Hey all, so there's a move entitled Gods not dead coming out this Friday. If you search it you'll find the movie website and theaters with movie times.

Awesome! I had seen the trailer on it and it looked great. Acting looks good as well. Look forward to seeing it :)

There should be more movies like that.

I hope it's better than the new film Son of God was. I was disappointed by that one.

I can't wait to see this movie. And the movie about Noah..
I how ever loved the Son Of God movie. Much better then the series in my opinion.
There were some parts of the movie I didn't like but over all I think it was good. Much better then what I had thought it would be.
But I think because the bible was playing in my head the whole time I was watching the movie it made it much more enjoyable me.

Presley: I guess, unlike you, for some viewers, the Bible wouldn't be the prime motivation, right?

Blessings.

The film deviated from the Bible at times, and seemed to put a 'New Age' spin on things, and my personal preferences did not care for that.

I haven't seen the movie but I've seen the TV series. I don't remember there being any "New Age" spin on anything. Can you point out some?

Oh I understand completely and I agree. Ya know what I did love was after the movie was over we were about to leave and I over heard a young teen ask his friend " did all that really happen? Did Jesus really forgive and love like that?" To witch his friend replied " read the bible. Find out for yourself. Jesus was more then what the movie made him out to be. Jesus didn't just love and forgive he taught us how to love and forgive." To me hearing that made me happy. Even with the new age twist it still brought a young teen to wonder about the truth. To me that's what it's all about. Getting people to wonder so that they might seek after the truth for themselves.

This video can do a much more effective job at this than I can barely awake at 3:30am. Especially worth noting are the fact that in the movie Jesus calls Peter first and separately, before He called anyone else at Galilee, and just says to him "Just give me an hour, I'll give you a whole new life".

Very good! Indeed, the Lord Jesus bore the sins of all those who put their trust in Him. The writer to the Hebrews says: 'when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high' (Hebrews 1.6).

Blessings.
