[h=3]Romans 7
[/h]King James Version (KJV)

7 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
[SUP]2 [/SUP]For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

ROMANS 7

[SUP]14 [/SUP]For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.

[SUP]17 [/SUP]Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

[SUP]18 [/SUP]For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

[SUP]19 [/SUP]For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

[SUP]20 [/SUP]Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

[SUP]21 [/SUP]I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

[SUP]22 [/SUP]For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

[SUP]23 [/SUP]But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

[SUP]24 [/SUP]O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

[SUP]25 [/SUP]I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

If you are growing in his grace and learning by God through Faith and forsaking unrighteousness, through partaking IN /FATHER'S RIGHTEOUSNESS THEN CARRY ON. otherwise ask God to show you truth that sets us free in him, walking by God's Spirit daily, where no sin can ever occur. are we not to be dead to sin by Christ at the cross or not?
We are to be dead to sin. But the death here, is spiritual death. When Adam and Eve partook of the forbidden fruit, didn't God say that they were to surely die? Most people take this as in physical death. That's not the case. It was spiritual death that God was talking about. When they ate that fruit, immediately they felt their sin, their nakedness. Outwardly, they looked fine. But inwardly, they were lost, and broken. They lost all connection to God. So God, banned them from the Garden of Eden, out of love and mercy. Why? Because just as there was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, there was the tree of Life. And if they partook from the tree of life, they would forever remain sinners. Because the tree of Life represents Jesus. But God couldn't just write this down. No one would believe it. Instead, He taught us through nature. Through works, and miracles, and the surroundings. You may find that hard to believe. I won't blame you. But, when they sinned, their flesh still looked the same. But their spirit was the one that changed. And God had to change that back. Sin, will forever remain in the flesh. But the spirit can be the sinless one. We are all crated in the likeness of God. Not our outward appearance. Our spirit. Cause God is spirit. So, the flesh can't be perfect. Because God isn't flesh. The spirit, can be perfect. Do you understand my point?

I sin, in the flesh. But I am no longer a sinner. You see, I don't live in my flesh anymore. I live in my spirit. The flesh will still sin, you can't stop it. Are you saying you don't sin anymore? Did you read the book of Mark? Cause even worrying is a sin. I'm saying, the flesh sins. But we're dead to the flesh. And alive in the spirit. There's a fine line between the two. Tell me, if you walk by the flesh, do you not sin? Truthfully, we all do. But Christ washed the spirit, not the flesh. It's all about the spirit. Cause your flesh isn't the one that's going to Heaven or Hell. It's your spirit. As long as you live and breathe on this earth, sin will still come out of your flesh. But it's the spirit that's made anew.

God bless.

I am saying by the power of /God and God alone one stops sinning by God's power in the resurrected Christ and this is only accomplished one day at a time, as in being co-crucified in Christ at Christ's death at the cross/
But remember this, if it is my flesh that is deceiving me in to thinking I am doing right. then I get a messenger of Satan as Paul did in 2cor 12, to buffet me, to show me I need Christ, for if I could ever be perfect in and of this unredeemed flesh then I would not need God.
God gets all the credit Sister all as you have said yourself. all Glory to God
So as in Forest Gump Run Forest Run, straight to the high calling in Christ putting whatever beset me behind me and move forward thanking God for Son, thus be taught how to say no to any all unrighteousness in Father without taking any credit for self all Father and none of me ever/ I am forever glad I have Jesus Christ the righteous as my Advocate, but that does not mean one has to sin over and over with out remorse as is why 1 Cor. was written to them from Paul to admonish their error(s)
Hebrews 2:3 how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

The flesh isn't bad. It will always sin, but it can be used for God. It's just that the flesh will fade away, but the spirit is the one that remains.
And Jesus baptism is where He took our sins. Both the Old Testament and the New Testament coincide with each other, Meaning, each verse has a back-up. In the Old Testament, the sins of Israel were paid for through the sacrifice of an animal. A priest from the Aaronic priesthood would lay his hands on the animal, and the sins of Israel were passed onto the animal. Then, the animal was killed, and the sins of Israel were paid for for an entire year. But, the blood of an animal was only temporal. So, God sent His son. Jesus is known as the Lamb of God. That's because Jesus was our sacrificial offering. John the Baptist, the one who baptized Jesus comes from the lineage of the Aaronic priesthood. So, in fact, he was qualified to pass the sins of the entire world onto Jesus. Unlike the animal, Jesus wasn't killed immediately. Instead, He lived His life for three years, for us. Then, He died, and resurrected three days later. The only reason Christ died, was because He had our sin on Him. Because a sinless man, cannot die. "For the wages of sin is death.."
Jesus was sinless. But, because our sins were on Him, and He became our sin bearer, He had to. There was no other choice.

This is basically a short version of it all. There's a reason the Bible is written the way it is.

God bless.
So you are saying that while Jesus carried out His Ministry He was a sinful man.......

You can't stop sinning in the flesh. Tell me, do you not sin? You do't even tell a white lie? Nothing? Absolutely nothing?

So you sir, sin no more? You're perfect? Is that what you're trying to say?

So just as you have said don't take it out of context, I never said I do not sin or have not sinned or won't ever sin again, I said we are to by grace learn to trust Father 100% so that we don't sin, never giving self the credit if one ever does come to this truth as 1 John 2:1 states and Romans 6:1 and many other places, maybe you are not reading the whole post that is posted by me, and have by that drawn the wrong conclusion? Are you as mature as you come across and act to be?
maybe re-read Hebrews 5:10 - 6:8

My maturity comes from the Lord. But over, and over again you've been stating that you do not sin. So, I just assumed. I apologize for making an assumption.

Tell me Sister if one is drowned by the rain can the rain trouble them anymore. so as it is with the flesh one if dead to it, (sin) how can it trouble one any more? This is what you apparently do not see or reckon yourself to be, dead to sin flesh by Christ at the cross of Christ
[h=3]Romans 6:1-4[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [SUP]2 [/SUP]God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? [SUP]3 [/SUP]Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? [SUP]4 [/SUP]Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

What does the above scripture say?

Funny, though, that scripture was written to people who excepted Christ. They were sinning and he was telling them to, in my own words, "knock it off". They were straying in fleshly things away from God.

That bible verse was intended for the spirit man. Not your flesh.

1 John 1

King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]5 [/SUP]This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
[SUP]7 [/SUP]But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

[SUP]9 [/SUP]If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

[SUP]10 [/SUP]If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

People can look at this verse in two ways. They can look at it as though it's meant for believers, or they can look at it as though it's meant for non-believers. It really depends on who's reading it.

Tell me this. You came to God because you were a sinner. But if you then sin no more, then what is the purpose of still needing God? Because we need a reminder once in a while to show us that we aren't perfect when it comes to our flesh, but to God, our flesh doesn't even matter. We need that reminder. And if you sin no longer, then how are you to get that reminder?

I used to do and think as you are thinking and as many others think this way to. not seeing what is said here in this verse below as to why we are still in our sins, not stepping over the picket line into the kingdom hidden in Christ
Galatians 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting

Only by one not believing they are dead to sinful flesh, with Christ on the cross, one is still subject to sin seeing how it is they are seriously trying not to sin, which only produces more sin

Praying God shows you this truth and that you can only daily die to self daily and daily be alive to God, never ever saying you won't sin again, why because you plain and simply do not know, and if you do sin you can say to Father thank you for that sin through Son is gone, So now Father can you teach me to say no to any and all unrighteousness? and the /Answer I got was yes my Son, now that you have finalized the cross of my Son where you are 100% forgiven and do not want to take advantage of this.
You see Sister the Devil wants us to sin, even if it is a little white lie, wants you to take God's Grace for granted, so that we can have guilt placed in us, when by Christ is finished AS HE SAID IT IS IN JOHN 19:30
iT IS FINALIZED DONE FINISHED Taken care OF
As you already know and yet are trapped into continuing sin, by flesh not being dead with Christ at his death

That's my point. But I'm talking about spiritual death. Tell me, will your flesh go to Heaven?

I am talking about Spirit Life given from God to us here and now in the dead Spirit that we were born with from the womb of Mom. This transfer from death to life is in the cross of Christ, Born dead in Spirit originally and alive in flesh to die in the flesh with Christ in the flesh at Christ's death to be made alive in the resurrected Christ in the spirit from Father

That verse you quoted. Notice that it says soweth in. Not has. Because you still have your flesh with you. And you can either sow in your flesh, or sow in your spirit. I am dead to sin. I believe that. But if I say I do not sin anymore, I make God a liar. Now, I wouldn't want to that, would I? What's the use of repentance? What's the use of it all if you say you sin no more. Yes, we're dead to sin, and alive in Christ, but that in the spirit. Not in the flesh. Can you honestly walk upright in your flesh? No. Why? Because the flesh doesn't need God. It's the spirit that needs His help and guidance.
