Thought the title might catch your eye. Truth is, we're all children of the Devil. That's something that is stated so clearly in the Bible, in the book of John chapter 4 verse 44.
You may be thinking; "Oh, this girl is misinterpreting the Bible. She is wrong. False"

I am surprised how that so few caught this in the 1st place:
John 4:44 (KJV) [SUP]44 [/SUP]For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country.
Doesn't anyone read their Bibles anymore? Especially before they quote it?

I am not a child of the devil. The 2nd Adam, Jesus Christ took away my sin, nailing it to his cross. The Holy Spirit adopted me in the Beloved. I am no longer the devil's child.

Elizabeth, do you know how much you insulted the Body of Christ? Insulting the body insults the Head who bought it with His own blood.

Repent of this wickedness that you may receive forgiveness from the Lord, for He is merciful. And so are we, His body.

I want to know how Jesus took my sins during baptism...
Alright. I can help you with that. Well, God can actually.

Forthe wages which sin pays is death, but the [bountiful] free gift of God is eternal life through (in union with) Jesus Christ our Lord. -
- Romans 6:23

Originally, we were meant for death. But God couldn't let us die, spiritually. Instead, He sent His son to take our place, because He knows that sinners can never enter His kingdom.

Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John to be baptized by him.But John protested strenuously, having in mind to prevent Him, saying, It is I who have need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me? ButJesus replied to him, Permit it just now; for this is the fitting way for [both of] us to fulfill all righteousness [that is, to perform completely whatever is right]. Then he permitted Him. And, when Jesus was baptized, He went up at once out of the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he [John] saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on Him. And behold, a voice from heaven said, This is My Son, My Beloved, in Whom I delight!
- Matthew 3:13-17

The only reason Jesus asked John to baptize Him, was because that was the only way to fulfill all righteousness. God's righteousness, and God's will. (John 6:38-40)
The reason Jesus took our sins at His baptism, is because of 1 John 5:8
"and there are three witnesses on the earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree [are in unison; their testimony coincides]."

And the reason I know for a fact that the word "water" represents Christ's baptism, is because of 1 John 5:6
"This is He Who came by (with) water and blood [[a]His baptism and His death], Jesus Christ (the Messiah)—not by (in) the water only, but by (in) the water and the blood. And it is the [Holy] Spirit Who bears witness, because the [Holy] Spirit is the Truth."

The word coincide means that without one, you can't have the other. They literally support each other. And without the understanding of what really took place at Christ's baptism, one cannot enter the kingdom of God. (John 3:5)

Now, John the baptist comes from the lineage of the Aaronic priesthood (Luke 1:5)

In the Old Testament, the sin of Israel was passed onto an animal. And it was killed. In the same manner, God became our sin bearer. That's why He was known as the Lamb of God, after, and not before He was baptized (John 1:29)
John was literally qualified to pass the sins of the entire world onto Jesus. That's why in Matthew 11:11 it says that there is no one greater than John the Baptist, who is born of a woman because John was destined to represent all of mankind in the passing of sin, onto Jesus. Yet, He who is least in the Kingdom of God, is greater than John the Baptist.

That's what I can tell you, for now. If you do have any questions, feel free to ask. And the Lord shall answer.
God bless.

I am sorry. I got the verse mixed up. It's John 8:44. Not John 4:44. Sorry, again. And I am talking about before entering Christ, we were all the children of the devil. Sorry for the confusion.

God bless.

Also Elizabeth, i think you are following into a bad religious trap... You are starting to think that the flesh is 100% bad, which is incorrect... "And the flesh, is sin."

You also say that Jesus took my sins during his baptism... Which is 100% incorrect... And I would love if you could elaborate so I can show you your flawed views in a more confined perspective...

so the flesh is NOT 100% Bad? Thats funny, Scripture says otherwise.

It's how you use your flesh. The flesh will always sin. Yet, you can use it for God. But, it's the spirit that can change.

No I can not. the flesh will always sin. I must use the spirit within me. My newborn spirit. to work for God.

Before salvation was applied. all I had was my flesh, which can do not good. and is wretched. My spirit was dead.

But it has been made alive in Christ.

The flesh always refers to self. Nothing from self can be good. For it will always be self motivated, which is not of God. and can only take credit for self.

Your "confusion" remains.
John 8:44 (NASB) [SUP]44 [/SUP]"You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

This scripture is taken out of context. The argument of the Pharisees was that they were the children of Abraham, & Jesus told them whose sons they really were. In the OT, righteous Jews were indeed Sons of Abraham. So are we:
Galatians 3:6-18 (KJV) [SUP]6 [/SUP]Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. [SUP]7 [/SUP]Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. [SUP]8 [/SUP]And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. [SUP]9 [/SUP]So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. [SUP]10 [/SUP]For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. [SUP]11 [/SUP]But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. [SUP]12 [/SUP]And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. [SUP]13 [/SUP]Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: [SUP]14 [/SUP]That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. [SUP]15 [/SUP]Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. [SUP]16 [/SUP]Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. [SUP]17 [/SUP]And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. [SUP]18 [/SUP]For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

We are also the Sons of God:
John 1:11-13 (KJV) [SUP]11 [/SUP]He came unto his own, and his own received him not. [SUP]12 [/SUP]But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: [SUP]13 [/SUP]Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Romans 8:12-19 (KJV) [SUP]12 [/SUP]Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. [SUP]13 [/SUP]For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. [SUP]14 [/SUP]For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. [SUP]15 [/SUP]For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. [SUP]16 [/SUP]The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: [SUP]17 [/SUP]And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. [SUP]18 [/SUP]For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. [SUP]19 [/SUP]For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

Galatians 4:4-7 (KJV) [SUP]4 [/SUP]But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, [SUP]5 [/SUP]To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. [SUP]6 [/SUP]And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. [SUP]7 [/SUP]Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

1 John 3:1-3 (KJV) [SUP]1 [/SUP]Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. [SUP]2 [/SUP]Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. [SUP]3 [/SUP]And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

I'm saying we only have 1 father. Before, if was the Devil. To those born again, it is God.

Well, explaining was no use. God bless. And you've misunderstood me.

It is of little use to argue with a willful child.
I'm not arguing with anyone. I find no use in arguing with someone over the truth. I'll believe in what the Lord has said, and not what man has said. For it is better to have faith in God than to trust man. And if people don't want to listen to what I have to say, then so be it. I'm not going to force my faith on anyone else. Like the word of the Lord says; "don't give a pearl to hogs"
God already said that there will be weapons formed against me. But He also said that they shall not prosper. And I choose to believe that. The devil will use everything, and everyone against me. But, the Lord is my shield, and the Lord is my strength. God bless. (Don't argue. It's not worth it. Debating isn't worth it either. We're all given the free will, remember?)

The Words of the OP....The flesh isn't bad. It will always sin, but it can be used for God.

And this is why it was NOT GOD that send you to teach to us... Young lady you are in TERRIBLE false spirits and teachings......

If the Spirit of God lives in ANY flesh it is as perfect as the flesh Jesus occupied... The Holy Spirit cannot sin, not in Jesus, not in a donkey and not in a firy bush... neither in ANY flesh HE FILLS...

So what you teach is ... The flesh is stronger than God... WOW!!!!

I say you go to God and ask Him to rather just forgive you for the lies you preach... WOW! The flesh will always sin no matter God even FILLS ot with His Spirit, the FLESH WILL WIN... WOW!!!!Blasphemy or just a lack of knowledge? And hten said with so much convistion? WOW! Do you have a long way to go to even KNOW what Jesus does for His Brothers?

He make them as holy and as glorious as HE WAS right here on earth...

Nope young lady, i think you should God study with God.... He says if He makes the NEW creature he makes a PERFECT HOLY MAN.... Exactly like Jesus...

Let me ask you... do you still sin? then you are 100% correct, you are still from Satan.... Now how can God use Satan's duaghters to house a HOLY MESSAGE? Impossible.... God says he has NO COMMUNION WITH THE DARKNESS... You are from the darkness on your OWN confession, HOW can the light of God be in you if you are still in darkness? Nope you are all screwed up with your false doctrine... Sorry yourng lady, I love you and I will GLADLY show you answers to questions...

Like if you ask me... Does God give us something that we CANNOT sin not even ONCE.... I would say YES , read 1 John 3:9... Proof the children of God do not sin and cannot sin... So I will answer ALL your questions with only God's word...

I will ask you, please show me a verse that says flesh will ALWAYS sin. please show me such a verse... Remember it has to say flesh will ALWAYS sin...

I'm saying the flesh will sin, and will always sin. But it's the spirit that can become sinless and righteous. Not the flesh. And no one or nothing is greater than God. I never said that. Don't twist my words. Please. Yes. I still sin. In the flesh. But in the spirit, I am sinless and righteous. There's a difference between both. And you don't have to agree with me. Never asked you to. Say what you want, and twist all you like. I'm standing firm in my faith. Because if I say I don't sin, I make God a liar.

God bless.

And you don't have to agree with me. Never asked you to. Say what you want, and twist all you like. I'm standing firm in my faith.

Do you hear yourself? You insist that your message is universal and everybody needs to hear it, then spend a good 20% of your message telling people how they're going to reject it, hate you, how they make a mockery of things, how they're trying to get you to abandon your faith...

You're fighting an imaginary battle here. You bring it on yourself by making vague accusations against your entire audience, telling us beforehand what unholy things we're going to do with the message, and even implying we're trying to get you to commit apostasy.

Calm down. There are lots of disagreements here, but there are few people here who mean you any sort of harm.

You are 100% correct YOU ARE SAYING THE FLESH WILL ALWAYS SIN THE BIBLE SAYS OTHERWISE...

You say FLESH WILL ALWAYS SIN, and GOD SAYS NOPE... IF HIS SEED IS IN THE FLESH IT CANNOT SIN...

So you see you say SATAN'S Words the complete OPPOSITE of GOD....

That is why advize you to refrain from posting on CC... You are AGAINST God's word not FOR it...

Look here...... These people are in the FLESH..... EVEN THEIR FLESH CANNOT SIN...Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

A lot of people want proof. Can you imagine the response John would of gotten with an untoward generation. Prove to us he's Jesus. I have no problem with pointing out scripture for people to study so they can get understanding yet some want a file folder of their so called "proof". I know when I disagreed or agreed I did the studying I didn't ask someone to do it for me. Do you have the Holy Spirit and does he communicate with you at all would be my response.

We must remember the story of Israel's wondering in the wilderness and all those who died there. It was the CHILDREN who were allowed into the land.

It is either ALL of God, or ALL of the devil, no mixture of the two is to be allowed!
