Difference between God and Jesus

Gotcha (I understand where you are coming from).....In the beginning. Well, what happened at the beginning? Things were created. Let me say this for an example: "I was sitting down in my chair at the beginning of the movie". Does that mean I was created at the beginning of that movie, or that I was there before the movie started?

Jesus Himself quoted prophecy of Himself, where David called the Christ, Lord, that is God.
Jesus wants to know how He is David's son, when David calls Him God?

And speaking of the Christ, Isa 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall
stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

The "root" of Jesse. The Christ, is the root of Jesse, meaning He gave life to Jesse.
When the word became flesh, isn't the beginning of the Christ, but His arrival clothed in humanity.

i said Jesus had a beginning not God and never said when he became flesh was his beginning

who was god talking to in the beginning here...Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

The Word and the Spirit.

As far as those who have never heard the gospel,they are still accountable. Romans chapter 1 says that people are without excuse. There is no scriptural support to think that people will be given a second chance after death. "God will have mercy on whom He will have mercy"(Romans 9).

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. - John 1:1

If the Word was God, and you said God has no beginning, then this Word doesn't either, but once it became flesh it took the title Jesus. I like how you are putting us to the test to use scripture since your the only one lol.

If Jesus is the word..and he was with God. what does that tell you?

Not only is word God, he was also with God... He was with the Father, both are God, for the word is God.. so if the word is God are you saying that one is eternal and one is not?
 
No way josh, the Word is eternal, the flesh is temporal, Jesus is only 2,000 yrs old. Have been listening to Demons? Most "oneness" people have been listening to Demons. They want the miraculous and they are getting demons. Many talk to demons. to the dead. God forbids this. Love to all Hoffco

they both are eternal.. but jesus had a beginning, look at the born again christians we had a beginning, which was in our mother womb but when we become born again we become eternal is that not true?

Yes, at least two Beings. And One of those Beings we call Creator and the other we now call Abba. But, let us not forget the third, the Holy Spirit who adorned the heavens.

But, nevertheless, if there are two, then there must be more than one (remember: although there are different administrations, there is but ONE GOD working all in all?)
 
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together - Colossians 1:15-17 NASB

If the word is God, and Jesus is the word, then he is eternal, that means he was not created. and for you to be able to say that he was created and be consistent you would have to conclude that God created another god.

Jesus became/made flesh when he came to reconcile. This is real serious Josh, and I do worry for you. Because you are not putting your faith in Christ of the bible... it is another Jesus you are worshipping.

Then, may I ask, what is your purpose, seeing that we all agree that Jesus has a beginning, but that the Word and God are both eternal? Can we also agree that Jesus is God, seeing that He was the Word in the flesh?

How was the word made flesh?

For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God[SUP][i][/SUP] gives the Spirit without limit. John3:34

Jesus was the fullness of God in his he was God dwell in him when the holy spirit came into him
