This is not contest, but as the opening act for El Paso Wind Symphony. A/V quality isn't perfect, but it was their almost-best performance. By UIL standards, this would be right on the line between a Division I and a Division II. (Actually, two weeks after this performance, at contest, they played it worse than this and the three judges scored them II - II - I.)

EDIT: Word of warning to lil_chrisitian, there actually is simulated cannon fire in this. The piece depicts the Nazi invasion of Moscow in 1941, and 2/3 of the way through, there's a musical depiction of the battle with warning bells, cannons, and sirens.
haha, thanks for the warning. :p I'll have to listen to this when I get home from church. :)

Man...I stayed up WAY TOO LATE LAST NIGHT!!

6 hours of sleep. 16 ounces of coffee. 10 grams of sugar.

Here we go.

Don't worry, its natural to feel that way when coming back after an injury. They will be glad to have you back, and your new hair will make them like you even if they're not. :)
Aww thanks that's kind of you to say

Going to church, then the final Nutcracker performance. I checked in during an intermission of one of the shows yesterday and got upset because I was missing a music geek discussion on augmented 6th chords. Oh well, another time, I suppose. :D

Careful, DK, the Lord leads. If she's a Christian, that's good, but, if you really like her, then, I would start looking for another job.

Nothing will say love to her if your company has a policy in place or looks down on employees dating (the majority of companies, I think, frown on internal affairs, so to speak) , and, you leave your job because you like her THAT much, so there, is no internal struggle , or, no chance for a break-up because a friendly break-up is over-rated, unusual, too. I would be serious in consideration on this one, it's more than 'awkward' to me . Not saying it can't work either :)

But, yeah, the Lord knows perfect, so, pray it all over a few times with Him, and, then, I would lace them sneakers up and do what Joseph did...........

Fleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. :)
Maybe more importantly, Spiritually. for is not the battle Spiritual, the thoughts of the mind that take control of the emotions, that take control of the thoughts as James said
First this thought, then think on it and try to stop it and then what happens with the thoughts trying to stop it? Hmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and then sins born
[h=3]James 1:14-16[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]14 [/SUP]but every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. [SUP]15 [/SUP]Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. [SUP]16 [/SUP]Do not err, my beloved brethren.
Running from in the physical does not turn away the thought(s).
Our Battle is spiritual brother and it is God in the lead that overcomes through us if we remain in trusting god to do in us what we can't do in self-flesh
Hope and praying you are hearing with your Spiritual ears God has given you?
And I am speaking to me as well.

Thank you Homewardbound. This is the second friend I have going through a divorce this year. I talked to my friend Kris earlier, then after work last night went and sat with my life long friend Susie who's also getting divorced. I am praying for them and trying to be supportive and not bashing the ex but trying to help them move on.
You will stand in trust for Father's words through you and even surprise self in the midst of trusting
Matt. 10:16-20, I think is still valid to all that believe. Not just the Disciples at that time.

When I was a kid I wasn't allowed to believe in Santa, the Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy etc. Did any of you grow up like that too?
Yes and when I was 13, I asked Mom, have you not told me that God hates lies and to not lie?
She said yes, and I said then why have you allowed the lies and acted as if they are truth when they are not?
No answer and prayerfully shows the hypocrisy of the flesh and that no flesh ever pleases God.
Also the psychological measure as to when one finds out that they have been lied to, Could this play a part on us as to believe God or not?
I mean what else have we been lied to about and excuse it as a white lie?
So I say read the whole word for self to see God the creator of all why?
Because bottom line God does just lover us all. so maybe one needs to respond and quit trying to create to our own pleasures you think?

I dunno...I never did that "growing up" business...are you suggesting that Santa, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy aren't REAL?

...be verrrry careful how you answer that question, or you'll be crushing the dreams and hopes of an over-grown child....
What is better truth or a lie?
I mean the sky is green isn't it?

When one has been lied to and finds out how disheartening is that?

No I was allowed, never was told otherwise until I got older :) If you had kids would you?

I don't think I would. I was lied to about soooo much as a kid, and I still sorting out all that nonsense. I just don't think I could lie to my kids about it.

Okay, so I got chewed out because I can't read minds, I'm not psychic, and I don't know about secret family rules I'm supposed to follow.

Aaaahhhhhhh!

I wanted to lay out a logical argument about how I shouldn't be blamed for not knowing "the rules", but I realized it was pointless. This is how it's always been in my family, and that's not going to change. I've tried talking about how we need to discuss things, be open about how we feel in a situation, and by the looks I get you'd think I grown a second head! Am I out of line to expect some sort ofconsistency? The kicker is that everyone thinks things are just peachy. Everything's great. No problems here. Keep moving.

Grrrrrrrrr

Life is super difficult when someone keeps changing the rules and expectations, and then yells at you because you didn't just "know".

But, I think I'll just spend half the day outside in the snow, putting up Christmas lights, and in between grumbling about it, maybe God would like to hear from me.

Because I was avoiding Him...and I told Him I'd stop it, but I haven't. Not really.

In other news, I reeeeeally hate the way certain foods smell when they're frying. *gag*
