Thank you for sharing how you and your sweetheart met and fell in love/got struck by lightning, dear sister!!! SO CUTE!!!

Oh, that is an awesome plan, Dear Mama Fenner!!! :D Thank you so much for your support!!! XD I'm sure Descyple already got the message :p But if said stale donuts comes in his favorite flavor, he might actually enjoy getting pelleted by those donuts!!! XD

Thank you so much for your sweet prayer of well wishes for us!!! It's been a delight sharing to all of you our crazy ideas. But yes, he's the prettier one of us two :p (i don't think i even come close!!! XD).

So true  All this is totally unexpected!!! And totally different from anything i've been in in the past. Everything just feels so comfortable, natural. Peaceful, and worry-free  I'm not used to it XD my past was totally messed up. I'm still lost for words when i think about now, to be honest XD all the same, i am more than grateful to Papa GOD for all that HE has done for us :)

You're such a sweet person Azura, I've never seen a picture of you, but I'm sure you're very pretty. And Descyple, sure he's pretty but does look good in a skirt? I doubt it!

My past is ugly too. There have been many times I want to go back and erase things, but I lean on God and ask he forgives me all the time.

Awwww that's awesome. :) Azure I truly hope this works out for you. ♥ You display such an amazing faith and a wonderful sense of humor, a guy would have to be blind and deaf not to see how awesome you are. :D
Oh, dear sweet Lil, thank you so much!!! :) I'm very touched by your well wishes for us, and i'm sure Descyple is, too :)

I am honored and humbled that you see me as having those qualities :) To be honest, i've always felt that i lacked so much faith, and every other virtue, for so many years...i was ashamed of myself, and i couldn't call myself a good Christian. I truly asked for Papa GOD to fill what is lacking in me...i struggled for years, wallowing in self-pity and despair... But Papa GOD never gave up on me :) In time, when i was finally ready to seek HIS face and listen to HIS call, i was finally set free from everything that was holding me back from believing and trusting in HIS promises and love for me completely, after HE revived me. Then day by day, HE has taught me so many things i've never learned before from HIS Word :) Drawing me deeper in love with HIM, and making my faith and trust in HIM grow stronger, as i witnessed the awesome works of HIS hands, and the depth of HIS love for us all :) All that i am, and all that is within me, i owe to HIM and HIM alone!!!! :D

As for him being deaf and blind...he might be? It's a wonder that my freakish laughter hasn't scared him off yet, and that he hasn't realized yet that i am nothing as pretty as he is :p

That's the (one of like a bazillion) thing's about God...He forgives us no matter how wretched we are or think we are...past is the past as though it never was. We beat ourselves up so much, and He must just look at us & say "Why?"..."I see you through my Son."

I think that's why it always astounds me at times when we hold people's pasts against them & judge them. You see that many times in relationships with men & women when they are dating or even worse when they are married. They bring up stuff from their partner's past or whatever,it's terrible. Even more so when this type of behaviour goes on in a "Christian" household. *sigh* but anyways...yeah..God is awesome & faithful & amazing even we are being foolish.

Again...forgive my ramblings this morning...even after my shower I am all discombobulated. lolz

My past has come back to haunt me a couple of times. Unfortunately I know some people who live in the past and think I'm still the way I was years ago. It's a reminder to me that I never want to be that naive again.

As long as I am a constant ray of sunshine and never have a rough day and never behave like a human being and don't get overwhelmed and feel nothing but happiness all the time and never utter a negative word about anything...
Then this is all fine. Wonderful. Lovely.

The moment I break, so does the carefully crafted illusion.

Something in me snapped months ago.
Maybe carry a "tune" not a grudge, maybe?

You can never know your limits, your true potential, if you never push yourself, physically, spiritually and mentally. I know how to push myself physically and mentally, but spiritually is different. I have seen the fruits of pushing my self physically and I want that same fruit in my spiritual life. How does one go about pushing themselves spiritually so that they can grow? Something to ponder.
Trust in the living word from God as an example do you believe this verse all by itself from God to you through Son?
Colossians 1:22 in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

If you believe God then your Spiritual journey has begun, by God in you, you just remain in trust, and whenever you know you made a mistake, tell God thank you and ask to be taught how you took a left when you should have made a right.
God is Faithful to carry on the work he began in you.
Read all of col. 1 on slowly and see it is all by Faith (belief)

I say stoooopid 'cause love is all dumb & junk.

I really am happy for the both of you guys...now hurry up & get hitched,I haven't got all day!;)
(in God's time,I know I know) :p
Oh, iTORE!!! You are such a sweet, mushy deary!!! Thank you for liking our posts!!! :D We'll be waiting for those bear hugs of yours ;)

Now, now...he still has to see me in person  i warned him that i'm not as human-looking when up close!!! :p (he knows i'm from Mars, but he doesn't seem to care!!! XD)

If he still thinks i'm not too much of an alien up close for his tastes, he might actually go down on bended knee in time  Who knows?

I have always loved this song. I am reminded of it this morning, when I read what Fenner & Azure have posted about their pasts...and how wonderful God is to us.How he saved us all in our darkest times.I know this song is coming from the perspective of the singer being a woman, but It resonates with me as well because God is God and He is the most loving, faithful thing that has ever been in my life, and without Him there's no doubt in my mind that I would even be alive today.

Ok..once again I am being all sappy. (Imma blame A & D for all this!):p

I understand, dear sister. Me, too...the past haunts me, every now and then. And i still have personal struggles internally, everyday. But i cling to HIS Word and to HIS promises :) I know HIS love for us never changes and remains as strong and true and immeasurable as it was, right from the beginning. No matter what happens, we are HIS, and HIS work of perfection in us continues daily until HE completes it in HIS time :) The day of our Christ!!!

Until then, HIS strength that is made perfect in our weakness, and HIS amazing grace and love is more than enough to sustain us, and keep us abiding in HIM, praising HIS holy and glorious name!!!

I could do something really useful today. I could clean the house...which needs it...it's weird how much of a disaster it can get over just the course of the morning.
I could do laundry. Because that's an adventure around here.
I could go through the massive amounts of toys around here and set aside at least half of them to give away.

Think I'll paint my finger nails.
...and play in the snow.

I am wondering how my old neighbor, "Scowling-Russian-Woman-with-Tiny-Dog" is doing. When I first moved here, she would be out in the lot with her tiny dog and a babooshka scarf over her head. I would wave to her as I drove out. She would look up, maintain her frown, and watch as I headed out.

This would go on for months. I made it my mission to befriend her. One day, I waved to her and when she saw that I had kids in my car, I saw a hint of a smile. After still a few more months, Scowling-Russian-Woman-with-Tiny-Dog looked up at me, still frowning, but returned my wave. Success!

I developed this fantasy that her name was Olga, and that we would have interesting chats in the parking lot where she would say such things as "You like beets but have never had borscht? I make you some borscht!" Over delicious soup, she would mention that her daughter, Svetlana, was soon coming from the Old Country and needed someone to help her with American customs. Svetlana would be about my age, strikingly beautiful, and we would get along famously.

Scowling-Russian-Woman-with-Tiny-Dog and I met at the mail boxes one day. It turns out that her name was Judy and she was of German descent, not Russian at all. She confessed to me that she was experiencing money troubles and facing eviction. I realized this was the reason for all the frowns. For all the scowls. There was no Svetlana. There was no borscht. Just an old woman with too much weight on her shoulders full of worry and fear. She was evicted a couple weeks after our conversation.

I don't know why I'm writing. Maybe there was a lesson to be learned - that I should be more encouraging and open in sharing about how God provided for me through various miracles - or maybe that I should realize that many who appear unfriendly are just hurting or preoccupied with worry. Maybe both these things. Yeah....probably both these things.

I did so many bad things. I actually prefer to remember (once I got over the shock) so I can see what Jesus Christ rescued me from. He's merciful.

Magic erasers...pssh, "magic"...do not, in fact, remove black ink off of walls that are only painted with primer.
Nor do they remove marker "art" from the door of the refrigerator.

Bleach, on the other hand...
takes the stinkin' primer right off the wall, and leaves streaks across the fridge door that make it obvious I've never once gotten the dang thing properly clean before.
