The Bible is NOT 10,000 years old. Maybe 4000-5000 years old at most.
I am confused about what the OP wants. If you want archeology, try these links:
Archaeology and the Bible
Please Convince Me
But of course, the OP could have googled these things himself.
As far as the reliability of the Biblical text, just look at the Dead Sea Scrolls. They were written before the time of Christ. yet the almost complete version of the 66 books of Isaiah for example, are virtually identical to today, over 2000 years later. That means that God preserves his word.
I studied all the religions of the world before I became a Christian. Jesus was the only one who reached down to touch me. I knew I could never be good enough, work hard enough, meditate enough, dance, sing or do anything to make myself the type of person I knew God expected me to be.
I was a sinner saved by grace. God took away my drinking problem and it never came back. He restored my broken heart and soul. I have two university degrees which God helped and inspired me to study and get. I am a teacher, and a chaplain. I could never have done it without Christ.
I notice you probably do not have an advanced education, as evidenced by your many spelling mistakes! I do agree that you need to be a bit more humble when you come into a site where you are not a Christian, and somehow think you know more than those of us who have spent many years studying the Bible. I have read the Bible over 50 times, many versions, including ESV, NASB, HCSB, The Message, French, Greek, and some of the Old Testament in Hebrew. There are easy versions for people like the OP who does not have the education to understand the more difficult versions. Try the Good New Bible or the Living Bible. Eventually, you will understand enough to read the more literal versions which are harder.
My prayer is that instead of coming here and accusing and thinking you know more than people who can read in the original languages and find the translations to be satisfactory, that you take ANY ONE of those translations, and start reading it in the book of John. Then read Matthew, Mark and Luke. Then the rest of the New Testament. Then start on the Psalms in the Old Testament, the Narratives, and finally the prophets and the rest of the Writings.
Until your read the book you are complaining about, you really don't have any right to comment on it. I read the holy books of all the major religions of the world. I read the Bible before God saved me. I did not understand it. But the Holy Spirit helped me. I was able to understand the Bible because I met the author of the Book - Jesus Christ.
That is what you need - to meet Jesus Christ. But it won't happen until your repent of your arrogance and actually read and find out what the Bible says.
Sorry if I have missed anything. I love to talk to sincere seekers, but I doubt you are one!
