I don't think you have GLR an honest answer there, that is a good question. If it's a first date, I just let the conversation flow on its own without any planning. By the time we are having a first date, I will have already communicated quite a bit with them via emails, messages, texts, phone calls, etc. so I'll already have topics to discuss. If even after all of that, and the conversation drags, that may be a sign it isn't a good match.

I have actually had dates have a friend call them on our first date after about thirty minutes have passed to either provide an easy out if she felt things were really bad or to make sure that I wasn't a serial killer. None of them ran and shared that with me. They turned their phones off after that.

First the jobless, homeless guy, and now this? These questions are difficult! I think it's safe to assume that I'm not going to be attracted to either guy, since one stinks and the other, I'm just not attracted to. At first I thought I'd just douse Good Looking Guy with a pail of water everyday, but with further pondering I guess I'd go with Impeccable Hygiene Guy. There's always something attractive about a person, once you get to know them. The color of their eyes, or the way their chin dimples, or something.
