I have not had much luck in finding that "special someone". In fact, non at all. I've never been asked out, except once as an April fools joke, and the guys who said they liked me later turn on me and never speak to me again. I tried to find good Christian guys but it seems, they were never who they said they were. I am waiting on God to bring me someone but it's really hard to wait and I sometimes think it will never happen. So I decided to venture out and talk to people here. Get to know others who know the struggle. I would love some encouragement right now.

Guess what??? I've never been asked out either.
God has a plan for all of us. I know how you feel
trust me look for friends first and boyfriends

I do my best to. I have (well at the moment it seems had) a best friend that I was hoping could be my boyfriend but it's not meant to be. We will no chance what-so-ever and that's certain. It's ok but honestly, this past year, he has changed into a different person than the one I first met two years ago. I don't know how to handle it right now.

Exactly! I just don't know where to turn anymore. God is directing this boat but it seems my sea is too vast to come across a decent fish.

Yeah its shockingly coincidental...

Also its odd...both are from NC? I disagree that there are two single christian women in this state. At least thats what ive learned in my town.

The dating practices and culture have changed dramatically in the last 30-40 years, and the reasons why the genders are having problems adjusting to one another in order to date. You may want to research or invest a few dollars on dating books available in bookstores. There are also workshops & seminars around but you really have to search for them in magazines & newspaper articles.

That stuck out like a thorn on a Rose. According to Jesus, we all deserve to be a eternal lake of fire forever and ever and ever. So how much do you really deserve?

If you come up to a make in a prideful entitled spirit like that, every man is going to run away.

If you can't humble yourself in this area, at-least hide it first.
