I was ready for it to be fall pretty much by the end of June.
I am not a fan of the heat, at all. Dry heat is better than humid heat, and humid heat is what we have here. It's like you start sweating as soon as you step outside because it's just so sticky. I never wear pants (personal reasons) so that's another reason why I don't like the heat. Granted, I do love summer evenings.
There's just something about each season that is wonderful. Each one has its own smell. For spring, I love the newness of everything, the smell of blossoming flowers. Summer evenings are wonderful, it's the cool part of the day and the sunsets are amazing. Fall has a wonderful smell of decaying leaves, vivid color of the leaves changing, the warmth of wearing a sweater and drinking hot cocoa. Winter has that brisk cold, the soft snow. And it has Christmas.
