Aww, I'm sure you're beautiful just the way you are. I'm sorry that happened...it's sad to have a loved one do that kind of thing.

Thanks, lil. <3 I'm actively working on getting over it, haha. I just thank God for another opportunity to exercise my forgiveness muscles ;D

My mom made this super awesome soup tonight using turkey broth and meat. I could have ate the whole pot tonight. :p

My Christmas presents were $30 from my grandparents, and a time card for my cell phone from my parents. At this point, these practical types of gifts are what I like best.

Ah, the gifting comes full circle.

8 years old: "Clothes? USEFUL THINGS? Ugh."
20 years old: "CLOTHES!!! USEFUL THINGS!!! YAY!"

Sooooo true. I used to really not like getting clothes (unless it was for my barbies. Then I was okay with it. :p), though at the end if the day, I was thankful with what I got. :) Now I'm glad when I get clothes and stuff. Though I still don't get why I always get so much jewelry some Christmases.

You know what's worse than an itchy shoulder? You have an itchy shoulder when your nails are still a bit wet from the nailpolish. So you can't scratch it.

boxing? shopping? what? boxing has nothing to do with shopping... boxing is about 2 people punching each other in a ring until someone gets a KO

Could say that about Black Friday. Sounds like some horrible tragedy happened on the day

It's one thing to buy someone exercise/diet related items for Christmas IF you're absolutely SURE that they want them and you can easily imagine them jumping for joy upon receiving said items.

Its another thing when the recipient has expressed absolutely no desire for such items.

The implications are especially painful when the "gifts" come from your mother and consequently provoke your brother to point and laugh at you for the rest of the day.

:(

These things are always viewed about being all about weight loss, as if to indicate you're fat. Perhaps it had less to do with that and more to do with taking care of yourself and being healthy.

I've been uncharacteristically productive this afternoon/evening. Sure, my family is sitting here starving clear to death because I haven't so much as a clue what to cook them for dinner, and sure the dishes are still piled up from yesterday's brunch, and yeah, there's a mountain of laundry lurking behind my bedroom door...
But I cleaned the living room and put the Christmas tree away.
And I'm considering trying out the pack of markers I got to color with...
*sigh*
I guess I should cook some food, too.

Finally home. Interestingly crazy-buns day. Wow. People are just,ummm...er,let's just say it's a really really good thing that I'm not God. lolz

I must admit I feel a bit of shame that I have now finished my final slice of coconut pie.

Oh well,it had a good run. I made it last 4 days! *facepalm*

Yep,rambling now...

So I'm off tomorrow..................... what trouble can I get into this evening. *lights vanilla candle & cranks up the Celldweller*

* I live on the edge folks*

I didn't purchase anything for myself, but mom and I got my dad a hard gun case for $29. Today is his birthday. Kinda stinks for him being born one day after Christmas. I despise shopping, though. Wading through moody masses of determined shoppers is not my idea of a good time.

And the store staff all feel like this post-Christmas...
