Don't Eat What God Hates. But Why?

The new covenant is Christ, who taught for us to obey God's laws. Where is it written, that food, was part of the old covenant ?


Also, Peter was taught not to call man ( gentiles ) common, or unclean , who through Christ are made clean : that message had nothing to do with food. The unclean food was used to illustrate a point to Peter who viewed the gentiles as common or unclean.


When it comes to food, God has made in His creation for human consumption food "to be received" & food"" Not, to be received". Those foods are listed in God's words, in His law.

Christ taught us to follow God's laws. That includes the health laws.

He made these food laws for a reason. And their not part of the old covenant . There part of God's words which Christ said are forever. I think we should have a open mind to God's words, and toss mans teachings out the window, that say we can eat anything.

Because they are misquoting and twisting of scripture to teach it, that among many things.
At the end of the day, its probably not a sin against the soul , but to your health. But isn't it just ignorant to ignore the warning, when its plainly written.

SO knowing the truth is eating a meat that has trichinosis parasite in it ans 1oz a day is enough to increase the chance of pancreatic cancer by 50%?

Isayah 66:17, "17 They who sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens, following after the one in the midst of those who eat swine's flesh, that which is offered to gods and the rodent--will be consumed together: says Yahweh."

So God erred when He gave us the new testament? What you are saying is blasphemous. The scripture is crystal clear. I neither twisted nor misquoted. You seriously need to re-examine whether or not you truly want to follow God. If you discount plain scripture, which you are doing, then you are rejecting Him.

Those missionaries know full well the health problems the people they visit contend with, around the world, and would not think twice to refuse eating filth ..
They would follow God's health laws before they fall victim to heathen practices. Any Christian who is wise can polity refuse anything. And anyone that would insist their guest eat things they can't , can't be considered a good host.

I doubt highly anyone has refused Christ because their pork dish was refused. .Think of it this way, how much good could a disciple be if they cant follow God's words, and died from food poisoning God told them not to eat.

Leviticus 11:43-44, "You shall not make yourselves abominable with any creature that moves about on the ground. Do not defile yourselves by means of them, nor be made unclean by them. I am Yahweh your Heavenly Father. You shall therefore consecrate and sanctify yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy. Neither shall you defile yourselves with any creature that moves about on the ground."

Yes locusts and honey (bee vomit?) is kosher and sustained Jon the baptist. I love honey and I would not mind eating a locust, though I doubt I would want seconds.

I certainly would not refuse food offered to me if it meant I might offend anyone I was trying to convert to Christianity.
