Elin, I think you have a good command of the English language or is it a 2nd language to you? I have to be very forgiving with my Philippine wife ,because she has a limited command of Eng.. But, you are not naive, innocent,
You are being "down right" irritating. to cause division, and to smear an intelligent person. Try a little kindness
.

oh man..you really are dangerous...

James "Law of liberty", written to the 12 tribes scattered abroad (who were before under the Law).
Hey, love you and thank you for the whips, can i have some more lashes and chains to boot?
Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
Philippians 3:10 that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
Philippians 3:11 if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Life the new life is seen by first seeing death of self with Christ's death, co-crucified with Christ.
Galatians 2:20
I am crucifiedwithChrist: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

We don't throw of the "letter" of the law when we obey the "spirit" of the law. The Spirit is not liberty to sin. The law of liberty is no good without the "letter" of the law, because, no law=sin. The law of liberty is freedom from man made and God made ordinances added to the moral laws. With the new heart we can keep both the letter and the spirit of the law, so, we don't ever get free from the moral law. Yes , in a very deep and spiritual way, the "good" "righteous" man, does not need the law, to threaten him, will Hell, if he disobeys; we love the moral law and we love to obey it. BUT, we still need the "letter" of the law for the specifics rules of conduct, other wise, we could make judgments based on the situation, our feelings of the moment, which may be sinful. We need to be wise and know God's sense of things. Love to all, Hoffco
Thanks for that: law letter or not is Spiritual, we are just to see it as Spiritual, not letter, for it is the flesh that is weak, and in need of God's Spirit to do the leading and we follow that in Love God's type best described in 1Cor. 13:4-13
Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Mark 14:38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

The flesh being weak has not changed, what has is the Spirit is alive thanks to God via the resurrected Christ.

John 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

But now today past tense the Spirit is given and started at Pentecost this gift to us all that beleive where we are Justified by God through Son.

A bad example of Jewish conduct.

Gal 2:12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
Gal 2:13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
Gal 2:14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
From the above:
Peter knows that the Jewish conduct forbids Jews to eat/to have companion with the Gentiles (Acts 10:28)
On the Other hand…Gentiles had no known Law for such kind of conduct. (So it's ok for them to eat along)
Now when other Jews came…He withdraw separated himself (FEARING) that others might find fault in him disobeying Jewish conduct.
Peter without the eyes of those of the (judgmental) circumcision was eating with the Gentiles (probably believers) freely, living the Law of Liberty.
Because of the Law, Peter went back to obeying the Conduct of the Jews to avoid criticism. (righteousness by set rules of law)
Peter a Jew was living in the law of Liberty
The Gentiles (probably believer) with peter were just eating, even if those of the circumcision came…
What I would like to convey…
To be considered walking in the Law of liberty, One must be in bondage first.

The question then is, what Part of the Letter/Jewish conduct are applicable to Gentiles? Who decide which applicable and Not?
Do we say the 10 commandments?
And consider those who do not observe the Sabbath, unrighteous conduct of believers,
And Having two wives or more is Just a norm?
Deu 21:15 If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated:
HOW ABOUT ALL THAT LAW:
Gal 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
And I believed with or without the letter, that is the basic law of the majority of religions.

I like this set of scripture.....One thing that amazes me is how many people will say that Paul and Peter had a disagreement which is not what happened...Paul--->REBUKED PETER TO HIS FACE...no argument here!

I guess Paul didn't recognize Peter's (POPESHIP)<-----NOT

That is not NT reasoning, that is non-NT reasoning.

The NT law of liberty is conditioned only on faith, not on personal circumstances.

The law of liberty is for all those under it, irrelevant of their former circumstances.

Whether from a country of bondage or from a country of lawlessness,

when one immigrates to America, he is under the American law of liberty.

Previous bondage is not required to be under the NT law of liberty.

The question then is, what Part of the Letter/Jewish conduct are applicable to Gentiles?
Who decide which applicable and Not?
More non-NT reasoning.

Since the death of Christ, condemnation is by disobedience to one law only, "Repent and believe!"
(Mk 1:16)

Law keeping is not the NT criteria given by Jesus (Jn 3:18, 36).

Only faith is necessary for forgiveness of sin, which is salvation
(Lk 1:77) from the wrath of God (Ro 5:9)
at the final judgment.

That is NT reasoning from the NT word of God.

Just my personal opinion, I don't think wwIII will happen. The geopolitical scene seems to be ripe for the "man of sin" to appear, set the peace pack in place, peace for Israel, the temple rebuilt, the Jesus comes and the rapture, then the Antichrist is ruling in Jerusalem, but not world wide, the world will be in such chaos , that no armies will be able to fight a war. Looking for Jesus to soon come to "catch us away". Love to all, Hoffco OH, we live in Davao city, Golden Hills Village, urban poor, I love it, but, hate the present political scene.
