Great question homwardbound, thank you!! :)

OK, I'd look at it that way. There is a difference between Reconciliation and Forgiveness. It take ONE to reconcile because reconciliation is about restoring a broken thing. So I can decide to reconcile with someone else and it's up to him to choose if he wants to reconcile with me or not. BUT it takes TWO for forgiveness. Matthew 6: 14-15, Mark 11: 25-26, Luke 6: 37 all of these verses proves that we will Not be forgiven unless we forgive first. Or in other words, I will Not be given something that I cannot give.

The crucifixion of Jesus Christ was a Reconciliation between God and humanity. NOW, it's up to us to accept God's reconciliation and turn it into forgiveness by forgiving one another First so that God would forgive us our sins.

Make sense? :)

That was prayer was before the cross of Christ, what about after the cross, is that prayer filled in Father's sight, are we, those that beleive God forgiven after the death?
So do we still forgive to get forgiven or are we forgiven so we forgive because we are forgiven?
Is there a difference before and after the cross of Christ?

Have you been talking lately to those lovely men who thinks a woman should shut up in church and maybe also when her master (her husband) speaks!! :p :D

i grew up being told "it's a woman's prerogative to change her mind".

however, after some ill-fated discussions,, i would advise you not to offer that line, girls. it's much less helpful than you'd think... : )

Well, I totally forgot about a short essay I was working on that could help cover 1/3 of my total cost of attendance. I'm almost done with it. The best part is, I'm able to do this in plenty of time. :D No way I can miss the deadline for it, since it will be in May. I'm not going to wait that long to finish it.

Standing in my sister's kitchen, making myself a sandwich for lunch (after consuming one or more cupcakes we made yesterday for my daughter's 1st birthday)...

I laid the bread out on a paper towel, put some mustard on it, then a piece of cheese, then some turkey, then dumped some goldfish crackers on....
and realized my sister was watching me as I smooshed the whole thing together and took a big, crunchy bite.

You know that look people give that clearly means "What is WRONG with you?!"

...yeah, that's the look she gave me.

So, mouth full of tasty sandwich, I looked at her like SHE was the crazy one and said, "What? It's a fish and turkey sammich."

And then I totally ate another cupcake.

Sounds like a perfect lunch (breakfast or dinner) to me!

I am so incredibly hungry now. Thanks!
Speaking of cupcakes...where's Pipp?????
I miss being tormented by photos of her baked goods. :)

I need to write more often. Not really for anyone...but just get back into writing in my journal (the last time I wrote was July, eek!) and poetry and just letting words flow. I tend to forget how healing and cathartic it can be.
yay journalling. i highly recommend it. i do it about 3-6 days a week. my whole life is documented in those journals. it's fun to go back and see how i've changed...

I'm sorry GLR...my twisted mind thought "Good thing it's not the other way around"
Then again...it would sort of be like that cloudy with a chance of meatballs film, right?

It's pretty arctic here too. I swear it's colder than Maine,or it could be that the dude I am staying with at the moment never turns his thermostat higher than 59 degrees. I feel like telling him to crank up the heat while I'm here & I'll give him $50 twoards his bill. I don't think I've taken off my hoodie (save for showering) since I've gotten here. Glad I brought 2.

Ice has been cracking and falling off of my roof since yesterday. I figured as long as I was going to be cold I could call a homemade milkshake lunch. :)

So on Wednesday a surgeon ripped 5 pieces of lymph node out of my neck. I say ripped because I felt 2 out of the 5 removals. Apparently I'm a tough lady because I didn't scream or shout, I just grimaced and the nurse gave me more morphine. Easy right? Nothing to it. 45 minutes and I was done. Except I have a HUGE bruise on my neck and it hurts to turn my head. It hurts to swallow too.

Next week I have two doctor's appointments; one with a specialist and one with my general practitioner. Until I get news one way or the other, I'm not going to process this. I'm just going to pretend I don't know the possibilities, or that in 6 days I'll find something out.
