Praise the Lord. God: how many? Some say two. Some say three. Some say one. What does the Bible say? Notice how in the Bible it says one: Isaiah 45. God one individual says, I am the LORD, and there is none else, THERE IS NO GOD BESIDE ME. Isaiah 44.24 this same one says, I am the LORD that makes all things; that stretches forth the heavens ALONE; that spread abroad the earth BY MYSELF. He says in Isaiah 45.21, There is no God beside me; a just God and a Saviour; THERE IS NONE BESIDE ME. In 2Kings 19.15 Hezekiah prayed to this one, and said, O LORD God of Israel...thou art the God, EVEN THOU ALONE. Psalm 86.10 says, Thou art God alone. Psalm 83.18 says, Thy name alone is JEHOVAH. So you see the Bible declares one individual being is God. Now this God was the Father because he created everything. Malachi 2.10 says, Have we not all ONE FATHER? has not one God created us? This one God became a man, and his name was called Jesus. John 1.1,14 says, the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh. 1Timothy 3.16 says God was manifest in the flesh...received up into glory; and he was called the Son of God, because Luke 1.35 says The angel said to Mary, The power of the Highest will overshadow you: therefore also that holy thing which will be born of you will be called the Son of God. Jesus was the one God, and the Son of God. Then after Jesus ascended to heaven, he came back down in the Spirit, and was called the Holy Ghost. Acts 1. 33 when they got the Holy Ghost, Peter said, Jesus shed forth this, which you now see and hear. Romans 8.9 says...if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST, he is none of his. So according to the scriptures we see God is not two, or three, but it is one . This one individual who claimed to be God was Father in creation. The same one was Son in redemption. And He is now the Holy Ghost in the believerl. So God: how many. The Bible says one. May God bless you. Amen.

Haha Tintin are you serious? Three roles ONE PERSON. God is ONE tintin not three. One SPirit ONe Father ONe lord One Truth.
Look how easy it is to say it.... Gal_3:20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one.
Jas_2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

A person is a soul and a spirit. No matter what BODY that person wears that is ONE PERSON. And God is ONE SOUL and ONE SPIRIT that makes him ONE PERSON! The Person we call GOD! Not the persons we call Gods The PERSON WE CALL GOD. ONE GOD ONE PERSON. THREE AND MORE ROLES!

Tin tin look what happened to 5000 men in Acts 4... Act 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
Act 4:32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul:

Jesus asked the Father to make them ALL PERFECTLY ONE... John 17. Dod God make them all perfectly one here? Yes He did.

These people had ONE SPirit and ONE SOUL.. that makes them.. 5000 ONE PERSON and who is that person?
Eph 4...There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

One SOUL and ONE SPIRIT makes ONE PERSON AND ONE BODY.... as easy as that.

God is NOT a Skitso. He has only ONE SPIRIT AND ONE SOUL .. that makes Him a COMPLETE person.

So you are a modalist Cobus?
While you might enjoy that theology, the church rejected this is the 3rd Century.

I don't know what church rejected the truth of the word of God in the 3rd century. But I know in 1Corinthians 8.6 the apostle Paul said of himself, and the church he was in, But to us there is but one God, the Father. He certainly did not mention three persons in that verse. So if modalism is believing in one, like he said the Father, who became the Son, who became the Holy Ghost, I am definitely modalistic. We should answer with Bible proof, not just say this church rejected, or accepted something.

Something went seriosly wrong during the writing of the bible somehow because there is confusion concerning the trinity in the new testament

But the old testament put it straight that God is one and there is none but him

So the acceptable interpretation is that God appears in three forms which is God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, all these being one but just the form that changes

"Jesus and the father are one". One in concensus, diferent roles and physically (bodilly) separated... Just look at Stephens words: "I look Heavens and I see the glory of God and Jesus at His right hand" (Acts)

But, NONE will miss salvation if WE so naturally lack the complete sight of this issue, because we ARE BELIEVING BY FAITH, we are understanding BY FAITH, we are arguing matters by faith, and this sometimes comes to the realm of Phylosofy, ideas, and the only source we have (sometimes) is the witnessing of books written by men (apostles of Jesus) + those letters written by those believed to be somebody by ANY church (and some of them. man-made churches).

I would agree with COBUS or AND, but I prefer to be alone (all the way long) till I see Jesus coming back (with His angels) while God watches -above- His planned redemptive Salvation.

We are NOT guilty to believing, we do are guilty for DISBELIEVING and doing wrong so, we are NOT hurting other for these beliefs. Just look at THOSE who attack and kill to make "us" to believe THEIR RELIGION is "correct" and they´re willing to kill, to destroy (even kicking some butts) to make THEIR way all through.

I´m not "trinitarian". God is Spirit. Jesus is His Son (a divine being also) and both are supernatural, belonging to another realm my mind cannot think of or access, because THIS (my mind) is fixed to think I´m from the earth, but I also have a spirit and THIS is my mind (my mind and my spirit is ONE, not two). I´m somewhat dualist! :)

Jesus WAS REJECTED, also, by several "churches" His life and earthy time... :p

So I won´t trust any church but the lesson the Bible still gives + my DARK insight of my human experience: Namely knowledge. (I´m not gnostic, by the way). I´m just another disciple of Jesus, not a follower of men´s traditions. :)

The Church decision on this matter was made by the WHOLE church, not the Roman Catholic church, or just any old church, but the church as a whole.

As mysterious and hard to grasp as it is, the Bible makes it pretty clear that God is Three Persons but one God. Besides all the proof in the NT (eg. Jesus on earth at His baptism with the Holy Spirit descending on Him while the Father is speaking from above), there are some passages that are only understood in the context of God being a plurality. The Bible talks about God taking counsel with Himself, and as someone mentioned above, Jesus was standing beside the Father during Stephen's stoning. To further aid our lack of intelligence, the Bible helps us by talking several times about the seven Spirits of God. We aren't able to grasp what that's saying with our natural minds. Most of us only speak one language and only believe China exists because we've been told (and of course we've seen Chinese people and China on the screen); if we lack natural knowledge, how do we expect to understand spiritual things. The Bible makes it clear that God and his ways can only be grasped and understood by our spiritual man not our natural man. (Read 1Cor. 2:4-14.) In 1Cor. 2, Paul says that the natural man can't understand the things of the Spirit because, naturally, the things of the Spirit are spiritually discerned (i.e. they are only appraised and understood by our spirit man). Paul is not talking about unbelievers by saying "natural man"; he's talking to Christians there and is addressing the natural or carnal way of thinking (the carnal mind which is what allows a Christian to sin at all; if you still sin, then you've got it) that remains in a Christian until full redemption. Most of us live most of our lives in our natural mind; we can't seriously expect to understand anything in the Bible while living this way. When we debate things out of our carnal minds, we may feel like we're right or that we're smart, but that's far from the truth, and often, only unbelievers know it.

There is a devil that performs signs and wonders, it help almost all preachers who are gifted in healing you can think off and I'm not talking about the second hand information, this devil is the one Jesus mentioned about saying that false prophets will do even greater wonders

guess what, it calls itself Holly Gost/Holy Gost move, I have seen this

Now if you did read the Tora or the old testament in details then you should not question the oneness of God and this trinity is the one that makes the gospel nonsense to the Jews because of these three bodies of God

I know Jesus is Johovha, he is God the almighty himself appearing in the form of men

Who is the Holy Spirit?

The angels are holy and are the spirit, if you don't get me they are the Holy Spirits themselves

Please take this as a question

Hashe, I do not lable people, and can you show me a MODALIST in the Bible? Show me also in the Bible where the church rejected God is one!

Let me explain to you how it works... USING ONLY THE BIBLE....

God is Spirit. That same God that is Spirit is so HUGE he cannot fit into a building that himan hands build, LET ALONE IN A FELSH BODY. His Glory CANNOT be contained! Do you understand how HUGE His glory is? His head rests in the stars and His feet on the earth. How can this God fit into the earth itself? But.... He will have to do something to fit into flesh. So God did this...

God took a little bit of His glory and fitted it into a human fleshly body. And that little Boy was Named Jesus. God in the flesh. As much as God could fit into the flesh of Himself HE DID IN JESUS. Jesus says... Father the hour has come glorify thy son with the glory He had before the earth was made, WITH THINESELF....

Do you see what I see? God, FATHER God is the great Glory of God. but God, FATHER GOD in the flesh is just a chio of the GREAT Glory of Himself in flesh, and he called it SON JESUS CHRIST.... So now we know there is only ONE person called Jesus and the same person in ALL His glory called Father God.

But what makes them one? The SAME Spirit. Jesus and Father God is ONE SPIRIT. but remember that Spirit has so much glory that it CANNOT fit into something small. Yet if He only takes a fraction of His Glory and put it in flesh, that flesh will be GOD IN FLESH.... And htat is EXACTLY how God is ONE. NOT THREE not TWO ONE!

If a person wants two personalities he has to have TWO spirits. If TEN people what the same personality they will have to have ONE Spirit. The Spirit makes the person, and God and Jesus has ONE HOLY SPIRIT! ONE MAN ONE GOD ONE PERSON.

Now you can praise God for the knowledge in this post, I am not even CLOSE as clever as this I just wrote. I learned it from the Father HIMSELF IN His bible. Ask if I must proof ANY point with Scripture I will gladly qoute the Word of God to prove God SAID THIS... not me.

Yhwh is the only true living God, the Old Testament makes that very clear and without any doubt he was manifest in the flesh:

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

God is spirit, is also omnipresent. When he overshadowed Mary, he inhabited that seed and remained in heaven. When Mary gave birth, we now have spirit become flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). It was that bouncing baby boy that was the son of God according to the flesh, according to the blood line of David. And, it was also God incarnate according to the spirit.

Romans 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
[4] And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Notice he is the Son of God, NOT God the Son. The term God the Son implies a second person but that term is not found in the Bible. Nor is the term God the Holy Ghost, but folks use these terms as though it were Bible. Here is what a word search turns up:

using the e-Sword Bible Study Program:

Word Phrase search for:

1) God the Father = 12 hits
2) God the Son = 0 hits
3) God the Holy Ghost/Spirit = 0 hits

Throughout the Old Testament God is also called the Lord. Deuteronomy 6:4 clearly tells us ... "Hear, O Israel: the LORD our God is one LORD:" Therefore, compare the following references:

The Lord God is the Creator. Isaiah 42:5.
The Lord Jesus is the Creator. John 1:3, 10.

The Lord God said, "I am He." Isaiah 43:10.
The Lord Jesus said, "I am He." John 8:24.

The Lord God is the only Saviour. Isaiah 43:10, 11.
The Lord Jesus is the Saviour. Titus 1:4.

The Lord God shall reign forever. Psalms. 146:10.
The Lord Jesus reign forever. Luke 1 :33.

The Lord God is the King of Israel. Isaiah 43:15.
The Lord Jesus is the King of Israel. Matt. 27:37.

The Lord God is the First and the Last. Isaiah 44:6.
The Lord Jesus is the First and the Last. Revelation 1:8.

The Lord God is Almighty. Genesis 17:1.
The Lord Jesus is Almighty. Revelation 1:8.

When Philip asked Jesus in John 14:8-9, shew us the Father, Jesus replied, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Jesus also said in John 8:24&27: I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. [27] They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.

The omnipresence of God has him both coming out of the water at the baptism of John, and simultaneously descending like a dove (which was a sign unto John), while speaking from heaven in Matthew 3:17, which was a perfect example of how our one true God can multitask. God does not jump out of one person in Mexico to go and jump into another saved person in France, He is in all saved people at the same time, and was in all three places at that baptism while still being the one omnipresent Spirit who is in heaven.

In John 3:13 we have Jesus essentially saying to Nicodemus, I am both in heaven and simultaneously standing right here talking with you...

And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. (John 3:13)

That is much easier believed (and understood) than the trinitarian "theory".

Flesh is more than one Spirit of Father is one period, that speaks not of self as in holier than though, even though Father is.
Father praises Son and Son praises Father and the Holy Spirit of Father has been sent to invite us to join in on this dance of praise one to another, never taking credit to self as Father and Son have shown, which makes the two one and we are invited to join in and be as one with Father and Son
Now this is completely different than this world teaches correct? When did Jesus ever praise self? When did or does Father ever praise self?
So are we to praise self, ever? I see to let Father and Son do that if they choose so, and I will just praise Father and Son, Thanks

You said there are three persons that are God, and that Jesus' baptism proves that. No where in the Bible does it say that three persons are God. You misinterpret scripture. God is omnipresent. Jesus said in John 3.13 The Son of man, which is in heaven. At Jesus baptism you have one person God in the water, at the same time since he was omnipresent he was coming through the air, then he spoke from heaven. The Son of man, which is in heaven. It's not three. It is one.
