Atheists will generally take a secular/scientific approach, just as many liberal Christians do, but whereas a Christian might cite God as the cause of the Big Bang, for example, an atheist will say the same but do without God.
Personally, I don’t like the idea of the Big Bang. I am an old supporter of the Steady State hypothesis that preceded it, but its supporters have mostly all transferred allegiance to the new hypothesis which is a better fit for the data. Is the Big Bang the final explanation for the origin of the universe? I don’t know.

Science will never know what caused the big bang if there was a big bang, simply because they were not there and have no eye witnesses. The same is true in Christian circulars, we were not there. But, that is not the case when it comes to Jesus Christ. In fact they were more than 170 eye witnesses that saw Him ascend to Heaven. By the word of two or three witnesses let everything be established. So, if you don't have at least two witness it is hogwash.
Is that how you deal with things you don't agree with? The mark of an open and free society is open and free discussion. A closed society is one where people are silenced. It's a scary prospect.

Raymond Moody is the founder and apparently there have been a number of criticisms of his techniques. One complaint is that he doesn't include examples of NDEs that don't fit his hypothesis.
I can't find any independent information about his very official looking website. Rather reminds me of the stuff Hans Holzer use to write about. I am not sure how much I trust this information.

All steady state models assume that the universe is infinite in age and extent. During the last three decades a series of complex observational and theoretical tests was developed to prove or disprove the steady state model. Under the weight of these and at least nine other independent refutations; new evidence that the darkness of intergalactic space must result from the finite ages of all the galaxies; plus the established character of the cosmic background radiation, the abundance of the elements, the dispersal of galaxies with respect to time, the cosmic entropy, measure, the accelerating expansion of the universe, etc... etc... etc... all clearly refute the steady state/quasi-steady-state/bouncing universe models leaving a few crusty atheists who don't wish to admit the obvious clinging to them. Cycel, like Bondi and Hoyle, is in denial.
Really, the first COBE results reported in January 1990 showed the universe to match a perfect radiator, dissipating virtually all its available energy. The data showed the background radiation temperature to be very low and smooth. No irregularities in the temperature larger than one part in 10,000 were detected. This extraordinarily low and smooth temperature in the cosmic background radiation convinced astronomers that the universe must have had an extremely hot beginning about 15 to 20 billion years ago. That finding alone essentially ruled out many of the alternative models for the universe's beginning such as the steady state model.
And the "nothings" that Larry Krauss in that video Cycel posted appeals to for his explanations are really “some things” that demand nothing less than the existence and involvement of the biblical God (but at least Krauss and Scherrer admit entropy - the loss of all usable energy as all stars burn out for all eternity). Cycel has had enough witness and scripture and evidence more than most Christians have. He just does not want to believe. That is the fact. Satan has him wrapped around his finger and so deceived, only the Holy Spirit could peak light into him.

The Big Bang for those that read the Bible.
For the Atheist puppet a big bang created the fake pictures NASA been posting for years based of a theory that is pretty much discreditted years ago. The Atheist overlords who thinketh themselves vain kings and idols for they are atheists whom are simply DIY pagans, they have a different sort of different Big Bang in the form of destruction to themselves and their people in many means.
I know this for I thy lowly servant was an atheist and what an foolish atheist I was for my DIY paganism was to make all of mankind into gods. That DIY Paganism became Jedi Mind Tricks on my foolish self which are easier to break than Vulcan Mindmelds in my humble opinion.
The unrebukable answer I have found is Jesus the Christ found in the four Gospels of the Bible and indeed from there the Bible as a whole. That is the hardest fact in all true logic for anyone to start from. Start with Jesus and become a Christian or at least learn more about Him, do not be ashamed to be Christian.

I have more than a theory, scripture reveals how the universe was created.
Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Heb 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
The word of God is spirit, the word was made flesh, created from things which do not appear. The worlds were created the same way. They started out in the spirit world as the spoken word of God, and God's faith caused it to move from the spirit world to the natural world.
I have a question for you. Where did Jesus' physical body go after He vanished from the apostle's sight? He said that He had flesh and bone as you and I have. So what happened to that physical body of His when He disappeared?
If we have entertained angels unaware at times, whom we believe to be spirits, how did they present themselves as flesh in the natural world? Could it be that some of them already have a flesh body in the spirit world? How did we eat Jesus' flesh?
Is it too difficult to believe that the worlds as we know them, started out and came into being from the spirit world?

Why has an Athiest joined a Christian site, to ask Christians or christian like people to ask you to ask you questions about Athiesm? We know that there are people in the world don't want to know about God, and Christianity. We know that Atheist exists. We know that Atheist has a so called faith system, because faith is believing, and beliveing is faith. So therefore an Atheist has a faith system, to believe that there is no God.
So why an Atheist joined a Christian website? unless you are deep down searching for God, or that you have come to cause some sort of derailment, or that you are trying to question our beliefs, to say that we are wrong, yet you don't know yourself, because you refuse to believe in what Christians believe? So which is it? Bare in mind I am not saying that you are doing these things, but asking you.
