do you rely on works of the law to receive blessings and/or favor from God? simple question. your posts say yes. you think you're saved by keeping the law.
Hmmm, show me a post where I have said that I rely on works to save me. In fact, put up or shut up.

His posts remind me of someone else (Rev 12:10).

you're a disciple of moses. i don't know you. the word accuses you, not me.
No, it just so happened that I believe in the One who says man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. And you have to ask yourself - did He really say that?

An uncircumcised heart doesn't exemplify loving God. If you only see circumcision in the physical sense, you are showing your mind not to be spiritual.

Romans 8:4-8 (KJV)
[SUP]4 [/SUP]That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
pay attention to the subject.

Galatians 5:11
11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
Back to ya. If ya cannot speak in spiritual terms, your argument is in vain. Paul was defining this difference in the scripture you present. There is a phrase that goes along with vain rhetoric. "Get a life."

If you are going to use an apostle to explain what they taught and why, contribute to the conversation in totality. Paul was balanced, not one sided.

Acts 24:10 (KJV)
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:

Acts 24:14 (KJV)
[SUP]14 [/SUP]But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

Picking a choosing for your own agenda doesn't work. It's God's agenda for us to live by not ours. Don't change our Father in heaven into the image you want. It will surely come back to haunt you.

done previously. very interesting the deception involved. it takes years to develop these customized legal systems of todays self-righteous law-keepers (deluded). i suppose that's why they are so hard to abandon.. so much work involved.

Two men went up into the temple to pray...
And if you did, you would have found out your accusation is groundless, much like those who accused Jesus and Paul.
Two men went up into the temple to pray... And?

If you have faith you just have to command the furniture to move and they will be moved to where ever you pleased unfortunately you rely on work. When will you learn?
Absolutely love this! Couldn't stop laughing for awhile!

strange, you will find you need to be jewish, to take part with a jewish family, at the Passover celebration. so I can only guess, you need to be jewish, to celebrate Passover. (ie snip snip).
I am Jewish yet I live as a gentile to say I observe the sabbath by teaching on the sabbath complete with worship to celebrate the resurrection of the Lord at the end of the sabbath , Jesus is the Lord of the sabbath but we are not under Law but Grace through Jesus in the Law of liberty of the spirit in christ

What gets me is that some act as if ignorance was a virtue. All these people placing their faith in law, knowing that it is impossible. Believing that God will accept their work. When in fact the Cross is the only work He will accept. Look if your faith is in the cross, the Holy Spirit will then help you to keep God's morality, however when the focus of our faith moves to anything other than the cross, The Holy Spirit backs up and says you are own your own kid. Boast in the cross and not law, nor Passover nor 40 days of purpose, nor fasting, nor prayer, nor bible study. But, boast in the cross.

I meant, Our schools said we no longer need the cross, we have psychology and policy we don't need you any more. Now mothers are biting their nails to send little Johnny to school.

Our Government said we don't need the cross anymore we got this thing handled. We have a Muslim as president, free speech is gone, The right to own firearms is in the wings and Socialism is the theme of the day, Bye bye freedom.

Please, lets get back to the cross. Amen

Kerry, who said they are placing their faith in the Law? Which person, and in which post? I know I don't.
Thanks in advance for you research.

Peace,
Matt

It all started with Christians saying bye bye to the 10 commandments and taking love your neighbors as have respect for their religions and tolerance of crime and in USA, the abuse of the concept of separation of church and state.

That sounds like it is made up, pure fantasy. Christians are under the law of Christ. Paul said he is under the law of Christ and wrote that we are under the law of Christ. This means we must love God and love our neighbor as Jesus loves us. 9 of the 10 commandments are affirmed in the New Testament. So please stop whining about things which are not true.

He wasn't talking about the 10 commandments vs. The Law of Christ.

The topic of his post was in regards to taking the 10 commandments out of school and government, expanding on what Kerry said. I'm sure we would all agree that taking God out of schools and government has only hurt society.

First, it's disgusting that a few Messianic believers cannot come together in a post and have a conversation about their holidays without the workers of lawlessness coming around to condemn us to hell. By your very behavior, you are sitting in the throne of the King, and you assume his title of Judge. You are not worthy to tie his shoes, let alone judge on his behalf.

A) We don't all have to agree with one another to be fellow believers. That very concept is ridiculous in the extreme, and running around verbally bashing fellow believers over the head because they do things you don't like is the height of hypocrisy. You have something in your eye. You might want to get that looked at.

B) No where, ever, in the history of mankind or the Bible has a single human being ever been censored for being obedient to the word. Ever. Can you show me one single example of that happening?

C) Condemning others for following the words of the Creator of the Universe makes you a Pharisee. Pharisee's believed that man's law, and their interpretation of man's law, was more important and valid than Yah's law. What the workers of lawlessness fail to realize is that this is the "law" Paul was talking about. This was the behavior he was condemning. Saying otherwise reflects your ignorance of who Paul was and what he was writing about. You are twisting his words to your own destruction.

Please go back to the other workers of lawlessness and let them know what you have heard here. I'm sure they will agree with you much more than those who were brave enough to turn away from the mainstream and be a peculiar people, and not just another sheep following an unknown shepherd.

On a positive note, in my search for a Seder to attend I found these folks: Cornerstone Baptist Church - Winning Souls And Making Disciples

This is a mainstream, Baptist church teaching Torah and holding a Seder. :D I likely will not attend their Seder, as doing so would mean not having one at home, and one's first ministry is always to their own home. However, I see they hold a Sabbath gathering at 11 am each Sabbath. One day soon I think I will stop in on a Sabbath morn, and see what they are teaching.

The time of the grafting of the branches is coming, and the outpouring is beginning. Ten years ago, when I began to observe the feasts, I was the only one I could find within 500 miles of my home. Period. During that time, things have changed rapidly. Not only are Christian churches beginning to see the prophetic truth of the Feast days and the Acceptable Calendar of Yahweh, Jews are beginning to see that Messiah was and is and will be again. The he died and was their Passover lamb. Literally, his blood is upon them. The answer lies somewhere in between discarding the law and ignoring salvation, and we grow closer to finding it everyday. :D
