Churches of God on earth
1. at Corinth - 1Co_1:2 Unto the churchof God which is at Corinth,…
2. at Thessalonica -1Th_1:1 Paul, andSilvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in Godthe Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from Godour Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3. and there are the seven churches of revelation...

Though there maybe some fault in each churches...consider this.
Heb 10:24 And let usconsider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Heb 10:25 Notforsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; butexhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Are you one of those in the assembly or you are one of those who have the manner of forsaking the assembly???

God is a Spirit and can only be worshipped in Spirit and truth:

  1. John 4:23
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
John 4:22-24 (in Context) John 4 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
  2. John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
John 4:23-25 (in Context) John 4 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
  3. John 14:17 even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

God's kingdom is not of this earth:
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
1 Corinthians 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes ,,

double yes but not all Protestants realize there catholic, the churches do and they may change a few beliefs, but the churches know there still catholic its just the poor people sitting in them who dont, and its them poor people who are brain washed by there church leaders and them self's its the same for baptists to, they get brain washed into thinking that Catholics are bad a few beliefs is what separates but most of the other stuff like 99.percent was upheld by the the early catholic farthers and passed down too its followers, then people saw fit to cause division
like Martyn luther and pastors who get rich with there , i want my 10 percent , like Henry the eight, lots of stuff,

catholic means universal, you can still be catholic and not believe the beliefs your church is teaching you,
i GIVE YOU AN EXAMPLE the Anglican catholic church state you can choose to believe in the belief of mary was immaculate or not you can choose to believe in immaculate conception or not, they state that on the about page,

but do pastor or some other demoninations give you that freedom ,, nope , and you can go to church and still believe that you and the people are the church, does not make a difference to me

catholic is 1 3rd of the world more i think, the other is so called protestant, then Islam

if you asked me are baptists Christians would say don't know i just don't know, they may say they are but are they truly

God knows who are his and who are not his. And the person knows if they are or not because:
Romans 1:4 and declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
Romans 1:9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
Romans 2:29
but he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Romans 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

  1. Romans 7:14
For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
Romans 7:13-15 (in Context) Romans 7 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
  2. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 8:1-3 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
  3. Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:1-3 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
  4. Romans 8:4 that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 8:3-5 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
  5. Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Romans 8:4-6 (in Context) Romans 8 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
  6. Romans 8:6
  7. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

So do you have life and peace, or are you busy fighting to get there? And let each have their free will to decide what is truth that sets them free.
For me when I was in bondage, there was error in my truth, and I had to study the whole truth to find the error and make those corrections to be set free from bondage of error.
    seeing the depth and breadth
[h=3]Ephesians 3:17-19[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

  8. [SUP]17 [/SUP]that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, [SUP]18 [/SUP]may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
  9. [SUP]19 [/SUP]and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

So I know all the one's that seek God in truth will find God for God will reveal himself to them through his Son Christ, whether they are Catholic, Protestant. Jehovah witness, Muslim, Islam, or any religion here on earth
So I make no Judgments to any other, I am just here to represent the Love, Righteousness and peace found in God through the Christ at the cross, where all the riches are at for new life in God. Set free for that is what the truth has done for me, set me free, as is what all man searches for not seeing the war that is at hand between flesh and Spirit of God.

  10. Galatians 3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Galatians 3:2-4 (in Context) Galatians 3 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
  11. Galatians 4:29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
Galatians 4:28-30 (in Context) Galatians 4 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
  12. Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

God is a Spirit and can only be worshipped in Spirit and truth:

  1. John 4:23
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

  3. John 14:17 even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
This statement is true, it seems you are forgetting in Spirit and "TRUTH".

Some truth is you are not in heaven yet....

If your argument is "God kingdom is not of this earth" you are still in the earth...looking at your screen reading this post. so in response to your argument, you are not in the Kingdom of God.

You are starting to sound like a former catholic priest who becomes convinced about the wrong teaching of the catholic church, but would not go to other denomination because of the previous belief and still holding to the Catholic Teaching.

Actually something I read, my previous pastor contradicted himself in areas of the bible, but what can I say he is only a man lol

So then who is to be our Teacher then:
Hebrews 8:11 and they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

Good to read the whole Chapter in context, for we are Jews adopted in those that believe God anyway

There is only one true Tabernacle is this truth:

No question about it. But where is it, and where are you NOW?

Hebrews 8
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

8 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; [SUP]2 [/SUP]a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

a letter to the HEBREWS...who have the Law and the earthly tabernacle given to Moses.

Heb 8:4 For if hewere on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests thatoffer gifts according to the law:
Heb 8:5 Who serveunto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of Godwhen he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou makeall things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
Heb 8:6 But now hathhe obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of abetter covenant, which was established upon better promises.
Heb 8:7 For if thatfirst covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought forthe second.

This does not give you the license to forsake the assembly...but stresses we have a MEDIATOR to God of a Better COVENANT.

and here is that tabernacle ...
Rev 15:5 And afterthat I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony inheaven was opened:
Rev 15:6 And theseven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pureand white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.
Rev 15:7 And one ofthe four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrathof God, who liveth for ever and ever.
Rev 15:8 And thetemple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and noman was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the sevenangels were fulfilled.

Are you in there?????

Truth or not truth according to Scripture? I am not the one to decide whether you are of flesh or Spirit, God is the one that knows and God's Spirit testifies with each of our own Spirits whether we are God's or not. And I trust God if you are not his to be his, at God's perfect timing, not mine or any man's timing. All man flesh are Liars. God is not, and this is where my trust is at, The only place that I found safe and secure.
Thanks

you talk more of God, but who is your God? Is he the same God of the Muslims?

Hey bro we both agree on one thing, there is no true denomination, I think they all have corruption somewhere, but to those I don't know I cannot judge. But Catholicism is still wrong in many areas...

Only one true Tabernacle
[h=3]Hebrews 8[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

8 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; [SUP]2 [/SUP]a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

And right now this is in heaven. And only in Spirit can one be there to worship here and now:

John 4:23
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
John 14:17 even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Ephesians 5:9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
2 Thessalonians 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
1 John 5:6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

Here is my opinion.
Catholicism is too religious and some are way too indoctrinated by man
Orthodox needs to open the doors sometimes and see reality in modern times
Protestant are slowly making no sense with a lot of hard sensitive issues.

But not all people from each one are unbelievers. I believe there is Christian Catholics, Christian Orthodox, Christian Protestant. My objection isn't people but what they are taught. In no post in here have I declared Catholics condemned. I don't approve of what they teach. Same with church I'm going to, they do things I don't agree with and I'm looking for churches.

But I'm Protestant because the others make no sense to me.

Continue to trust God Bryan, for I know God will strategically place you to bloom wherever he plants you, if you trust him to do this Father will. God sees all and knows all, which I know you know.
So wherever you are just bloom like a flower does surrounded by mire all around with much compost.

catholics hold the same view. But there may be some confusion here over what you see as mediator.

What your suggesting is only jesus can here our prayers . I have revalation to prove that prayers can be passed on by saints.
Just like now i could say a prayer for you . So in that sense i am acting as a mediator

Yet the only one that connects us to Father is Christ:
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Paul who was Saul in a way is a mediator to bring me, you and all that choose to believe God into Christ. As many others are the same all the way back to Noah. But ultimately no one gets to the Father except through the Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are we not in the Bible discussion forum?

We are here to discuss.
If I have a question regarding biblical thoughts,
Or you just want some topic pertaining to bible to talk about.

The motive is to discussed.

Remember the question in which you did not give an answer,

Do Catholics and Muslims worship the same God?

I have posted it in a different thread for others to discuss.

I do not know, nor do I delve into this, for I am not God, to tell others what they must believe or not. I have free will and choice. My choice and will is I believe God to do what God has said God has done for me through Son, making one with Father. Christ my mediator.
Now am I to shove this on others? Or am I called to love all as God has done through the cross of Son, where life is at.
All I can do is say what I know God to be.
Do you believe the truth will set you free?
Are you free?
If you are not free and in bondage to sin, then there might be error in your truth that you are dogmatic about just as each denomination is.
So maybe you might need to re-think your truth, if you are not free, for God wrote through John this:
[h=3]1 John 2[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

2 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: [SUP]2 [/SUP]and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. [SUP]3 [/SUP]And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. [SUP]4 [/SUP]He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. [SUP]5 [/SUP]But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. [SUP]6 [/SUP]He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. [SUP]8 [/SUP]Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. [SUP]9 [/SUP]He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. [SUP]10 [/SUP]He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. [SUP]11 [/SUP]But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

[SUP]12 [/SUP]I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.

This world has done a great Job in taking away the power of the power of the cross, by keeping most people in their sins, being in unredeemed bodies, convincing us that if we sin we need more forgiveness from God. which is a lie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How can there be anymore forgiveness from God, once you believe God and God shows you that God took it all away through Son, if you will continue to believe God did do as God has said God has done through Son.

Hebrews 9:22
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

every time one sins over and over and asks God to forgive them over and over has not received the truth, That they are forgiven back at the death of Christ in the flesh of Christ on the cross of Christ.
Not seeing that by his death:
Colossians 1:22 in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

So that once this is believed then we see the new life in the Spirit by the resurrected Christ, from Father as a gift to us here and now so that we walk as Christ walked, being born again in the Spirit of God, which today is the only way Father can be worshipped in Spirit, dead to flesh sin.

[/LIST]

You are starting to sound like a former catholic priest who becomes convinced about the wrong teaching of the catholic church, but would not go to other denomination because of the previous belief and still holding to the Catholic Teaching.

I see what God has shown me and am no better than anyone else ever, even though I am in Spirit in my home in God's Kingdom.
Put back here on the earth to be the ambassador that God has called me to be
2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
Ephesians 6:20 for which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Philippians 3:17 [ Our Citizenship in Heaven ] Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern
Philippians 3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

So you don't see this, keep searching scripture and ask God to show you truth about being here dead to sin and alive to God being found in him, as a citizen of God's kingdom there is Spirit, and held alive here by God's Spirit to tell others of how amazing Heaven is. Representing the Love, Joy, Peace and righteousness that is there for you to see right here and now, being born again , Alive to God, right here right now. No more fighting, no more I am right you are wrong. We all can believe as we want to believe.
BUT GOD, came down here to redeem us in the Spirit and give us life in the Spirit and thus we don't have to live like refugees

Yet many are because they can't believe in the operation of God the Father through the cross, we are to dead in the flesh carnal mindset with Christ at Christ's death, then we see life through our self death to self, by being co-crucified with Chrsit on the cross, just as Paul has said in Scripture more than once
[h=3]Philippians 3[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[h=3]All for Christ[/h]3 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation! [SUP]3 [/SUP]For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit,[SUP][a][/SUP] rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh, [SUP]4 [/SUP]though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so: [SUP]5 [/SUP]circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; [SUP]6 [/SUP]concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. [SUP]8 [/SUP]Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ [SUP]9 [/SUP]and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; [SUP]10 [/SUP]that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, [SUP]11[/SUP]if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

No question about it. But where is it, and where are you NOW?

a letter to the HEBREWS...who have the Law and the earthly tabernacle given to Moses.

Rev 15:8 And thetemple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and noman was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the sevenangels were fulfilled.

Are you in there?????

you talk more of God, but who is your God? Is he the same God of the Muslims?

Sorry you do not see truth as what is truth from God through Son Christ. Praying you do
You apparently are still of the flesh that can't please God. Only Christ did this in the flesh and no one else
Galatians 4:29 But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now.
Galatians 5:16 [ Walking in the Spirit ] I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
Galatians 6:8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh,
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
1 Peter 3:18 [ Christ’s Suffering and Ours ] For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,
1 Peter 4:6 For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

1 John 4:2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,
1 John 4:3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

I see what God has shown me and am no better than anyone else ever, even though I am in Spirit in my home in God's Kingdom.
Put back here on the earth to be the ambassador that God has called me to be

"PUT BACK HERE ON EARTH"....What a statement....

You come up then you came back down....just WOW...

Philippians 3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

IT's TRUE, That is why we also eagerly WAIT for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

and while we wait, we are pilgrims/ strangers in this earth.

you see if you believe your a protestant, then your question of whats happened to the lost books has no meaning, of what you truly believe, im like you i carnt say for certion whether the decision to romove books from the protestants is right or not,, all i know is that Martyn luther guy went to say some pretty bad stuff about people,

braches.png

if you look at this picture you would have to say early christianity as the true religion but then you would have to except books that have been taking out by protestants

[/QUOTE] i beg to differ, because i feel for some people who claim they are saved, think they know it all and attack perfectly innocent people.
but actualy yes you can be saved but what you do with that great strength is upto you , but one thing is not to let your self righteousness, rule your head

I have a few bibles with the apocryphal books in it. I just don't see how it is important. When you read it, to me it's not scripture but just maybe historical analysis. We don't quote from these books, neither did Jesus or the apostles. But of course this is my opinion.

Martin Luther said this, "These Books Are Not Held Equal to the Scriptures, but Are Useful and Good to Read".
