Never mind that many of you rarely look at PAST HISTORY to see WHAT HAS ALREADY BEEN FULFILLED. Read Josephus and see if you can really remain a dispensationalist. See how much of his history of the Jewish wars sounds an awful lot alike what Revelation was speaking of.
Here is the thing Sarah. No Dispensationalist I know of is afraid to study and examine Past History.
We just allow the Scriptures to teach us its Doctrine.
Now are there things in the Scriptures which have already been fulfilled? Absolutely, there definitely are things that have been fulfilled already in the Scriptures.
But there are also many things which still have not been fulfilled in the Scriptures. And two of those things is the Rapture of the Body of Christ and the time of Jacob's trouble.
And many if not most of the things in Revelation have not been fulfilled yet.
The man of sin, the son of perdition was not around in the apostle John's time. The mark of the beast was not around in the 1st century. The plagues, vials, and other judgments in Revelation also did not take place in the first century. It is rather evident Sarah, that everything from Revelation 4 and on has not been fulfilled yet.
I do understand though that every verse in the Scripture has a Historical application. Just as it has a Spiritual/ Devotional application, and a Doctrinal application.
