I can imagine! I doubt we'll ever know the real truth.
If you did there would be no need for believe, hope and love now would there
So are you saying you need to see to beleive?
when I am saying believing is seeing, otherwise there would be no need for faith to see

See now, the conversation steers toward the undebatable. Can't explain something? Or something seems impossible? Oh, it was God.

When it becomes supernatural It's neither provable or unprovable, and it renders the discussion useless now because whenever something comes up that you can't explain or something that defies logic and common sense, then it's just attributed to god cos he can do what he likes.

It shuts down your ability to think and reason, because you don't have to think anymore when the answer to everything you can't explain is 'magic'.

And I don't use that word to insult or mock. Your using supernatural explanations to fill a knowledge gap. I'm not comfortable settling for that.
Im afraid you are going to have to get comfortable settling for that, because you are on a Christian forum.

What do you want? Do you want me to dig up medical documents and possible explanations as to how Jesus rose from the dead after 3 days? There are none. God did it and I have the faith and belief He did. Just because you don't believe in the supernatural doesn't make my words any less valid.

Of course it is not debatable. We are not here to entertain you. :)

I know most athiests come here, because the debate is fun for them. They have no desire to actually find God.

You are going to have to accept the fact that Christians believe God did a great many things. You may not believe it, but at least respect us enough to not just say, "it's magic" whenever we simply declare what the Bible says.

Not your fault, I had only posted a GIF, not this vid.

Anyway, back to the debate if there's such a thing as an atheist

This isn't atheism. It's an ignorant misunderstanding many people have about atheists.

All pictures for and against religion and atheism are ridiculous. It's only a bit of fun, don't expect anything factual lol

An atheist is someone who doesn't believe that he believes in God.

for someone to say there is no God, well that's just an idea. to say there is a God, well that's an idea as well. to call yourself an atheist, or even a Christian, only says what ideas you have subscribed to or believe in. doesn't really say what you are, for the obvious reason that we are not words, ideas or images. we are human organisms. the problem with ideas about ourselves and about the universe we're in, is that they are surprisingly limited

Well actually 'Christian' and 'Atheist' are not both ideas. Christian is a Thiest who follows and believes in the teachings of Christ and the bible. An Atheist could be agnostic, but it doesn't follow anything but the idol of themselves or things.

Lol no, an atheist is someone who doesn't believe in a higher power. That's it!

Nothing about idols or themselves etc.

i don't understand the constant need for people to change or add to the definition of the word.

Intothevoid, if you don't believe in a higher power who then do you serve? If we are the higher power to the atheist view then we would be the gods would we not?

Hey, I'm not adding anything that's just a fact. You serve someone or something even if it's yourself.
