In less than two hours I have someplace I need to go to....and I'm no where near being ready. Guess it's time to go into the real world and socialize with people other than family members!

Had the most wonderful couple help me shovel my parking spot in the back lane. They were both deaf and I knew a bit of sign language. I was very grateful for the help :) This was just after I spoke to a police officer about my car in which he stated that Winnipeg is full of jerks. I told him that there are kind people in the city (because there are!) but he wouldn't hear it.

Tonight was....I dunno. Very tempting to completely leave my home church's youth group. It is. I don't wanna be like that. But I went to youth tonight, and nobody noticed I was there, and no one noticed I'd been gone. Well, not no one. 2 people out of 50 noticed me, beyond the worship team.

I wonder if I just make myself that unapproachable there.

Is that like...the next level down from being "the wind beneath my wings"?

What is wrong with my brain?!
I looked at that really fast, and I thought it said,
"the weird beneath my wings."

And I was sitting here thinking, "Yeah, that's deep."

: )

I actually just sang the line, "You are the flesh beneaaath the naaaaail itself...and you are the wing beneath my wings..." out loud. It made me laugh to actually hear it.

I figure if I paint the nails then I don't have to think about what's going on. It's denial at its finest. :D

Sometimes those who don't notice us, it's best they remain unseen, not noticed, so that we can continue to be seeing God as He wants us to see things. And, for those who don't see us, there's a real God reason for that, not sure what that is, but, it's important to be brave and trust God when it comes to those who are and aren't noticing us, making us feel unnoticed. And we should pray that He shows us our own hearts of what He wants us to notice from, first, being unseen.

Sometimes, too, God does want us to be noticed, it's just us not noticing how He wants us to notify them that we want to be noticed, for that's an act of faith often and belief in doing something 'out there' that makes us turn our heads the other way from where He wants us to really turn.

I'm not a crier, but I feel like crying.

I don't think I'm supposed to feel this depressed after doing praise and worship.

I need sleep. Or to read a book. Or both.

I don't know!!

Why are people so....so...I don't know!!

People are making me eye-twitchin' crazy over here.

...I think a book would be better. I don't sleep well anyways.

I resisted the temptation to bring Miss Kitty (who I have since checked and discovered is actually MR. Kitty) into the house. However, with the constant below-zero temperatures, I'm feeling pretty bad for the poor little guy. Gave him more food and water. Took an old pillow and thick blanket out to a seat on the porch where he's been sitting, and created a little soft, insulated kitty-cave that I really hope he has the sense to curl up in tonight.

I HATE CATS!!
...cuz they're like a huge dose of guilt, wrapped in a soft furry coat...
