information an ideology?

ever read the founding fathers on the banking cartels?
why have so many of your presidents been assassinated?

maybe assassinated is the wrong word?
since it's always, without exception a LONE NUT, it can never be a conspiracy, since it takes TWO or more to be classified as a conspiracy. at least according to dictionaries and the legal system.

of late, though, we have MIT psych students on psychotropic drugs dying their hair; able to throw smoke canisters from both side exits of theatres at the same time; other lone nuts (no conspiracy with just one lone nut) managing to fire off more rounds and achieve a casualty rate higher than trained professional military men are able to do.

mind you, ever since President Kennedy had his head blown off by a magic bullet fired by a lone nut, the ideology of conspiracy theorists has been assigned to the Ministry of Truth.

where the truth is updated daily, by use of that phantasmagorical aluminum foil delusion known as the memory hole.

i wish we conspiracy theorists hadn't been exposed as the real producers of the BBC's jane stanley reporting that building 7 went down - as it is seen still standing behind her. we tried our best to make it convincing.

though i wish our kooky people were more careful in our ideological quest to occupy and distract the minds of the wide awake people who live in reality, our plan is evidently working, since people can read their local newspapers and deny 2 men planning to hold up a 7-11 is not a theory, nor an ideology, but is a conspiracy.

sometimes they get away with it. they keep the secret.
sometimes if one guy looks like he's going to roll over, the other guy makes sure sleeps with the fishes.

i'm old too:)

i remember when govt and media told the people repeatedly the Cosa Nostra didn't exist.

fbi-joye_sworn_into_mafia-233x173.jpg

images

mind you, anybody who's ideology leads them to theorize about the non-existent cosa nostra has dreamed up the real Mob (which doesn't conspire to do anything, since it doesn't exist). i wrote the following wikipedia article in an attempt to lull you into apathy. but i know you're far too clever for that.

drats. tinfoiled again.

Meyer Lansky (born Meyer Suchowljansky;[1] July 4, 1902 – January 15, 1983), known as the "Mob's Accountant", was a Russian Empire-born American organized crime figure who, along with his associate Charles "Lucky" Luciano, was instrumental in the development of the "National Crime Syndicate" in the United States.

Meyer Lansky - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia < click

oh look:

By 1936, Lansky had established gambling operations in Florida, New Orleans, and Cuba

well wouldn't you know it?
along comes a lone nut....with a magic bullet.

I wanna know, since Al quida ( sp ) took credit for 9/11, how did the evil american government get them to do that since it was obvious to anyone with a brain, George Bush blew up the World....

nah I can't even keep this joke going

you can't even spell it, so it's not surprising you don't know it doesn't really exist:)
of course they took credit - they are the boogey-men of the century.
created just for little you.
there's a terrorist under your bed, btw:)

Al Qaeda and the “War on Terrorism”

By Prof Michel Chossudovsky
Global Research, May 09, 2013
Global Research 20 January 2008
Introduction

One of the main objectives of war propaganda is to “fabricate an enemy”. The “outside enemy” personified by Osama bin Laden is “threatening America”.

Pre-emptive war directed against “Islamic terrorists” is required to defend the Homeland. Realities are turned upside down. America is under attack.

In the wake of 9/11, the creation of this “outside enemy” has served to obfuscate the real economic and strategic objectives behind the war in the Middle East and Central Asia. Waged on the grounds of self-defense, the pre-emptive war is upheld as a “just war” with a humanitarian mandate.

As anti-war sentiment grows and the political legitimacy the Bush Administration falters, doubts regarding the existence of this illusive “outside enemy” must be dispelled.

Counter-terrorism and war propaganda are intertwined. The propaganda apparatus feeds disinformation into the news chain. The terror warnings must appear to be “genuine”. The objective is to present the terror groups as “enemies of America.”

Ironically, Al Qaeda –the “outside enemy of America” as well as the alleged architect of the 9/11 attacks– is a creation of the CIA.

'scuse me.

k...back with it:

do you believe al-Qaeda had many fortresses just like this one (from where they planned 9-11)?

if not, did Donald Rumsfeld lie to the American people?

if he did lie, why did he do it?

did he act alone (lone nut)?

...Watergate does not bother me, does your conscience bother you, tell me true...

I have plenty of reasons to dislike Richard Nixon, watergate is not one of them.

Watergate was a big, huge, giant, NOTHING, It was a political party spying on a political party, childs play when you see the abuses against ordinary citizens taking place now, especially compared to the crimes against the Constitution obama has committed. I don't believe it is possible to be a Christian and support him. He is the epitome of the wicked Biblical kings of old. He supports, and pushes for, abortion up to and INCLUDING, letting BORN ALIVE botched abortion babies DIE without allowing ANY medical care. He has been the greatest driving force behind homosexual marriage and other homosexual super -rights in the world. There are Many, many other terrible positions this disgrace advances or attempts to advance, but on those 2 issues ALONE, I don't know how somebody can claim to be a Christian and support him.

Well, that explains why Bahrain's American Embassy is closed tomorrow
