Just a fyi, there are many many very wealthy people who are very generous. To be wealthy does not necessarily mean you are greedy.....

only marxists believe that

Not all rich people worship their money and put it before God.....

only marxists believe that

Saving money is not evil either, or earning interest as the parable of talents show....

only marxists believe that.

The rule under Christ will not steal from those who have earned it and give it to others who will vote for the people who steal the money. Christ will truly be Lord and King. Complete master. A Monarchy. No voting. No democracy. Our will, will be totally submitted to Christ.

Liberalism is truly and without a doubt satanic. Its poster child, the example under which all liberal ideology hinges upon, ideologically, is abortion. The abdication of personal responsibility resulting in the death of a human being.

Compassion? Liberalism is anti-compassion but it sure can use people who want to think they are compassionate by forcing others to be.... by the way whatever happened to the liberal mantra live and let live?

Unless you are a christian....liberalism and christianity are polar opposites. Where liberalism flourishes, christianity is always under attack.

I will add, conservatism without being tempered by christianity can be bad but a liberal christian?

That defines oxymoron.

One can hate evil without hating people deceived by evil. The Christians that were terribly persecuted by the Marxists in the USSR and China last century overall did not hate their tormentors who murdered, tortured, starved, robbed, imprisoned, etc... religious people to such an extent a new word had to be invented to describe the horror inflicted (e.g. democide).

Marxists took children from their parents, simply because they were religious, and raised them in clinical state run orphanages where they were persecuted for being the children of "political criminals" and forced to go through Marxist indoctrination while their parents were either shipped to the hard work gulag prison systems (where most died after suffering terribly) or simply committed to mental institutions to be used as guinea pigs (after all anyone who believes in God must be crazy right?).

They destroyed a huge amount of historical architecture, art, literature, etc... simply because it was deemed "religious" and therefore "unprofitable" to the state.

They projected their power to do evil over much of the world in the 20th century keeping entire countries, like Romania for example, in an Orwellian state of complete submission and bondage to state atheism that is hard to communicate in a simply paragraph.

The Christians there endured it all praying for their deceived Marxist persecutors until the entire Marxist USSR system collapsed and the Chinese finally relented and rewrote their Constitution to acknowledge a measure of religious freedom.

Today it's a complete turnaround. In Russia, a place where one could easily be sent to a hard labor prison camp and worked to death merely for admitting to being a Christian, 83% of Russia has reverted back to the Russian Orthodox Church with up to 1.5 million Protestants emerging. In China, even though persecution still occurs there, Christianity is growing rapidly.

Most intellectuals in Russia today wish Christian socialism, a mid-19th century competitor of Marxism, had been implemented in their country rather than the godless state atheism of Karl Marx.

There are legitimate branches of liberalism just like there are legitimate branches of conservatism. Classical liberalism and paleoconservatism are two primary examples. Unfortunately, we don't see either at work in today's world much anymore especially in the U.S. which bodes ill for the future.

i pray to God the tea party never wins a national election. It would be time to find a new country then.
Don't worry about looking for a new country......... you'll be living in one soon enough.

That's actually not true at all. Yes, there are some people who take advantage of the system. I'll grant you that. But it's not as often as the standard Republican party proposes.

And concerning the issue about illegitimate children? Would you say the same thing if your daughters/granddaughters were stuck in this situations? Mistakes happen...but the children should not be allowed to suffer because of poor decisions about the mother. I just finished a project about a scenario of a teenage mother and the things she has to endure. I think it would be better if the church would stop being so critical about decisions made in the past. They already get enough criticism from their families. Yes, there are teens similar to what was seen on Jerry Springer before...but that's not the majority of what happens.
My friend, I wish that were true. I've lived in the projects, 'da hood' if you would. I lived in a place where a daughter lived beside her mother, raising illegitimate children just like dear 'ole Mom. It happens all the time. There are many 'career mothers' in the system. But there are real needy people there too. Most of these 'career' people either have a working man living with them, or a disabled husband working under the table. Saving money is the next best thing to making money. Many don't pay a dime in rent or utilities.

Consumerism is worldly. Be wary of its entangling snares.

The problem with your analogy is you're forgetting the part where the guy who take 9 1/2 slices also built the pizza place, the ovens, financed the contractors who built the building, installed the lighting, electricty, etc.

Could he take less slices? yeah. Three would be enough to cover expenses and make a profit. There's nothing immoral about it though as long as workers are justly compensated for their work.

Still don't like it? Then get a house, an oven, and some pizza ingredients and make your own pizza. Who knows, maybe you'll succeed at ousting the guy before you from the marketplace because you were able to sell your pizzas and only take two slices since you already paid for the house to live in. Of course, then you'll probably be on here trying to explain to someone the fallacy of complaining about the fact that you take two pizzas instead of being a good commie*.
Hmmmm....... Did anyone forget the guy that bought the franchise did so with 'big money' investors whose sole purpose is to either to buy out the little guy or drive him out of business in the 1st place til only the 'big money' owns everything through dummy corporations that disguise who's doing it in the first place so that the public doesn't notice that they are surrounded by corporate monopolies? Now, hopefully we can understand this a little bit better.;)

Hence the problem with a Mixed (partially socialist) economy.

Most millionaires are self made.
Not true. There are some self-made ones, yes, but most are born with platnium spoons in their mouths, born from rich families that marry into other rich families, like the monarchs do. This is why the wealthy have very little compassion on others...... they're taught not to, that the others are there simply to make them richer, nothing more. Their parents teach them that, like theirs before them. This is why the super-wealthy are the puppet-masters in all the governments, secretly working to usher in a New World Order for the Antichrist. Who else could afford to do it?

It really doesn't matter what label you put on it.......
Neither which party is blamed for doing it......
You could start 10 more political parties & vote for a independent as president, it wouldn't stop what the greedy puppeteers are doing.......

Does it sound like I'm being terribly negative? I'm not. I'm just looking at the 'system' that's ushering in the Antichrist. They've had control for quite a few generations now, & they will continue to wield the real power in this world. Why? It must be so to fulfill the plan of God. This must come to pass.... you can't fight it. What we're supposed to do is win the lost, not the govt. or its system.

The church's responsibility isn't to build a utopia........ It's to take people to the one already made by God.
John 14:1-3 (KJV) [SUP]1 [/SUP]Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. [SUP]2 [/SUP]In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [SUP]3 [/SUP]And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

I do not vote. That's right, I am neither a Republican or a Democrat but if you must know, I have voted Republican (So please don't yell out I am a Democrat because of what I am going to say). I agree that Republican politicians lack compassion.

What do you base this claim on?

If you truly want to see real elitism just sit back and let marxists take over and our nation becomes socialist. Ya think capitalism makes few rich and most poor? LOL Socialism makes a few marxists rich and the rest under their thumb...fed or not...housed or not a slave is still a slave.

Sad that a people saved by the shed blood of our Lord and God, Who sacrificed His life through painful torture so we might know the freedom in Him would stoop to such levels to deny that freedom. To bend to the god of this world, the self worship of mankind through tyranny.

The tyranny of unlimited compassion. The utopia marxist state. Power in the hands of the enlightened and freedom for none.

I'll take freedom, personal responsibility and the right to fail or succeed by the sweat of my brow and the God I follow, Christ Jesus.

I think the majority of developed countries out there are all extremely liberal in flavor. So take your pick. But leave us poor conservatives a bastion of safety. With the influx of liberal Mexicans into Texas as well as immigrants from the outside liberal world I think you're going to get your wish. Lucky you. I feel that the conservative half of the USA, though, gets to go nowhere. This is it.

Here's an interesting read for those interested in the historical "what could have been" for the 20th century.

Russian alternatives to Marxism: Christian socialism and idealistic liberalism in twentieth-century Russia

I want what is decent for humanity, its called The Gospel. All the rest is obedience.

Government is to submit to God. What would that look like, zone?
