A fun thread about things we don't understand. This is meant to be silly, so please no "I don't understand why men/women do this" or anything too negative because if you do that then I will hunt you down and feed you to a den of vicious ducks.

I will start:

I just don't understand where all my socks go after I do the laundry. Without fail, one will always be missing.

I just don't understand why my cats think that 3 AM is the best time to pretend that my room is their race track and I am an obstacle they must overcome.

I just don't understand why anyone would drink skim milk. That's water.

I don't understand how things with wires and cords can form knots that are more complex than anything you'd learn in the Boy Scout handbook.

My dad insists they are alive and do it on purpose soon as he turns his back, no matter what he does to prevent it.

How can you hate something that is quiet and leaves you alone? I love things that are quiet and leave me alone.

I just don't understand how I can use something, set it down, come back for it five minutes later, and it's gone.

I also don't understand why my cat (Princess Zelda) has to jump at me every time I walk past her and try to attach herself to my shoulder.

Oh! And...
I hate cats.

I can't stand cats either. They ignore you when you try to pet them and attack you when you want to be left alone. Don't see the fun in that.

I don't understand why stores mark base prices of items up roughly 100% what they normally cost about a week before a big advertised sale, then during the sale they slap a 50% off price tag on it.......and mass amounts of people buy all the marked down stuff up like it's going out of style..........without realizing that they "fell" for it. They actually walk away feeling like they got a bargain yet they never suspect the truth.

If a cat doesn't like you, they ignore you until they get used to you.

If a dog doesn't like you, you lose a hand, or worse. :p

I don't understand why some people come into a business about 5 minutes before it's going to close and start shopping.

I don't understand why people don't have their pets fixed. I mean spayed or neutered, then they complain when the animal get's pregnant, WELL DUH!

Also I don't know why manufacturers sell items with cords/wires, then wrap said wires with plastic/packaging so tight, it takes surgical precision to get the wrapping off without actually damaging/nicking/cutting the wires.

I just don't understand how I can set my headphones down and then when I come back, they are a tangled mess. I think they're like the toys in Toy Story, where when you aren't looking, they come alive and think "LOL let's me make her frustrated."

It's because she's bored and needs someone to play with her to release that hunting instinct on the toy, and not on you. :p

That happens when wires mate with each other to make more wires and more mess.

They are like snakes...
