….but I would watched him, Id burned his skull with my watching eyes during whole conversation and I would be prepare for run of my life (chasing him/her down) if he/she will decide to run away with my phone, lol
…I would thrown even my boots after person (with all christian love of course, heh), who would try to steal my phone and maaaan, I would beat him up badlyyy (again with all christian love of course) so badly.. I mean with blessing (verbal)…amen, amen!

Yeh, that’s, how would I handle situation

Be blessed

Hi guestno2
when you say that you would not give up your boots,do you mean you would chase them in your boots instead of taking them off so you could run faster?LOL

hehe, lol .. you know, in my head I would do things.. heroic deeds, but in reality.. I wouldn’t stay a chance with my 47 kg even against one legged old man, he would throw me behind his shoulder together with my boots with one hand… probably …so .. it was all just big talk from my end… hm..
but I probably would try to fight for my phone anyway .. or…it depends.. it depends ..sometimes for example when Im late and I see the bus over the corner, I will run, and run.. but sometimes Ill just tell myself, oh, whatever, so Ill be late, so what..) so maybe I just wave to my phone and let him (my iphone is he) go ..
sorry for en

I have in the past. I asked the person for the number and dialed it myself, let it ring, then handed the phone over. But I did stay close enough to know when the conversation was over. It's a risky thing, these days, and I'm sorry it has to be that way. I'd offer to call someone, call 911, because it would have to be urgent to need a phone so bad you have to borrow a strangers' phone. What did we do before cell phones?!?!?!?

I don't know what I would do. Guess it would depend if the person just ran or didn't care or stood there and felt bad, apologized, etc.

Good question.... I'd probably get quite mad if they dropped it. I for once have a phone that actually works
.... but now I probably jinxed it :p

;)I have to smile... really big... I have a US Cellular - LG and it is like 10 yrs.old.
but works like a charm. I don't text so I haven't any reason to discard it. Anyway
I was bragging to someone about it being a great phone for its age. Never have
I dropped it.... yada, yada, yada, my husband said... "I have dropped it a time or
two." Arghhh, Well it is a good little phone. I use a trac phone when we are in
stores. If we need to know where each one is we call one another. I admit to
making US Cellular wealthy because I use like 6 or 10 mins. a month and pay
them $40 a month.

As to what did we do before cell phones ? We use a portable w/ answering
machine. We have have had accidents in front of our house and some cells
would not work so I took my portable out to them to use so they could make
their call. We have more towers now, so I am certain unless it is a trac phone
they would have no problem.

While on the topic of portable phones.... I will share briefly a story about my
portable Toshiba phone. It is well over 10 years old. Anyway I had elderly
neighbors next door and even though they had land line, I took my portable
with me and used it to call 911 for them when they had need of EMT squad.
So go ahead.....laugh now... I know it is so old fashion isn't it ? But there
is a saying.. IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT....... LOL ~ Thanks for the
memories.... J~K~2

Hi wwjd_kilden
you may want to temporarily adjust the settings on your phone to the do not show the number of your phone.
i don't know if that really matters.I just thought i would mention it.

yeah, I have a 30$ flip phone that is 7 months old so probably worth 25 now so not a big deal if someone else wants to use it.

Hi gb9
I guess if someone wanted to carry an extra phone like a minutes phone, seems like a burden to carry it,but if minutes were on it and it were an inexpensive phone ,i think that would work.

i have let a stranger use my phone but i did think about what if he run what would i do.. i think if it were an emergency i would do it again, because i have a belief that there are still honest people out there and that they wouldn't run off with my phone
