One geological feature on this earth, pretty much proves a young earth. From my calculations I would say around 9,000-10,000 years old. The geological, monumental I speak of is, Mt.Everest. Mt.Everest is 8,848 meters tall, and it grows at an rate of 4 millimeters a year. Its height pretty much validates an earth of about 9,000-10,000 years old.

You can't prove the growth rate stayed constant. However, if it did stay constant, then this still destroys the 6000 yr old earth that YEC put forth.

The one that comes to mind at first is if a fallen angel has special knowledge much more advance then man, then a man possess by that angel could have masqueaded around proclaiming to the messiah, or the risen Christ, thus if all this is possible then we could be living a hoax. Some of CC's other threads have pretty well decided that a demon is not a fallen angel. Others have conjectured that the nephilim will return in our day, for just this reason. Surely the anitchrist would have to be possessed by somehting powerful. None of that is false doctrines, Jesus warned us of such things, as you say.

i think what you meant to say was that Relativity (and just about all of Cosmology) assumes that the speed of light in a vacuum (and every other fundamental constant) is invariant over all time.

Relativity does not 'assume' anything....it predicts it.

SR & GR are the most proven principles in ALL of physics...we cannot ignore its predictions in favor of a personal world-view.
