This is the first time I've watched the Super Bowl in years, and the only game I watched this season. That's right, I'm not into sports but my lady wanted to watch the game.

All I can say is the game gave a whole new meaning to the phrase "beating a dead horse"
I thought that was the Melbourne Cup? I mean the Stupid-Hats,-Fashion-and-Food,-And-Oh,-Yes-There's-Horse-Racing-Too festival.

I don't watch football much, don't know much about it. This game was more boring then regular games. Even the commercials were sort of lame.

I want to be really good at something. I feel like I'm only average at many things: music, video games, cooking, writing, art. I don't have that one talent, in my opinion, that I'm fantastic at. Maybe that's only my opinion, but I want to work on that. Then again, is it really something you work on or pick out to do? :/

I've always felt that way, I'm not good at making crafts, my cooking is OK. I don't have any artistic talent. I have no idea what my creative outlet would be. Like Tin Tin, I love to read, I can write a little. I don't do it often. I can't knit or sew. I've never found my niche as far as that stuff goes.

People say, oh your good with children and adults, your patient and nice. But that's not what I mean.

That's a
, rache. a big plus.

It's positive when we can think like that, and, we give that to God and He gives us back signs + He increases our faith as we follow His signs for us.

What's someone good at? God's gifted everyone differently, and, you're after God, and, offer insightful things to singles to hear, often, on c.c., you're introspective. In God's eyes, not to mention, ours on c.c. I don't think too many would disagree (like 'none'), that you are a sweet girl who says things that others can understand, and, even, strengthen their way of living and relationship with the Lord. :)

Terrifically exciting ALL the way through for this green guy, julieannie, 'course, I live a half hour from 'The Clink.' (Qwest field).

Seahawks, finally, after being in the league since 1976 have a superbowl for our city, the 2nd world championship of any sport-hockey, baseball, basketball, football--for our city and state in the last 34 years . Seattle Supersonics basketball team in 1979 was it. And, that's it ! I think that somewhere hot will freeze over too before our Seattle Mariners win a World Series :D

out of sheer geographic loyalty, i must disagree with you guys complaining about the SB. that was a great game!

i have to also point out it was a good thing that seattle won. aside from starbucks and microsoft, what else are they going to celebrate? the rain??? : )

p.s. the best thing about the SB? (since my dad lives in another state) spending the second half on the phone with my dad, watching it together. : )

jen, any parent who can claim to have children that resemble the kids you've shared about is certainly very good at more than one thing. : )

p.s. you also have a gift for finding avatars that make me smile.

Seriously, football seems like it would not appeal to straight males. It's a bunch of big men running around in tight, shiny pants; throwing their bodies at each other; and slapping each other on the rear. I'm not even going to mention the names of the positions that sound suspect. They are all wearing matching outfits and fighting over how someone gets to touch the ball before retiring to the communal showers. Why is it considered to be so manly?
