Hi everyone. O.K. I don't usually start threads but I was thinking it might be fun if there were others out there who liked Dancing with the Stars, and we could see what we were each thinking of the dancing each week as to who should stay and whatnot. I love the show, I only wish I could dance like they do even now, let alone how much they learn how to by the end!!!

Hi Grace! Thanks for even thinking about it, I do hope you will get into it, it is such fun just to watch them getting better each week! I have read some of the forums on the net on some DWTS sites, but the comments get rude and raunchy, so I thought it would be much more fun to talk about it in here with others who know how to "critique" without being mean. The first week has already run and they "eliminated" two couples last Wednesday, but with 14 more couples in the running, this season will go till late November I think. Plenty of time to have some fun! hahhaha It runs on Monday and Tuesday nights (just this first week was Wednesday night also) and starts at 8. (at least here it does....) Ohhh I really do hope you have the time to enjoy it and then share your thoughts on here with me!

To anyone else......Please come join in?? I'd love to have this to look forward to after the shows!!

Hi Sweetnshy!! I was so happy to see another post on here! And to have you say you looooove the show was even better!! I agree with you that the first two people eliminated wasn't a surprise, but I did feel bad for them (Macy Grey in particular) because they seemed pretty dissappointed. Everyone that is on the show seems to enjoy it so much! It has to be alot of work but it sure does seem alot of fun too. Can't wait for tonight's show....and I'm so looking forward to coming in here afterwards to see what we have to say about it all too!!

I am praying that you're still with us too, Grace!!!

Any other takers???? :)

My mom LOVES Dancing With The Stars. I've never watched an entire episode, but occasionally I'll get on YouTube and look up some of the dances. I watched Kelly Osbourne's routine and I thought she did pretty good.

Hi Melleah! I wish to enjoy any comments and enjoyment of the show that anyone wants to share, so even if you don't watch the whole thing in its entirity, it's OK!! Just post what you want when you can....on whatever you get to watch. I really loved Kelly Osborne's dance...considering it was their first dance of the season, she did very very good!! I've never been a huge Donny Osmond fan, but he had some promise too (and some performance talent --ie: he knows how to please the crowd!) I have trouble with the names of all the dancers the first coupla weeks......but there were several I liked, Aaron Carter wasn't bad and I enjoyed the snowboarder too..Louis?? A few other girls too, but as I say, I am bad with the names for a bit........ We will all know our favs soon enough I am sure!!!

well tonight I thought Aaron, Mya, and Donny were the best. I also thought Melissa did better than the judges thought she did, and I felt like she deserved a higher score. So far there isn't anyone I can't stand though...seems like every year there's one person that I want to leave and they end up lasting for a long time and it drives me crazy. :p

Hi everyone! Thanks Sweetnshy for your thoughts!
I really enjoyed Aaron (and Karina), Louis (and Chelsea), Melissa (and Mark), Donny (and Kim), Joanna (and Derek), Mark (and Lacey), and Mya (and Dmytry). No particular order! hahahha!! These are some of my "favorites" at this point, but I reserve the right to change my mind! hahha!! I felt that several people really improved including Debbie (and Max), Kathy (and Tony), Melissa (and Mark), and Donny (and Kim). I felt bad for Kelly, because of her nerves, (I didn't think that that was just for "show", I really do beleive she was nervous and pressuring herself because she was so high on the leaderboard last week and felt people were "expecting" her to keep it up) and felt she really didn't do bad for it being only the second week.
I have to admit that I have felt like you have Sweetnshy, a bit frustrated when someone who I felt should have been voted off within the first couple weeks lasts further than the middle! But since I don't actively vote.....I guess I shouldn't complain too much?? hahha I don't vote because I really don't know how?? I know that sounds lame 'cuz I'm sure it's not hard! also.....I am afraid of the "regular phone and text rates" that apply!!! hahaa
I just love all the dancing, I am waaaaaay too outa shape for the routines they put on, but I am with you Sweetnshy, I'd try it if I could!

Hi again! I just thought I'd share that while it wasn't a "shocker" to me that Kathy (and Tony) got eliminated last Tuesday, it did kinda surprise me, since I felt that she had improved. I guess I thought it would be Tom, although other than at the end of his dance when he musta felt his toe acting up and almost dropped Cheryl, he didn't do too bad. The injuries on this show are scarey sometimes. It's all probably because their bodies are not used to this type of thing...and they really do put in HOURS too!!! Debi (and Max) being in the "bottom two" was more of a "shocker" to me than Kathy ultimately being eliminated was, simply because I really, really expected Tom to go!! and he wasn't even in the bottom two!!! hahaa....see how goooood at this I am??? hahaa! I really didnt know the two guest singers and wasn't overly blown away with the Macy's thing this time either, but I can never skip anything, so that's why it took me this long to write about the results show. because I have been sick and last night was the first I had a chance to watch it! Anyways......I am looking forward to Monday nights dancing.....hope to see your thoughts too!!!

yeah, I was kind of disappointed that Kathy left, although not surprised. But Tony is one of my favorite pro dancers on that show, so I'll miss him being on each week! I'm actually hoping for Debi to go. I don't know why, but I just don't really like her, and I know the judges made a big deal about her improvement but I didn't see any improvement! I know Tom won't last too long, but I think he'll be on a few more weeks. People typically like to root for the oldest contestant for some reason!

I really like Tony too!! He is a phenominal dancer and very polite and kind, I think. I thought Debbie (or is it Debi??) did o.k. and maybe not better than the week before but maybe the dance suited her better?? However, I guess I am not a Max fan........ Tom does all right and Cheryl is a good partner for him I think too. I'd love for both Edyta and Tony to get great chances next season. Oh and looking back at my last posts I didn't put Kelly Osbourne (and Louis??) into my "favs" list..but they ARE up there even though she slipped up some last week. Looking forward to tomorrow night!

Oh I looooooooove Max! I know he's got attitude and he always has drama with his partners, but he's HOT! And the anger/attitude thing kind of makes him hotter. :p

Ok......here we are again, waiting for "results night" tonight. I really enjoyed all the different dances last night but the ones that stick out for me are ....well....all my "favs" I already listed!! I think Kelly is having a tougher time now that the time to practice is shorter, but if she can get a bit of confidence back up, she should be fine. There's something in her posture, that I can't quite identify, that is ..... off?? I think it lends to her being self conscious maybe, but I like her! Tom was in pain and went ahead and danced it out....was pretty good really. I have watched this show long enough to think it's very possible (maybe even probable) that he will stay (if he can) because people do tend to vote for the "underdog" hahaa. I think it may be either Tom or Debbie. Maybe they will be the bottom two?? Who knows...... I think Aaron is really trying hard and I really like Louis the snowboarder too. Donny will last till at least semi finals, and Kelly and Mya are two more of my favs....they are both fun to watch. (Although I didn't care for the song Mya had to dance to last week---but I DID love her costume!) As for Max.........well, I WILL say his DANCING is hot..............;)

Hi again! I didn't get a chance to watch the results last night, so I watched them this afternoon. Can't say I am either surprised or dissappointed that Debi (and Maks) was eliminated. Sad for Tom (and Cheryl) that his feet are so bad he had to withdraw, but I do feel it is best for him. It must have taken alot to dance on Monday! and he truly did do a fair to middlin' job of it too! (haha--one of my dad's sayings) I was pleased that Tom Bergerof invited him to come back for the finals to dance a two step if he was able to by then....cool. I really like Tom Bergerof as host...he is funny and quick! I love that combination! haha.... well....I hope to see some of you comment too......'till next week....GB

I wasn't really surprised either. And I wasn't a big Debi fan, so it's all good! I was actually kind of surprised they eliminated at all though, 'cause in the past whenever someone has to withdrawal, they don't eliminate anyone and just add the votes to next week. I agree about Mya and Donny...I think they'll both make the semi-final. Aaron also has a good chance and I'm starting to really like Natalie! I thought they were kind of mean to the football player though. Yeah, his dance wasn't all that great, but neither was Chuck's and the judges all raved about his energy and creativity. The football guy had energy and creativity too, and I thought his technique was better than Chuck's!

Well, I guess I am going to try to resurrect this thread..we will see how it goes. I guess I will start with where we left off (if I can remember that far back!!! hahhaaa!!) and say that a week ago when Chuck (and Anna) was voted off I was a bit dissappointed it wasn't Michael (and Anna). I felt the week before (which was the week you last posted about) they were equal in dancing..but the following week, I felt Michael was less than good. I feel like Louis (and Chelsea) are maybe getting votes from fans because they are "cute" and young and people want to think they are becoming a "couple" even outside the dance studios. I think if they were voted for (or NOT voted for as the case may be) strictly on the dancing..they would be in the bottom two or three. (or maybe should be??) And I personally do think they are young and cute! hahah So last week Chuck (and Anna) got voted off and I was dissappointed but not upset...now this week Natalie was voted off and I was both dissappointed AND upset! I really felt that Michael (and Anna coulda went, or Louis (and Chelsea) or even Aaron (and Karina) but not really...neither Aaron (and Karina) nor Natalie (and Louis) should have even been in the bottom two. Well...not in my humble opinion anyway. I really like Melissa (and Mark) and hope she keeps improving ..and stays in. I root for Aaron (and Karina) and for Kelly (and....I'm drawing a blank?? sorry!!!!) I think I am about done rambling.....but one more thing, I think the reason they still eliminated Debi (and Max) the week Tom (and hence Cheryl) withdrew from the competion, was because they have x amount of weeks to air.....and so there was going to be another "double elimination night" somewhere anyways...and this way it evened it out without that happening. They did have 14 couples to start with this season!!!

Hi again........very dissappointed here. I have thought Michael (and Anna) should have been eliminated for a coupla weeks now, and they still hung in there even with double eliminations last night...I don't get it! hahaha I will especially miss Louis (and Chelsea) and Natalie (and Louis) and Melissa (and Mark). At this point, I can't imagine who may be the finalists I just hope it isn't Michael (and Anna)!!!! I haven't gotten alot of feedback from this thread......if I don't hear from anyone..I guess I will let it go......I don't want to talk to myself anymore!!!

Agreed--Natalie should NOT have gone as soon as she did! Michael isn't doing so well and Louis hasn't been either, so they both should have gone long before she did. I wasn't surprised with Louis really...I was kind of disappointed with Melissa, but I didn't love their dance this week either. Michael needs to go very soon. I don't dislike him, but if we're basing this on talent, he needs to be the next to go! I was also glad Aaron wasn't in the bottom this week. THAT was driving me crazy, that he kept landing in the bottom when he's one of the best dancers, and Michael kept getting saved. Anyway.....we'll see what happens! America doesn't always get it right!
