@ lil_christian....I know,dude what is up with High Fructose Corn Syrup in like EVERYTHING???? I swear they're trying to kill us all off slowly. (interpret "they" however you'd like...lol) I forgot that I do enjoy Diet 7-Up & Gingerale on occasion too.

Folding things "correctly" is a waste of time! I got places to be...things to do. Ummmm...ok,I don't really,but...yeah...swiftly moving on.

I worked with a chef once who used to drink three to four 2 Liters of Dr. Pepper a day (and lord knows how many glasses of it he'd consume in his 8-10 hr shift) He decided he was going to stop drinking it,and he said it was like he was having terrible migraines,angry...snapping at his wife & kid...just freaking out...I guess like when some people try to quit smoking. His body must have been so addicted to the sugar & caffeine that it went into shock without it.

In other news.....dang it's cold out.

Ginger ale isn't all that bad. In fact sometimes it's pretty good for the stomach when you get the right stuff.

I have to ask. Why do they call it ginger ALE when there's no alcohol in it?

Makes it sound like I'm condoning underage drinking... eek.

Talked on the phone for a while with my best friend last night. Found out things I feel ill equipped to help her with. Love her like a sister, wish I could give her advice, direct her away from the path she's going...
But she didn't ask for advice.
So I kept my mouth shut and tried to just listen, and when the conversation ended, I was more confused than ever about life...the universe...everything.

OK - need to catch up properly. No time to see the towel folding video right now, as much as I need to organize my linen closet. Maybe that will be something exciting I can do while waiting for the ball to drop.

The Chinese can make glowing pigs? I think a good name for a band would be "Incandescent Bacon."

Thanks to all who have responded to my posts about my daughter, and who have been praying. You guys have brought me to tears several times recently. I can't thank you enough.

I didn't mean to make it sound like this was new to me or anything. To clear up matters:

She's been seeing a therapist for this for a while and is currently on medication. As her mother is a school teacher and has a similar schedule to my daughter, her mom takes her to these appointments, and sometimes they talk, though my daughter says she would prefer not to talk to her mother about any of this either. The other night was particularly bad. Bad thoughts during the night is one of the things she is dealing with, so she called her mom to pick her up and left me a note explaining that to find in the morning.
