I don't usually wander into this forum since I am married but, I saw the title of the thread and had to reply. I am a high school math teacher with 11+ years of experience. I was also going to recommend Khan Academy, my students use it to reinforce their skills and it really does help.

Feel free to pm me if you want.

What mathematicians say and hear.

...he's like, pi Babe, how about we discover significant figures together forever?

...she's like, Yess! I'll marry you.

The only math thing I remember is that 1+1 = 2, but in certain cases 1+1 = 3! (If I understand correctly, jewelry and some kind of ceremony must be completed for this mathematical phenomenon to happen)

I was just looking at that WW_21, except there are formulas for area and perimeter like Area=1/2 x base x height for triangles, and perimeter is perimeter=side1+side2+side3, but in this case here I'm not sure but I think x=5. And BananaPie the answer to your post 26 =A

I measured that right triangle using metric cm and they need to learn how to measure correctly.

5 is correct, aka a 3,4,5 triangle. Pythagorean theorem - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

They never draw to scale, trust me, I've checked on multiple tests. haha

I saw the title of this thread in the forum. I was so convinced it was going to be one huge pick up parade. I'm actually really disappointed at the fact it was a very sincere cry for help and that 95% of responses have not been maths related pick up lines. Sigh. Ah well, to the next thread...

Yeah, 3! = 6; the phenomena are called "children" like 4 of 'em. LOL
