I think Satan has one weapon left to him. He will take as many human souls as he can into the Eternal Fire with him as he can.

True Blain, But Satan has to ask God to temp us, to attack us. And God allows it sometimes to better our self in our faith. As a test sort of thing. Satan Cannot read our minds, But our Creator Can. God won't allow Satan to read our minds. If that is so? How come he has to temp us first? how come he has to seek our hearts to try again temp us to do wrong? Surely if he could read minds, he would therefore would waste time trying to get in your mind in the first place?, if you get my meaning.

If he had a direct path to your mind, he wouldn't waste time trying to get in to temp. So with that in mind, he cannot read minds.
So my question is how is Satan able to tempt us with the things we like? If u don't like pie...people who know u won't offer u pie. Not try a start nothing but I notice Satan temps me with things I enjoyed to do and if it wasn't a sin I'm sure I'd be doing it. How does he know what we like? I believe just as we can yield to God our members (mind) to him, then we can also yield our members to Satan. We probably don't realize were doing it Cuz he just has people caught up in his lust.

I would say that The devil still has influence over people when they are ignorant of understanding the word of are not taught the true meaning of the word. This is what is called "Walking in the Flesh". When a person is in this situation then he begins to ignore or not believe the fact Jesus has accomplished and provided everything for us and attempts to concentrate on his own works. This is when the devil sees opportunity and uses his only weapon: influence. Through his influence the devil can convince a person to "help" Jesus out with their own efforts and move out of "Walking in the Spirit". When this happens then, by your own choice, you cut off the flow of Grace from my Father and, eventually, you will believe the devil is the the mind reader and read our hearts. (Col.2:15) and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of these openly, triumphing over them in it. These principalities and powers were owned by the devil, Jesus spoiled them and was completely victorious over them.

So if any powers Satan does have is Influence, and that not mind reading.

The devil can discern your countenance and bring accusations against you to get you to react or withdraw to find out what is going on in your heart. He can project his thoughts against you and observe your response mentally and emotionally and wait to see how you respond to them. He can have a plan to sift you to see if he can shake your faith. He can entice you to see if you will fall into temptation and be drawn away with your own lust. In all these things he can take advantage of us especially when we are ignorant of his devices.

Satan tempts things you like because they will eventually destroy your body and mind.

I agree Satan can put thoughts in your mind, and suggest things and influence you to his schemes, to move you away from God and also to try get a respond from his actions, But again that's not reading your minds. He cannot read your mind. He has no power to do so. All his powers were stripped from Satan the day Jesus died on that cross. If Satan could read minds? you think Jesus would say by warning of it? He warns us of some ways how he tempts us, and tries to seduce, and tries to manipulate, But Not mind read, that power Satan don't have, and will never have.

how did the devil know Peter and no other Apostle was to take over the leadership ?

Luke 22

31
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

John 21
Peter to lead the church when Jesus gone

14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.
15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
The way Satan knew that it was Peter that was chosen for leadership is because he was listening when Jesus spoke these words:

Matthew 16:13-20

13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

Satan neither read Peter's mind nor Jesus' mind. He simply listened to their conversation. He does the same to all Christians and assigns other demons to listen to every Christian's words and watch our behaviors. :) Thanks for the opportunity to share my comments.

And The scriptures state plainly that the devil was defeated by Christ at the cross. Satan no longer has any weapons of offense at his disposal. So mind reading, Satan will not have.
Are you saying he had it at once to know Eve was the one to fall first and not Adam

Unless people are having conversation with invisible beings that I do not know about, Satan can read our minds. He cannot read our hearts.

Satan only attempts and tempts Christians with things that will separate us from God just as he did with Adam. A key to Satan knowing how to approach us (tempt) is that he reads the Word of God also. In addition, he has studied the habits of man for 6-millenniums.

No he didn't have it then, But Adam and eve was tempted, not mind read. it seems to me, and don't take this the wrong way, but you seem to be confused between temptation and mind reading.

If satan can put thoughts in your mind, he must be able to read your mind. Read ICor.13:1, Romans8:26,27, Luke10:19,20 and Joh.20:21, Matt.18:18,Php.4:6,7 and Acts 5:3 also 1Ch. 28:9,Eph6:11 Hope this might help

Adam was not tempted it was Eve .

Why did he not tempt Adam ?

[h=3]Genesis 3[/h]King James Version (KJV)

3 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Genesis 3

9
And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
13 And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

Why did the devil tempt Eve and not Adam ?

Why did he use Deliah to get to Samson ?
It's not hard to know that the weakness of man is woman. I think most men know that. But it doesn't mean we can read minds.

And it was Delilah who got Samson, not Deliah. Hmmmmmm. ;)
